Food / Re: How To Enjoy Alcohol Without Getting Drunk by wildgunman: 3:38pm On Aug 08, 2008 |
Phillip my friend, u know nothing about alcohol. You may be a drinker, but it's possible to drive without knowing what's under the bonnet. SET UR LIMITS- sure, like u said everyone has different tolerance levels, that's why a limit has to be set in the 1st place. One bottle for those who get drunk at one, more for the shayo masters. But of course, guys tend to exaggerate their drinking capacity, and to set ever higher targets for themselves. SLOW DOWN- this is strictly biology & physiology. Alcohol is broken down by the liver, and you get drunk on the 'excess' that is floating around in ur system waiting to be flushed out. The liver handles approx 2-3 units ( 1 star or small stout) every hour, so if you drink at this rate then you are likely to be only minimally affected. And sure, u can drink a whole lorry-load without getting drunk, that is if u can drink at 1 bottle per hour. Would take u maybe 2 years. The article u're lambasting was well written and full of simple hard facts- so well written in fact that i'm sure it was lifted from the Net. So choose- either read and learn how to drink, or drink on in ignorance. |
Fashion / Re: Charisma Glow- How Good Is It Compared To Mary Kay Eventone Cream by wildgunman: 12:26pm On May 27, 2008 |
Izog, Just allow ur skin to" heal". Use a mild moisturizer. I'll tell u something straight from the heart: u might not be really pleased with ur complexion during the "transition" period but it's all 4 d best. After which u can find a safe toning cream to settle 4. Take care! |
