Young man, ask your tribesmen to leave Yoruba out of your sh!t. I don't go shouting Ibo or Biafra in my day to day conversations because that sh!t just ain't worth my time. However, abhorrent behaviour such as yours and the OP's make me want to smack sense into your 1D heads.

And BTW, y'all going nowhere. Try nonsense and see grin

Lies of hypocrisy from deluded and despicable beings to divert attention from the very obvious!

And yet you and your kinsmen have condescended so low as to make a living out of Igbo's quest for nationhood.
Yet many Yorubas are notoriously running amok on every media page with anti-BFR slogans while camouflaging as SE and SS people to be able to market your wicked propaganda and lies against the Igbo Nation.

I shall endeavour to drum it loud and clear into your thick skull; perhaps you'd see reason to channel your negative energies towards Odua Islamic Republic of Ritual-killers and Cannibals.

The mere thought of Biaf... is making many foes and naysayers go insane and some others having terrible nightmares and heartaches.

Arrogance has always been the undoing of your people.

It's your low self esteem that made you lots to always run amok on every media page, whining, weeping and wailing at the mere mention of Biaf...

Yea, I do understand your plight especially since your Yoruba tribe rarely stand for anything!

Nigeria lost more troops yet your whole existence is anchored on victim mentality? If not that you guys won't let us rest with your nonsense, we don't even know you exist. We can't be axxed you do. Leave us out of your bull, like this attention seeking thread with no meaning. But of course you can't, you need our constant attention to feel wanted or relevant.

And you see, freedom is of the mind. No one is holding you down but yourselves. If 90% of y'all have criminal tendencies...thats a big problem. If you lack contentment, that's another issue. Do you have state governments, but choose not to take them to account? Do you constantly support thieves, criminals and appear not to have any semblance of morality/sense of justice? Has throwing tantrums and tribal hate become part of your DNAs? Need I say more... Look inwards man.

And about pay-per-whatever, niccur I can't do that with you, that's beneath me!

Silly lies of hypocrisy to divert attention from the very obvious!

...and yet at the mere mention of Biaf...many of your type whine, weep and wail as if your whole essence in life is being taken away from you!

Is it not a shame that you and your kinsmen currently make a living out of another people's struggle to attempt to quench the call for self-determination?

And here you are grandstanding in futility to assuage your miseries.

CRIMINAL TENDENCIES
The most wanted Nigerians for crimes in the USA are all Yorubas!

...they operate in other shores. Their activities are an embarrassment to all of us. They indulge in crimes for which all of us should flinch. Indeed, the United States Secret Service and narcotics agents have dubbed the

STATE GOVERNMENTS

Which of other governors performed creditably better than Chime Sullivan, Peter Obi or Chris Ngige vis-a-vis the available funds at their disposal?

Indeed Igbos fare better than most tribes who have great federal government investments and the great loots from their elites. The Igbos have the highest concentration of middle-class citizens.
Even with the dwindling crude oil earnings Igbo States are the least affected largely due to the fact that their economy is not crude oil dependent.

Igbos are doing fairly well individually and community-wise. The main problem is the anti-Igbo policies being implemented for the past 45 years, targeting of Igbo economy and businesses, insitutionalised discrimination, Igbo careers in federal institutions, lopsided citing of federal infrastructures and investments, killings of Igbos in non-Igbo States and destruction of Igbo means of livelihoods.
Money is criminally collected from SE/SS people via institutions collectively built with the commonwealth and it is selectively used to give to free education to certain parasitic region.

Have you forgotten that soon after the civil war how you wicked bigots and hypocrites connived and robbed Easterners of their hard earned money in banks and gave £20 to only those who could prove they had bank accounts?

You parasitic ingrates proceeded to use the stolen funds to buy up the numerous companies established by the colonial masters, looting the companies and rendering them bankrupt. And that was the beginning of the collapse of the Nigerian economy. Till date the economy is yet to recover.

Instead of developing the Eastern region after the war subsequent evil governments diverted Gowon’s 3Rs to your regions for rapid development while neglecting and under-developing the Eastern region.

FYI, Imo airport was built by the people of Imo state; almost everyone contributed even little kids to make the airport a reality.

Acknowledge the simple fact that Igbos fare better than your tribe despite your numerous treasury lootings and federal government presence. The Igbos have the highest concentration of middle-class citizens while squalor and penury pervade your enclaves. You can see the reality in the shocking manner many of your States are in comatose with many of its civil servants surviving on the good gestures of concerned Nigerians.

FYI, the Igbo States are the least affected by the falling crude oil earnings. Go and ask Fayose why Ekiti government had to send some of its citizens to the SE to learn a skill/trade in a bid to grow the economy of Ekiti State.

