Artistry is a gift that keeps on giving. I think this is the reason Asahbara Art centre keeps giving their uncommon breed of creativity to the world through their handcrafted artworks and industrial designs. Located within the Maitama Amusement Park, Asahbara pride itself on genuine and authentic, handcrafted African artworks. There are varieties of artworks in the centre like the talking mugs such as No Wahala, Suru Lere, The Gele Girls, Longer Throat cups and soup bowls, and lots more. With all pieces of the artwork embedded with the Nigerian Flag. It is a way of saying, there are still good stuffs in Nigeria; there is smart, quality, and genius in Nigeria. Below is the video that captures the whole experience there. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VuVBqyT096E cc. lalasticlala

It rises up behind the Presidential Complex, which houses the residence and offices of the Nigerian president in the Three Arms Zone on the eastern edge of the city. Visiting the less than three-kilometre hilltop of Oke Maria (Mary's Hill), for the first-timer, is not a child’s play as one needs to take a break along the journey to the mountain top in at least one or two resting places. But despite this, visitors keep thronging this sacred hill, where prayers are answered and solutions are provided to most challenges. The Oke Maria hill has become an annual pilgrimage centre to Catholic and non-Catholic every February. Visitors from Nigeria and abroad come to pay homage to the Blessed Virgin every second week of February. But other people usually visit the place day in day out apart from the annual pilgrimage in February.
