Politics / Re: As Seen On Twitter: Igbos Own The Dot. To Their Chest by xelly: 11:40am On Jun 12, 2021
Buhari's words are not really encouraging and stand undefendable.

How about saying that there is no job?

One can graduate with the best grade and die without job?

Does he know the message he is passing to students and youth?

What is he says:

"I encourage everyone to be committed to learning for there is hope, the strength of the nation is on the youth with good education and vast knowledge, I am certain that we will get there. "

How assuring is this than what he said

Buhari need to check his attitude and make changes.

Politically, Yes! Igbo people aren't smart at all when it comes to politics. You don't apply the same logic you apply in business to politics. It doesn't work..

And look, Buhari doesnt hate the Igbos. He has done more for the Igbos in terms of infrastructural development than the PDP which they worship has done for them in its 16years of wastefulness

I guess the more you meant is the ones you haven't seen but heard?

Can you list them? Meanwhile, Igboman want equity not selfish ambition. Let what is mated for Mr A be for Mr B as well.

I'm a Yoruba but I can tell you its ignorance and illiteracy that caused that....excluding religions.

I believe you 100%. Most crime is as a result of ignorant. That is the reason why National Orientation Agency need to up her game.

It would have been nice to tag it a Yoruba thing if they have a culture that promotes that or it is done on open without condemnation.

This is not kind and not a time to joke as the whole Yorubas did not engage in this crime. I have hardworking Yoruba friends and this is a big insult to their sincere hustle.

The perpetrator should be punished accordingly. Where is the National Orientation Agency? They need to teach people on the need to work hard.

Clap for yourself, SE is landlocked, Edo is in SS, and Abia is in SE. Since SE is landlocked, support their exit from Nigeria.

Dubai has seaport but in desert. Impossibility is as a result of laziness. Nature can not give you everything.

Saifullah01:
That is blatant distortion. I watched the interview. why not discuss issues, salient ones he raised;

1.Governors were elected so they shouldn't expect the center to solve everything
2. Why have the governors killed the Local Governments
3. Rather than complaining about debt why not discuss how any country can develop without infrastructure
4. average crude production was around 2million bpd and average price of $100 between 1999 to 2014. Yet no roads no rail no power. compare that with average production and price of the last 6 year. How do you expect us to fund infrastructure
5. On the Kano - maradi (Nigeria - Niger) railway and road. Niger just discovered oil - we expect Nigeria to be their route for exports (sea). Do we want Benin republic to get that business (Buhari' word)

This are just some of the issues he raised in the discussions, but trust Nigerian media - sensational sound bites and frivolity is what they will highlight.

I think our problem is we always want someone to blame for our problems

Have they power to deploy the Police or Army?
That is just saying what you don't know.

Saifullah01:
Although true he said that, but I feel punch is emphasising the sensational part over the economic reason he provided which is a fair point.

Niger has no access to the sea and if Nigeria gets its act together infrastructurallyn, we will be the preferred route for Nigerien oil (and uranium). Imagine the attendant jobs and revenue that will accrue to Nigeria as a result of this. Not to speak of the geopolitical influence.

China is currently reviving the ancient silk road that connected East Asia and Southeast Asia with South Asia, Persia, the Arabian Peninsula, East Africa and Southern Europe through road constructions, seaport development, railways etc. in central Asia countries, Pakistan, Iran and even Europe (read about it)

If Nigeria were to get her acts right we should be reviving the ancient trans-Sahara trate routes strategically building influence in the countries that currently occupy those routes (Timbuktu, Agades, Tripoli etc) non of these North African countries or middle eastern countries would have "nothing on us". But we are to busy fighting ourselves to see the potential in ourselves

Do you have railways in Nigeria? You give out when you have enough and have means to control it's effect.

TB Joshua can afford to create a social app like Oyakhilome so nothing spoil. This government can not ban internet because it will affect them badly. Even the almighty China that restricted access to Facebook and YouTube still have it's citizens bypassing it.

China have alternative to whatever they ban.

How can you be challenging Jack of $60 billion? What does he stand to gain from Buhari? what is Buhari rated in the world? Mention Great people in the world and tell where you will find Buhari.

Buhari is attracting hatred to himself and family from allover the world.

The separatist he is against in Nigeria, he promotes in other countries. Now tell me, the leaders of the separatist group has been enbodend that they enjoy free advert from Buhari to the International community and the action of the president stand convince to perceived doubt. What is Buhari fighting?

Nigerians should know that the ban is not because of Kanu but because of the news of protest on 12th of this month.

to and fro is the default setting of Nigeria.

Making rules without thinking of its consequences. That is how they chased all my Ghanaian customers only to revert when they found a new means. It use to be twice in a week, mile 2 to Ghana.

Shoprite is running, economy is crashing yet the government can't examine what they are doing.

Tell me if this is how to rule a country, G-d forbid Buhari.

You people are very funny.

So you actually think a furious Nigeria will allow an estimated 20 million Igbos to still remain in Nigeria doing their business with no wahala?

Hahahahaha

I laugh in Vietnamese.

Dude, you will become FOREIGNERS in Nigeria.

ILLEGAL ALIENS.

You will be deported en masse to the south east.

Those of you lucky to remain will have to show your papers to Nigerian police daily, with egunje on top.

Every bit as you are a foreigner in Ghana or South Africa, where awon boys can just round you up and beat you up with no repercussions, you will be a foreigner in Nigeria.

That 1 million dollars per Igbo trader Ghana were charging you before Buhari came to your rescue, they will triple it to 3 million dollars in Naija.

The minute you pass that Onitsha bridge, na Naija customs, police, army and immigration service una go face. And boy, do they know how to make things difficult.

To be quite honest, you guys would be fcked.

You would just be like the Palestinians on the Gaza Strip, only difference being that yours was a self-imposed prison.

Don't be a lazy youth. Use the time and effort you dedicated to ill thoughts to think out solutions that will solve mankind's myrid problems which will in return put smiles on your face.

Soon Samsung will come with a flagship and you will rush to buy. Samsung is not owned by allien, human own it. The difference is on the use of time, mind and brain.

The south south and Southwest produce more oil than the south east.

South east produce less than 2% of Nigeria's oil. I posted the stats the other day here. Even Ondo state, Osun state, and Lagos state produce more oil than the south east.

Are you asking with a clear conscience or just as a troll?

Some Nigerians have renounced their citizenship to Nigeria while some have dual citizenship. Maybe the people you are referring to have done same as well.

Are they the problems in Nigeria?

Can you spot the difference?

Gulak was killed by the Airforce. News has it that Unknown Gun Men attacked and killed two of the officers, then the Airforce went on rampage killing anyone they see. That was the same day Gulak's lifeless body was discovered along the airport road which is the same place that the Airforce officers was killing everyone they see.

Report has it that a fully loaded passenger bus has all passengers killed.

They are my first suspect over the death of Gulak. second is political and third those gun wielding miscreants.

I observed that most people in the SE are sympathetic to ESN and support their killing of security operatives. It is evident by the way they jubilate at news of attacks, they are terrorist by heart. However for security agencies to pick you up for questioning, you must have said something that interests them and they wanna hear more, or your name came up somewhere and they wanna hear from you.
At least, they aren't shooting them like Iheajerika soldiers were doing to Borno youth.

They spoke in Igbo language, I guess you do not understand it. The man said that the police and soldier entered the market and opened fire not on air but pointing at people. They also shattered the vehicles parked and took money in the car, stabbed someone with knife and took them away.
