Let me share a similar experience.

It happened that for some reason for abt 3-Sundays I consistently contributed to donation being raised in church for a project. Along the line, a new babe in church had been giving me green light but I've been acting indifferent.

One of my principles in life is not to look down on my fellow man. I have never treated people you might consider below me badly.
