My Recommendation to whogohost.

In as much as i really love the service provided through your platform, the greatest challenge i have with you guys is the customer care chat response rate and support ticket response delay; you guys take forever to reply and based on my view - its really a turn off!

Please work on this, your customer satisfaction should be your utmost desire.

Thanks! smiley

Thank you for your kind feedback. We work hard to respond as quickly as possible to requests, but sometimes, the requests on queue lead to delays. We are however working on improving the speed of our delivery. We apologise for any inconvenience you may have experienced due to these delays and assure you that your satisfaction is our utmost desire. Be rest assured that we are already working on improving this.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We will definitely get even better.

Should i say thank you?

I noticed from your whois record, your nameservers was changed 35 mins ago and I sent you a link to confirm it and' you said yeah that me'

Hello Ups01,

I will like to apologise sincerely for the trouble you have had with your issue. We do our best to give the best of support and as timely as possible and I apologise that we did not accomplish this in this case.

I have reviewed this matter with the Head of our support team and it appears that the support rep that attended to your ticket did not flag the ticket appropriately. This led to a delay in response and this explains why the matter has taken so long to be resolved. I assure you that the support rep will be appropriately punished for this oversight.

I have also confirmed that your ticket has been attended to and your site now loads fine. Please feel free to update that ticket if you still have any other issues to resolve. Someone from our support team will also give you a call shortly to ensure that the matter has been fully resolved.

Once again, I apologise that you experienced this delay from us and assure you that this is not our usual custom. We do hope that you will give us another chance to serve you better.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Please I need quick answers

I saw a post on tutorial how to set up a blog so I decided to try it out so I went to a hosting site Whogohost to register my domain and hosting but I got the shock of my life when I saw that I have to purchase a CPANEL before I can access my site.

Please tell me this is not true cos I don't money to pay for any CPANEL afterall have spent on the Domain and Hosting.

Please I need someone to guide me on what to do?

If you got a shared hosting account from us, then it comes with cPanel and you do not need to pay additional fees for this. If you however got Cloud Hosting or a Virtual Server, you may choose to install cPanel on your server if you will like to use the service. You may contact us by sending a mail to support[at]whogohost.com to understand the options available to you.

Don't ever use whogohost. From the first day I started hosting with them on December 2015 till today, my site has been down for 20 times. It's a very terrible experience. The only good thing about whogohost is their customer services , after that, be expecting your site to be going down once in a while for an average of 30 minutes each time it goes down

I am sorry you have been having issues with your site. I however suspect that this issue may be relative to your site and not our servers or service. Like most shared hosting companies, we have limits set in place to ensure the stability of our servers. If your site exceeds those limits, chances are your site may not be accessible during that period.

We will however be willing to look into this matter. If you can provide the ticket ID of the mail you sent in, our support team will definitely reach out to you.

We pride ourselves in giving the best of support and service and apologise if you have had any issues using our service. We do hope to hear from you.

I met my best friend who i've known way back since primary school. immediatly after his graduation from the university in the UK 3 years ago, we met again in an ICT event in lagos and decided to go into business together.this guy have got great ideas and his parents are wealthy enough to support him with any amount he wants.he like me and trusted me so much, likewise his parents.he started sharing with me some of his ideas and possible domain names we can use.i searched for it on whogohost 2 days later someone took it.whois of it was hidden. he was so mad at me that why will i steal the domain name and lied that someone stole it. he shared another one with me again actually dis time he layed an ambush(a ridiculous domain name) i checked it on whogohost.com boooom 3 days later taken again!!!! his dad told him to stay away from me that i cant be trusted.
Now he is doing very very good with his online men and ladies blazers business. since then i moved on,
but i kept wondering who could have been responsible. until recently a company asked my company to design a casino slut machine application for them. they said we should secure a particular domain name that they've been monitoring online for the past 5years.(bingo.com.ng) i typed it on whogohost.com the next day BOOOOOOOOM taken by whogohost staff. I typed it on whogohost on tuesday they took it the next day on wednesday these week. i started recalling what had been happening with me and my friend.
i would have lost my job if that the thieves inside whogohost company had hidden the whois details of who bought the domain name.now ive searched for hundred of domain names on godaddy and hostgator but they will never do that insider stealing.my advise to Nigerians be careful when using whogohost.com cos some of their staff are thieves. they can see all the domain names people searching for. they will obviously take it before you do. when trying to check for .NG OR .COM.NG with them make sure you want to buy it immediatly after checking if its available or not.
should i go back to my friend to explain to him my mistakes of searching for domain names on whogohost.com or should i just move on with my life? am confuse.

