If you feel the money is way expensive, just wait. I think someone may not be attending that way you still get you offer but do make sure you keep disturbing them. But if the 8500 euro will give you 50%, it may not be bad after all. Good luck.

the other school said my name was in their waiting list and usually the only way you’d be admitted if your name is in waiting list is if does that were given admission don’t pay their fees or they don’t accept the admission btw the admission fee is 6000 euro with 50% waiver

Me too, bro. I'm waiting for some other offers elsewhere. From early next month I will know if I am going. I've accepted their offer because their tuition waiver and fee is better than the other waiver I got from other schools.
Alfred2000:

Congratulations. That makes us two as i also got admitted to same program. Hope we can link up soon..

I think most schools demand for it. Check the university you are interested in to know if it can be waived.

IMHO, the money is on the high side. If I were you, I would have waited to hear from the other school to know if there is any tuition waiver, except you can afford it. What is the tuition fee for the second university?

TinaOkwue:
Hello everyone, I’m new here and would really appreciate your contributions.
I applied for two universities in Finland (Nursing Science)I wrote the entrance exam for Centria university of applied sciences and Novia university of applied science and to be honest I would have preferred Novia because it’s more affordable but unfortunately I wasn’t getting a response from Novia University and I had to send them an email, they responded that my name is on the waiting list.I don’t know what that implies or how long I have to wait,But then I got admitted into Centria university of applied science and it’s a bit expensive (8500 euro)I’m somehow confused if I should wait for Novia university or just go ahead and accept the Centria university.

I have done that, bro. I did get some info about jobs in Finland but nothing specific on Joensuu. I was looking at how far off from the center and far east the place is and the the population size. Anyways, I am still expecting other offers elsewhere though their scholarship and tuition is better overall compared to the others I'm having currently. Good luck with your application.

Alfred2000:

U could search on YouTube about student part time jobs in Finland. I am sure that can help answer some of your questions.

In addition, you should first check if the university have your program if you are not applying this specific course. Besides, you may have to wait for when next the application opens again, which should be Dec 1st. Cheers
bishophenry:

Go to the university site or studyinfo.fi

Search for the course you will love to do.
The application is divided into two : joint application and separate application.

You can get better understanding using studyinfo.fi

Fill the required form and also attach the required documents, that's all.

In University of eastern Finland some courses don't need ielts test.

Best wishes

Congratulations bro. What course and Uni? Are you on scholarship? If yes, which level of scholarship did you get? Is there an option for people to apply for Visa so early or is the application from last year?