Feed your eyes on Igbos achievements and stop being mischievous and bitter that a people you defrauded and cheated are doing excellently better than your greedy and wicked folks who are sheepishly led by an internationally acclaimed drug peddler cum treasury looter:

How did the breakdown of the working relationship between Ibos and their fulani masters from 1959 - 1966 concerns the Yoruba?

You people fully enjoyed the benefits of aligning with the fulani due to low level education in order to corner most federal appointments. You started crying Yoruba when shits hit the fan and slave and master started killing each other.

Meanwhile thanks for eliminating the fulani imposed with Ibo support, Akintola.

Awolowo opined that Nigeria is a mere geographical expression portraying that Yoruba forbears had the mindset for self-determination but the unstable Yorubas colluded with their Northern masters and picked up arms against Igbos and other Easterners when they had no business doing so.

When Tafawa Balewa and Sadauna of Sokoto were destroying the Yorubas in the 1960s, Nzeogwu and Ifeajuna came to your aid, only for you lots to turn against Igbos, colluded with your Northern masters to massacre helpless women and children in 1966-70.

Cowards say all sorts over the internet. When you call them to task in real life they won't stop bitching about genocide. Were men of the Nigerian army more manly than your Biafran soldiers? Of course they were, because y'all were trumped silly. Next time you pick your battles, don't punch above your weight. Know your place!

Silly talk of hypocrisy from miserable bigots who make a living by pay-per-post basis on another people's struggle!

Nigerian military lost more troops in the fratricidal war of 1967-70:

Nigeria's military strength: 120,000 (1970)
Biafra's military strength: 30,000 (1970)
Casualties:
Nigeria: 25,000 - 50,000 Military vasualties
Biafra: 10,000 - 25,000 Military casualties
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nigerian_Civil_War

Due to the envy and great animosity against the industrious Igbos and their unrivaled success in every aspect of life Yorubas joined hands with Hausa-Fulanis to execute genocide on Igbo civilians.
The pogrom lasted for about 10 months and the war about 3 years but Igbos survived. Igbos fought and died with honor! If push comes to sholve Igbos are not afraid to defend themselves once again!

But not so with the cowardly tribe. Yorubas have never declared independence in their lifetime. Even their dead spirits cannot declare the much needed freedom for their people

Igbos defended themselves against world powers-backed Nigeria and the war lasted about three years but when the big mouthed Yoruba tribe tried their gra-gra in 1993, it did not even last two days.

Yorubas started trouble they could not finish in 1993 using 'June 12' with their Odua Republic in mind and were expecting Igbos to fight their wars; Ralph Obioha and Bobo Nwosisi were the only people around their AareOnaKakanfo MKO Abiola when he declared himself president-elect. The arrogant and cowardly Yoruba tribe couldn't even protect him from being whisked away like a common thief. He was eventually slaughtered like a salah ram.

1. Look at the years you quoted, are you sure everyone reading your comment were born around that period?
2. If you weren't born around that period either, most likely your children and grand children will continue screaming the war songs echoing in your head at the moment.
3. If the Biafra agitations had been more violent than it is now, you would have had a reason to forget 1966-70 and start using on 2016-20XX as the new yardstick for your agitation.
4. If #3 happens, your children and grandchildren would have found a reason to start #1 again, and the whole process repeats itself all over again.
5. Why not just let go of whatever happened in the past and face reality and let your kids grow up to see things the way they are, rather that brainwash them on some past history that have never been articulated?

What has all of this got to do with Pastor Bakare? It appears the title and the body of this thread have nothing in common.

Too much words of emptiness and hypocrisy!

Ever since you were born have Igbos ever gone on rampage, killing people and destroying means of livelihoods for no just cause?

You talked about letting go and yet you wicked lots continue to destroy Igbo business premises and markets in Lagos.

You talked about letting go yet your lagoon crooner would deem it fit to exterminate Igbos if they failed to vote for his anointed gubernatorial candidate in Lagos.

You're not man enough to challenge the marauding herdsmen who maim and kill but you hypocritically and callously call for the brutalisation and killings of IPB members who pose no threat to citizens.

If Yorubas could not forgo 'June 12' yet you and your co-conspirators expect Igbos to forget the millions of Easterners you killed during 1966-70.

After 45 years the FG has reneged on the implementation of the 3Rs to rebuild the Eastern region. But recently the government has begun amassing mega-dollar funds to rebuild the NE even when the Islamists are still bent on causing more carnage and bloodletting.

For many decades the Ore Road remained a death trap such that trailers of goods get tumbled over before they reach Igboland. Igbo businessmen have lost and still losing huge millions of dollars.

You hypocritically mentioned letting go and yet you lots designed an evil system to frustrate Igbos economically and politically.

FG placed evil policies in ministries and government parastatal which compelled Igbos to change their states of origin to guarantee growth and promotions.
Remember the case of an erstwhile police IG who was appointed because he declared Rivers State as his state of origin instead of Imo.

