KingKO22: So, Dimeji Bankole is among the contestants? He has no political value in Ogun State. Ever since he divorced his Yoruba wife and married the Hausa woman, we have not heard about him again. Amosun and Bankole are from Egba. Betrayal is expected. My major headache is Osinbajo from Remo. Osinbajo is the greatest weapon they used against Tinubu. Akarigbo and Awujale should note it. Awolowo spirit will revolt from the grave. Afenifere old man was busy with Ohaneze Ndigbo support and Tinubu's hatred forgetting that something is happening. I am sure he must have woken up now when it is too late. Ojudu should have directed his support to Fayemi his Ekiti brother. Most of the Yorubas who work with the presidency have made big money and felt they can call Tinubu's bluff. They felt they don't need him again. A journalist even claimed they both benefitted from each other, I wept. I have never benefitted one kobo directly or indirectly from Tinubu but I know some of these people before they met Tinubu. A South West governor that was humiliated and chased out of office under Jonathan. He left government house with nothing. Tinubu made him governor that first time. He became broke and jobless. He became an unofficial PA to Tinubu during the APC battle against Jonathan. Now, he has made money and decamped from Tinubu side. He is in power now. I cannot join politics. Only Oshiomhole remained with Tinubu. The same assistance Tinubu rendered to Oshiomhole was what he rendered to Segun Mimiko of Ondo State. Mimiko never kept the agreement immediately he got power. My advice to them is to drop Tinubu's Broom and change APC' s logo to remove ACN colour of Green White Blue and the Broom. God bless them. 2 Likes |

Sleekfingers: Adamu Garba knows what happened. He is very experienced. In 2014, we were on social media fighting seriously on the side of APC. We never knew it is going to be like this. We never knew it is going to end like this. I have said it severally before I was banned that left to me, no delegate from Ogun State should vote for Osinbajo. Especially delegates from Ijebu land, none of them should vote for Osinbajo. Akarigbo and Awujale should understand me. Baba Awolowo spirit in the grave also understand me. It is not in our characters. History will not forgive him. I believe the Ijebus on nairaland also know what I am saying. |

Malory: You have no point. Nairaland moderators keep banning people with knowledge to allow political mediocre to have a field day. Having said the above, what has yesterday's speech got to do with issues on ground? What he said was the truth. What is insatiable greed? To contest election, is it an insatiable greed? The first accusation against Abiola was insatiable greed? Please could you explain better ? What is entitlement mentality? Is he not entitled to contest? Did he stops other contestants? Please, answer me let me lecture you. Firstly, a man that met Pa Tanko Yakassai, traditional rulers, stakeholders in different states for support cannot be said to have entitlement mentality. He has never told Buhari that he should be the sole or consensus candidate. Just answer me , we can start from there. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Yves4real: Babachir Lawal, That is your cup of tea. When Buhari has no money, no power, no confidence and above all no health. Tinubu staked his life and substance for him. At the heat of election, when PDP campaign was very hot. Buhari was nowhere to be found for several weeks. PDP proclaimed him dead. PDP, especially Fayose asked APC to produce him. It was Tinubu who kept the campaign. There are other supporters (Atiku spent money , but behind). Tinubu led the battle with his BROOM which he brought from ACN to APC. Your sister, the first lady started campaign against Jonathan's wife on Tinubu's advice and support. Being a President is not by force, but everybody must be given a chance. Friendship in your area is quite different from friendship in Yoruba land. Yoruba man can die for his friend. Adekunle Fajuyi paid supreme price for Aguiyi Ironsi. Tambuwal and Gbajabiamila, also Tambuwal and Wike taught us a lesson. We are just learning a lesson about the death of Abiola. A man pushed to the wall will reveal all. Tinubu has nothing to lose, rather the present youths have more to learn from history. Babachir Lawal, after Primary, tell Adamu to change APC's logo and APC will stop to use the Broom as its Symbol of Political Authority. Dropping that Broom is the end of APC. That BROOM belongs to ACN. That BROOM is Asiwaju Tinubu's simbol of ingenuity, courage and resilience. Divine power ultimately, has a way of dealing with those who reward goodwill with evil. Bye. |

