Good day everyone, wonderful thread and my appreciation to everyone sharing information on this thread.I want to ask how long it takes for the Brazil consulate to acknowledge application. I submitted my application via their website last week Saturday and I am yet to get an acknowledgement of my application. Because I read on this page that one is supposed to get an email stating application in being reviewed. I read somewhere that it's supposed to be within 48hrs, I don't know if this had changed. Thank you |

eksbabe:
Hi moms! Please I need your help. A new mom just discovered that her baby has clubfoot. Can anyone share insights on how its treated and where treatment can be made. Location is Lagos. We will also appreciate pointers in how to go about it, if you don't want to talk about it here please just send me a pm or ask for me to send a pm whichever one is fine by me. Please its urgent. Thanks a lot. It is can be treated easily. Tell the mother to go to Lasuth or Luth. Orthopedic doctors are the specialists involved. I have seen babies that were treated and you wont even know they had any issues before. 2 Likes |

ochis24: You can use a clean wet towel to clean the tongue. If it is milk residue, it should come off easily. But if it isn't coming off, then let a doctor check your child to rule out oral candidiasis. 1 Like |

Nimi22: I will advise you go back to the hospital you delivered as soon as you can so your obstetrician would check you properly as a mother as already suggested. It can be caused by that area being infected or the suture is off. You can take pain relief for the pains, it can really be painful. Pelé 1 Like |

JukkyB: You can give your Lo pap and puree's at 4months. Fruits like avocado pear, carrot (should be cooked before blending). Some companies produce cereals for 4months, I can't remember their names but you can check online or other sabi mamas would help you with their names. Also check one of our mama's blog (alphandmaiden) for more information. It was really helpful to me, God bless her . For the rash, I noticed whenever i use baby oil on my lo's face he develops rashes, so I stopped. So check if there is anything you might be doing that brings on the rash. Well done mama. |
