Foreign Affairs / Re: US House Of Reps Vote To Condemn Trump's Racist Comments Against Congresswomen by xedos(m): 5:01pm On Jul 17, 2019
CAN ANYONE HERE ME?

I'm 34years old, my mother was everything i had, she had when she was very young. My father travelled to the US when I was 3 months old and they never got married. He resurfaced when i was 16 and wanted to take me away with him and i just finishes secondary school. I was the only child of my mother so he did a Permanent residence which i got but my mum didn't allow me to leave as she didn't want me to leave here as she was still inlove with my father and didn't show any sign of settling down or wanting us as a family. He got angry and left back to the US abandoning us. My mother was business woman and didn't have alot to send me to the University. I was determined that i see myself studying abroad so i jumped into the street to see how i could achieve my dreams, then 10years passed so 2months before i luckily i got a scholarship to study in tbe UK, my mum died at the age of 44. It was a had time for me, so burried her with the help of her siblings and journeyed to the UK. I did a BSc and an Msc there and came back to Nigeria. Oh! yes there policies were strict in getting a job as a foreigner as we were at the bottom of the pecking order and i didn't want to be an illegal as i have seen those who are live. While i was in the UK my father contacted me that he would want me to join him in the US when am done. So he reopened the case file that was closed almost 20 years ago in 2012. So since i was way above 16 as at then, i wasn't a priority anymore based on the visa monthly quota allocated to Africans of US citizens. It took another 7years for it to get to my turn. Earlier this year i was contacted by the NVC for visa processing. Ever since i came back to Nigeria i have been unble to get a job for about 6years, as i write this i could rarely feed myself. This is a frustrated country where the best brains die of starvation, i have never been called back after an interview due to no connection or the weight of my CV to interviers, which is the other of the day in this country. Back to the NVC i was told by them that i need to do my medicals, police clearance and the renewal of my passport. When i notified my father abouy it he said he had given the NVC every papers needed which they also confirmed that i can sort the rest as a big boy. My brothers and sisters am not a lazy man with two hands and legs even if i can get any sort of opportunity to do any job to help with this process i am willing. Anything that you can help i will be honoured as i have been abandoned to my fate. I wouldn't like to ask you for your hard earned cos i will also take joy in getting my own. But if you can help me i would gladly pay back, i know this country is full of scams and its so hard to know who is real and who is fraudulent so i wouldn't fault anyone that reads anf discards. My mother or father's family are not well to do and can't help instead they expect help from me. I will provide with necessary details if you wish. I NEED YOUR HELP!

A lot people don't know what feminism is all about, using it carelessly .... Just spoilt the whole speech with that word. Do you hear men say... "As a male-Chauvinist" bla blah blah... We that i don't think she is intelligent enough or people around her.

Benekruku:
Tonto is depressed!

She needs help.

Her case is a very rare case of depression where majority try to see the victim as a fighter but professionals will tell you he/she is already giving-in.

The only rehab she needs now is just Churchill being at her side. She loves the guy madly and cant still believe he left her. Thats the foundation of her trauma, bitterness, agony, pain, sickness and hate.

ACRIMONY you mean ?? smiley

Nairaland / General / Re: Awkward Ways Some Lagosians Urinate On The Street (PHOTOS) by xedos(m): 4:50pm On Jun 17, 2019
This is a natural occurrence as humans, around the world, but we have forsaked our environment because of greed. Otherwise if streets are reasonably neat, waste and drainages properly cared for it will take an idiot to pee anywhere he likes, in other you are not suppose to be walking among us. If you are too pressed to urinate, there is nothing wrong asking the corner shop man or a fast food eatery and use their loo, most times people are happy to help with things like that. because of the neatness of the streets abroad, you will feel like its an abormination to pee on there.