BabaO2: The Broom belongs to Tinubu. That Broom between the green white blue ACN colours is the most conspicuous on the APC logo. That Broom which is APC symbol of political authority belongs to ACN. That Broom represents Tinubu's ingenuity, courage and resilience. When God says let us create man in our own image, it is also a coalition, but we know who carries the load. I believe, after Primary, Adamu will change APC's logo and APC will stop to use the Broom as its Symbol of Political Authority. Dropping that Broom is the end of APC. Divine power ultimately, has a way of dealing with those who reward goodwill with evil. 1 Like |

All those governors and Presidential aspirants should drop Tinubu's Broom. That Broom, which is APC's symbol of Political authority belongs to Tinubu. That Broom is a symbol of Tinubu's ingenuity, courage and resilience. That Broom belongs to ACN and not CPC or PDP. |

Nbote: 17 governors cannot change democracy rules. 17 governors is just a propaganda statement. I can only believe them when they change APC logo and return the Broom. That Broom, a symbol of APC political authority belongs to ACN. That Broom belongs to Asiwaju Tinubu and not Buhari. Buhari did not bring Broom from CPC to APC. Whatever Tinubu says is the truth. You have no point until the Broom is dropped. I believe, after Primary, Adamu will change APC's logo and APC will stop to use the Broom as its Symbol of Political Authority. Dropping that Broom is the end of APC. Divine power ultimately, has a way of dealing with those who reward goodwill with evil. 2 Likes 1 Share |

INEC extended deadline because of APC. If such request had come from PDP, would INEC have extended the deadline? No. This is not a democracy. Everybody keeps quiet because everybody knows the reason for the extension. APC extended deadline because of Tinubu. INEC is not independent. Judiciary is not independent. It seems as if everybody is in captivity , some to Buhari, others to envy , jealousy and hatred of Tinubu. Captivity divided by interest against Tinubu and fear of the unknown because of Buhari. On social media, 90% of political discussion is about Tinubu in a country of 100 million political active citizens. A man that was born just one day by a very poor and unknown woman in a very lowly environment and circumstances. Tribes or nation (non- independent) or millions would hate him while others love him. That is divine providence. The screening result has nothing to do against providence. Adamu, an old man expected to be above the board brought Oyegun as the screening chairman. Adamu came from PDP. Oyegun came to APC through ACN. The Broom which the APC is using belongs to ACN. That Broom belongs to Tinubu. I believe, after Primary, Adamu will change APC's logo and APC will stop to use the Broom as its Symbol of Political Authority. Dropping that Broom is the end of APC. Divine power ultimately, has a way of dealing with those who reward goodwill with evil. |

LukasPodolski: Thanks for this very educative write up. I believed a lot of people did not know the situation at Ilorin apart from Alfas claiming superiority over one another and big Alfas declaring support for politicians. Thanks for this information. |

oyatz: Breaking down the history of the Royal families in Spain and UK which you mentioned will take a lot of space and time. It has nothing to do with Ilorin situation. Since Ilorin is not complaining, they should remain where they are and not scuttle Oduduwa Nation struggle with their Islamic mercenaries mission with their Islamic brothers in Yoruba land. I don't know anything about how the Fulani became the ruler of Bida - Tapa people of Niger State, please, kindly give me a reference or link to Books or Historical materials on Bids. 2 Likes |

LukasPodolski: You misunderstood this guy. Because of Afonja which had become Igbo or IBO social media name for the Yorubas, if they mention Emir, he was only referring to Ilorin where nearly all the wealth of Kwara is invested leaving Igbomina and other lands underdeveloped. It is very hard and impossible to believe Emir is just a mere religious title when Olusola Saraki travelled to Sokoto to report Late Rear Admiral Lawal (Kwara Governor 1999 - 2003) to Maccido the then Sultan of Sokoto that he wanted to install Oba at Ilorin. Apart from Afonja descendants and Idi Ape people, most Yorubas in Ilorin claim they are Fulani at Abuja and in the North, when they come to Lagos, they claim Yoruba. Of recent, Yorubas in Kogi and part of Kwara said they want to join South West. The Okun people and the Igbomina are welcomed. The Ilorin people with their Alfas are more deadly Muslims coming to empower MURIC and other Muslim organizations to scuttle Oduduwa Republic freedom. You are one of them. 3 Likes |

