Priapus69:
The Earth is a sphere that rotates around its axis while the sun is stagnant. Since the earth is a sphere, sunlight cannot reach every side at the same time, so which ever side faces the sun, that part automatically gets daylight (sunlight).
Since the earth is spherical, it has 360 degrees. Divide 360 by 24(hours) it equals 15 degrees. If you chose a point latitude 0, longitude 0 you arrive at a point lets call it meridian. The countries that are on the line fall under GMT +0
Every country that is 15 degrees off the meridian becomes GMT +1, and so on until you get all 24 time zones. The GMT +1, +2 etc indicate how much time should be added to GMT +0 .

Full time: Liverpool 4-0 Wolves
Liverpool move back to second in the table, behind Spurs on goal difference, after thrashing Wolves in front of 2,000 very happy supporters.

Mo Salah, Gini Wijnaldum, Joel Matip and Nelsen Semedo got the goals, and there could have been more. Liverpool were not quite at their blistering best, the extraordinary Andy Robertson aside, yet they still battered a decent Wolves side 4-0.

THE ANFIELD RECORD STILL STANDS

Can't be too sure about winning Arsenal these days. Only way I can be sure is if Klopp is giving a midfield of Thiago, Keita and Henderson with a False 9 Bobby serious training drills on how to break defence through the middle and not always waiting for a Trent or Robbo cross. If because Kepa and Jorginho handed us a win today we think we're good to go na lie o. The chances we created were not clear cut at all and Arsenal maintain a very annoying low line of defense worse than Chelsea and they do it very well. West Ham probably had to play the same formation as Arsenal because they didn't know what to do so I really hope I see a different Liverpool next week Monday. It's humiliating losing to Arsenal.
You are correct, just hope for the best that day

Nigerians should stop voting people for second tenure. Once you are done with one tenure, out with the old, in with the new. That way, politicians may sit up. This will help even if it may not totally solve the problem, it will be a good place to start.

If it is because doctors can not think that is why they are wanted in the US and UK, then allow them not to think and go to where they can be accepted without a thinking head. Thank you

Is that not what GREEDY DOCTORS are doing running away from the PROBLEM?

Have you seriously seen the academic schedule and classes of your overseas peers BEFORE complaining of how difficult it is?
There are some European universities where you have intake of 40, and only half finish. The others drop out. So this is universal everywhere. Medical standards must be HIGH, so you don't have substandard care. The SELFISH people here are DOCTORS.

TELL US the salary expenditures, you no fit do. You are giving your relatives all your MONEY, AND then you complain that the salary is not enough while the PATIENT dey die.

They are running away from the problem because there are people like you that can slove it

What are you saying? So people that went to private universities can not work in public service? I just hope you are thinking. The road to your destination does not matter as long as you get to where you are going to. Whether private or public university, a doctor is a doctor!

If that is what you want, then compute the data and state the figure to be paid, when they go abroad, they work and pay the government the chicken money, instead of being held hostage in this hopeless country. End of story.

I think some folks are just jealous because of the acceptability of Nigerian doctors abroad. They wish their profession would have same demand abroad so they can leave too, but since it is not so, they cry fowl. Nigerians are always against their fellows progress. Anybody that wants to leave Nigeria for a better life should leave. What about footballers that are going abroad to ply their trade? why

no way i rather be in oil and gas ......if u must study mbbs and run away u must pay the market price from your father salary not my tax contributions.......i cannot be funding your sorry ass via tax then u pick u big head and be working for uk citizen's ....how much did they contribute to your mbbs program in Nigeria .....asu is on strike to revamp universities where would this money come from ...uk citizens or Nigeria tax payers .u are our investements (via tax) and subject to scrutiny....
Bros please nobody asked the government to subsidize education. Do you know how much doctors in oil and gas are earning? Why did you not ask them to go and work for Nigerian government since they were trained with subsidy? As long as you are a Nigerian you have the access to same subsidy benefit. Allow people that want to use theirs as they please to do so. Stop complaining. NYSC is enough and its all they deserve. Why did you not stop them from using your tax money for going on medical trips abroad? If the country wants to get more out of doctors or want then to stay and practice in Nigeria, they know what to do. Until then, let the migration continue biko.

How do they help financially? .....a local govt chairman pay hospital bills ,weddibg ceremony, school fee,and all bills ,how about doctors ur salary is only for u and family .....

Why so much fuss about medical doctors leaving this shithole country? Other professionals are leaving in droves everyday and nobody is bad mouthing them. As far as am concerned, what you pay for in medical school is exactly what you get, no quality in medical education system in Nigeria except you intentionally build yourself to international standard. Nothing like subsidy, subsidy itself is a scam, just like in other areas e.g petroleum. Nurses are leaving, no one is complaining, pharmacist are leaving no one is complaining, engineers are leaving, no one is complaining, even a house help would leave if they have the opportunity, not to talk of a revered profession like medicine. Biko, any one that wants to leave should leave, there's freedom of movement. Politicians should stop going abroad for treatment if they believe they have subsidized medical training and Nigerian doctors practicing in Nigeria are quality doctors that can take care of them. Until then, present the opportunity and every Nigerian trained doctor would leave, except the dumb ones. grin cheesy grin grin