We have not and will not register any domain name simply because someone searched for the domain on our platform. The domain name in question was registered by someone. The fact that you searched for the same domain name does not mean we had any hand in registering the domain name. You highlighted the name of a registrant. Do you have any proof that this registrant works for Whogohost? We will gain nothing in registering domains that people check for on our site. If we did that, we will probably run out of business.

If you think a domain is great, a lot of other people think so too. Don't just search for the domain anywhere. Register it. That is the only way you can keep that domain name. Otherwise, anyone else can register that domain.

If you have any inquiries about this matter or any other issue, do send a mail to support[at]whogohost.com and we will be glad to attend to the matter.

jimi4us:
Are you saying you guys cant see what people are typing from your back-end? It happened 3 times and this particular one got me upset. because it always happen between a short period of one week.

All domains registered with us are registered on a first come, first serve basis. Since the .ng TLD is still new, there are a lot of fantastic names that can be registered. If someone else took a domain you searched for, isn't it possible that someone else also thought of the same name? You can check the details of the registrants of the domains you searched for to confirm that they are simply individuals that purchased a domain that is also relevant for them.

My suggestion is that when you search for a domain with any provider, complete the sale as no name is reserved for anyone till payment is made. If you still have any questions about this, feel free to reach out to us
Webmasters / Re: Why Do Nigerians Prefer .com To .ng Domains? by whogohost: 4:28pm On Sep 28, 2015

be careful when searching for domain name on whogohost, as usual Naija people always want to play a fast one on people. i discovered that any time i seach for a nice name on whogohost.com 1 week later someone from their office will grab it before you do. picture below its an evidence of my claim. i searched for a domain name (bingo.com.ng) 3 days later it was taken by one Collins Adetuberu who work in whogohost office.

so guys my advice is, if you are not ready to pay for the domain name under 24hrs don't even think of searching for it in Nigerian domain sellers. eg web4africa or whogohost.

Thank you for your comment. We however do not register domains simply because someone else searched for the domain on our platform. If that were true, we will have to register so many domains every day. What will we do with them all?

The fact that someone else registered a domain name you searched for does not automatically mean there was foul play. If a domain name looks fantastic to you, be sure that it looks fantastic to others too. We do not give anyone data of WHOIS searches and if a domain name is registered, it is because someone else wants it too.

If you have any further concerns about this, we will be glad to address them. You may visit https://www.whogohost.com/contact-us.php to learn how to reach out to us.

How much is it to register on whogohost for the first time?

The cost depends on the TLD you would like to register with. You may visit https://www.whogohost.com/domains/domain-registration.php for a full list of our domain prices. You may also send a mail to support[at]whogohost.com if you have any other inquiries.

dependable:
recently there has been an organized scam by domain providers to unsuspecting Nigerians which a close friend of mine happens to be a victim. they give u purpotedly cheap domain registrations and then try milking u dry as soon as u are to renew after or before the expiration. u will b left with no choice as the wld park your domain name and ask to pay heavily for a renewal claiming the domain has entered "redemption" pls beware. one of such is WHOGOHOST!!!

Domain redemption period is a standard status period for domains that have expired and passed the autorenew period. You may visit http://www.tucowsdomains.com/whois-use-and-information/what-does-redemptionperiod-or-pending-delete-restorable-mean/ to learn more about this.