luluman:Nobody is coercing anybody to support Oduduwa nation freedom from slavery. Not all Israelites supported leaving Egypt, not all South Africans supported Mandela & Oliver Tambo to free South Africans from Apartheid at the beginning. We don't need your support. Majority of Yorubas directly and indirectly supported Oduduwa Republic. No developmental decision because of unitary system of government. People are selling their ancestors land to eat, boys into Yahoo, girls into olosho, education means nothing, while corruption has become our characters. 60 years anniversary, Nigeria's Annual Budget is almost the same with University of California's Annual Budget. UCLA is not constructing roads or railway lines or providing Health care or Water resources or constructing gas pipelines, the University is not maintaining National Assembly budget, their budget is just for Education and Research, yet almost equal or at times more than Nigeria Budget. We all know the solution. 2 Likes |

LukasPodolski: I have been monitoring your foolish and very irrational comments. You can only confuse yourself and your employers. You started with Emir of Ilorin as a mere religious title. Previously, you made very absurd comments. My political opinions handle - BABAOLOFIN is currently suspended by nairaland, otherwise, I would have spared my time to respond to some foolish and useless comments and yours included. Majority of the Yorubas directly and indirectly supported the creation of Oduduwa nation. If the North wants to leave Nigeria today, no region in the South will force them to remain, the South will be very excited and the North knows this, but they cannot leave. They need the South crude oil wealth, Sea Ports and Lagos markets to enrich themselves, develop the chad basin oil, railway networks to Niger Republic, roads network on very large and long distances, gas pipelines, agriculture, gas and hydro power generations and the Northern States economy. To do this, Nigeria has to be impoverished, backward and caged using their large unproductive population. They have to prevent the South from leaving them. The North knows the South South and South East are not happy being in Nigeria, they are using their Muslims in the West and Political dichotomy in Yoruba land to perpetually enslaved the South. The North can never allow the South East or South West to go individually, the South must be united to move out of this slavery. The North will try to prevent the united South using the Yoruba Muslims and politics. To the North, no part of South should leave until the developmental projects in the North are completed. To the South, the North can go. . The problem is for South to leave, it is now a matter of life and death, a matter of Israelites leaving the Egyptians, a matter of slaves leaving the slave masters. No slave master ever wanted his slaves freed. No easy way to freedom. Some Israelites were comfortable being slaves to the Egyptians and they always blamed Moses while in the wilderness for taking them out of Egypt. The Muslims in Yorubaland are under the control of the Caliphate just as Emirs are also under the Caliphate. The Supreme Council for Sharia in Nigeria had an impossible ambition of introducing Sharia in Four States in the South West. Majority of the people in South West will resist them. These people (Muslims) and political contractors are too minute and very inconsequential to stop Oduduwa Republic. You may be nairaland assigned person or the Muslim or government delegated person on this topic, you are just wasting your time. 5 Likes |

LukasPodolski: You are not a yoruba. You are a northerner or one of those under the control of the Caliphate through Islam. You are very inconsequential. Majority of the Yorubas directly and indirectly support Oduduwa Republic. What stops the North from leaving Nigeria? They cannot leave because of south South and South East crude oil and because of Lagos ports and markets. 9 Likes |

NaMeAboki: So IBO and Yoruba leaving Nigeria is complex, what about if it is Hausa and Fulani that are leaving? If Hausa are leaving, nobody will force them to stay and it does not require violence, why is IBO and Yoruba leaving Nigeria now a matter of war? 1 Like |

flyingpig: The Sharia Council in Nigeria is being deceived thinking they have four Islamic States in South West. The North as Slave master never wanted the slaves to be freed. MSS is the students wing of MURIC. They are very inconsequential when it comes to Oduduwa Republic. The Muslims in South West are against Amotekun, but in year 2000 when Buhari with ACF leaders and trucks loaded with Hausa Thugs invaded Oyo State Governor's office to harrass and intimidate Governor Lam Adesina over the killings of Fulanis at Shaki, the Muslims kept quiet. Can a Yoruba leader invade Kaduna State Government House to harrass Kaduna State Governor? 5 Likes |
