I have koan KSC660HD and my neighbor owns a strong 4669x. I discover that koan has a very poor video quality as compared with strong 4669x. koan produces pictures that are somehow reddish and not sharp. green colour reproduction is the worst hit(when watch on an LCD screen). I was thinking of Upgrading to a new decoder be it SD or HD. Has any one in the forum experimented with picture qualities of the various decoders using the same source and input.
please kindly advice.

I have the same kaon box, wit aac sound, And excellent picture quality,
The only set back is, i can't track birds wit it because its signal parameters can't be read accurately. Thank you

I was lucky,
I bought mine 11k without dish and lnb. And their premium subscription makin it 21k.

In the near future, i see lots of goodies on tv stations and satellites beams in nigeria.
I took lots of time lookin for satellites to be lunched and beamed in our dear county nigeria and neighbour ghana,
Its very interestin.
Arabsat 5c @20* east to be lunched today, and its c-band beam passed through nigeria .
Next to be lunch is atlantic bird 7 @ 7*west on 22nd of this month,
It now time for big brothers to stop marginalizing us!

place your lnb at 9o'clock.
Stand behind your dish from dstv position.
Raise it up so that it'll face the sky then, move it to your right hand side.
Note- its not d same position wit dstv,
Raise it facin the sky.

i did all i could to track w6, but no way, Wit my 1.8m pan, i was able to get 36degree, 33 and 28 but 21.6 didn't work. My lnb is at 2o'clock, Is there any thing i'm missing? Thank you

bro you know 11900 H 27500 is 93% and 11747 H is also 93% i took it to a place where i sold some decoders they hit 75% with 11900 i fix mine with there dish  and it hit green 0n 12437 but when i come back home is red

check ur disec switch or rather change it.
It has happen to me befor. This is caused by the interference of my c-band lnb.
If i disconnect my c-band from the disec, all the channels will show, but if i put it back, i'll lost rdv signal. What i did was to change the strong lnb to supermax.
Just try and disconnect ur c-band lnb. U'll hit green.

@All, a question. when you put a teflon plate inside the Cband LNB are you able to recieve linear signals as well or do you only recieve circular signals only?

circular signals only, But u can recieve both when u remove it. If u have 2.4m dish and above, Tested and confirmed.