Note that when a domain expires, the registrant has a few days to renew the domain at regular price. If he fails to do so, the domain goes into the redemption period for about a 40day period during which the cost for RESTORING the domain is much higher. Note that the registrar is also charged a very high fee during this period and as such, the high fee is transferred to the registrant. This status period is observed by populat gTLDs such as .com, .org, .net, etc and depends entirely on the registry of the TLD.

If you have any further inquiries about this, do send a mail to support[at]whogohost.com and we would be glad to explain further

Just for the records; we would like to clarify to the general public the true state of matters as relating to this matter.

1. We are not scammers neither are we fraudsters. We have worked hard to provide the best services to our clients, and that has helped us grow to become the largest hosting company in Nigeria, according to www.webhosting.info/webhosts/tophosts/Country/NG. We are also a registered limited liability company and our track record speaks for us.

2. While we understand that you paid for a service you have not received, calling a company "fraud" or "total scam" is uncalled for, especially considering the discussions that our team had with you relating to this matter.

3. You indeed contacted our support staff late last year to ask about our Interswitch payment gateway. Unfortunately, there was a misunderstanding as the support staff that attended to you thought you were referring to the QuickTeller payment gateway which you may use to process payment. When we found out there was a misunderstanding, we wrote to you and called you to apologise for the misunderstanding and to clarify the matter.

4. You insisted on a refund stating that your management no longer needed the service and we refunded you promptly.

5. You eventually paid again for the service and we were glad to have you back. You also sent all the documents required for you, one of which was a signed document from your bank. Your bank however refused to provide you with a merchant ID, which is a standard requirement for Interswitch WebPay Classic, stating that you provided a personal bank account and not a business account.

6. We contacted you, explaining same, and you then requested for a refund, again.

7. We explained that we had paid Interswitch for the same service and a refund would not be an easy matter. When we contacted Interswitch, they requested that you send a letter on your letterhead to us, which we would then send to them, requesting for a cancelation of the said service since the process had already begun. We never requested that you contact Interswitch directly.

8. Due to the fact that payment was made around the holiday period, communication was stalled with all parties concerned, which led to the delay in responding to this matter.

9. As of this writing, Interswitch has called you to explain the situation and the refund has been initiated. Interswitch tried calling several times before but your number was not available. Note that this was already in the works and would have been completed without this smear campaign.

As Interswitch resellers, we offer Interswitch solutions at discounted prices while requesting for fewer documentations than would be required if you contact Interswitch directly. The process is also swifter working with us as we act as middlemen to hasten the process. While we understand that you were anxious to get your funds back, we have proven in the past that we could refund your funds if it was a simple matter.

Thank you for your patience while this was being resolved. If you have any other inquiries, do contact us using our official channels on https://www.whogohost.com/contact-us.php

LoadedHost:
Hi,
We need a .ng Reseller Provider in Nigeria or anywhere! Just .ng alone, not general reseller, in order to provision .com.ng and the .ng TLD.
Requirements:
REST HTTP API for instant Provisioning
Prepaid Billing
Instant Setup and Availability after payment
Real-time accurate Availability checker(Not the one which shows its available when it is not.. I know a few sites. Wont mention names)
Control panel to manage domain names!
At least $8.89/year or less
Online payment support for payment of domain names e.g PayPal, 2co or whatever!
If you are a company that can provide this, please email us sales@loadedhost.com or email me racin.d@loadedhost.com
Thanks,
Racin Denis!

Hello,

Our domain reseller packages would be ideal for you (https://www.whogohost.com/domains/domain-reseller.php). We have a rich API system which you may integrate to your system. You may visit https://www.whogohost.com/host/knowledgebase/35/Domain-Reseller-API-Configuration-Guide for more details regarding this. If you use WHMCS to provision your other TLDs, we also have a domain registrar module that you can easily install on your WHMCS system. All you need to do is choose to register only .ng domain names using the API/registrar module.

If you have any inquiries about this, feel free to send us a mail via technical@whogohost.com and we would be glad to assist you with this.