Former VP Alex Ekwueme and Ebutu Ukiwe were relegated to the background. IBB did it. Buhari did it via a coup.

If an Easterner desires to carry out important functions he/she is expected to travel to Abuja or Lagos for something that can be gotten at home.
Some government strategic jobs and portfolios are reserved for a particular section of country. Call a security meeting of the Nigerian nation today and you will see how the SE is strategically excluded from the Army, Navy, Airforce, SSS, police, common civil defense

Aren't you and your ilks so brainwashed to think that Igbos are your problem?

The Business Venture of Lord Lugard being supervised by the Islamic Fulani-led fiefdom, maintained by Hausa born-to-rule hegemony and oiled by Yoruba propaganda and lies is moribund already.
The 102 years of existence is a testament to that verdict.

You and your cohorts have the exclusive rights to label Christians as infidels and even regard some Nigerians as baboon and dog worth soaking in blood.

This is the kind of evil politics you expect the Igbo Nation to continue to tolerate and that is your idea of 'One Nigeria' where you persistently rob Peter to perennially pay parasitic Paul. And Igbos are not willing to self-destruct with you!

Go find yourselves an idea you can live and die for! And leave Igbos out of your miseries!

You fought people were killed on both sides
Now you come and claim you were massacared?

Was it only igbo people that died during the war?
Was it not ojukwu that started the war

How did it become a massacre please educate me

Lies of hypocrisy to divert attention from the very obvious!

Asaba Oct 7, 1967 Massacre:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IEaX9lVVrCM

Murtala Muhammed and his Yoruba partners in crime didn't think twice not to murder Delta Igbos in cold blood in 1967.

Did Murtala and his cohorts kill locals in Benin, Ekiti or Ore?

Gowon, Awolowo, Ejoor, Adebayo, Mobolaji Johnson, Katsina, Wey and all the groups that supported and advised the Federal Government of Nigeria to renege on the accords agreed upon in Aburi, Ghana were responsible for the 1967-70 Civil War, alongside the murderous people who killed innocent Easterners in revenge for an act done by a misguided group of Soldiers comprising of Southerners and Northerners.

Ojukwu tried making peace, and called for peace-talk in a neutral ground hence the Aburi Accord, but Gowon and his co-travellers violated the agreement reached. If Ojukwu wanted wanted war he wouldn't have called for peace talk in Ghana but it was inevitable. Ojukwu never asked for war!
Over thirty thousand corpses littered the Norther region in the aftermath of the January 15 1966 coup.

Why didn't the July 1966 counter-coup plotters just wipe out the Eastern political class and call it a day. Aguiyi Ironsi did nothing deserving death yet they killed him. Ironsi was too much of a peacemaker and he died making useless peace, appeasing the Northerners. The counter coup plotters simply wanted a war and they sure got one.
Bear in mind there was no war before the pogrom of 1966 started in the North.
So why resort to maiming and killing innocent Easterners cum civilians. Has the killings stopped till date? NO!

The February 13, 1976 Dimka-led coupists came from Benue and Plateau region. They assassinated Murtala Mohammed then Head of State, yet there was no genocide carried against the Middle-belt people. Why was same treatment not given to the ethnic groups of the Dimka-led coupists that committed same offence? It's simply hypocrisy!

It is even against the military rule to harm the innocent civilians during coup.

When Diya and other Yoruba soldiers planned the coup against Abacha regime, why didnt Abacha wipe out the entire Yorubas race?

According to the warped logic of hypocrites anytime there is a revolution or a coup the ethnic groups of the coup plotters should be singled out for ethnic cleansing!

Ethnomusicolist Charles Keil, who was visiting
Nigeria in 1966, recounted:

"The pogroms I witnessed in Makurdi, Nigeria
(late Sept. 1966) were foreshadowed by
months of intensive anti-Ibo and anti-
Eastern conversations among Tiv, Idoma,
Hausa and other Northerners resident in
Makurdi, and, fitting a pattern replicated in
city after city, the massacres were led by the
Nigerian army. Before, during and after the
slaughter, Col. Gowan could be heard over
the radio issuing 'guarantees of safety' to all
Easterners, all citizens of Nigeria, but the
intent of the soldiers, the only power that
counts in Nigeria now or then, was painfully
clear. After counting the disemboweled
bodies along the Makurdi road I was
escorted back to the city by soldiers who
apologized for the stench and explained
politely that they were doing me and the
world a great favor by eliminating Ibos.”

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nigerian_Civil_War

Here's actually an excerpt, albeit it was written by Emeka Esogbue but it is a direct summarization of Emma Okocha books.

"It was this battle that gave birth to Murtala, a “Local champion” called Ibrahim Haruna and Ibrahim Taiwo of the Nigerian Army. Africans first had the practical experience of the word “genocide” in Igbodo where hundreds of lives were lost in the Nigerian civil war. In Isheagu, the case was not different. It was here that the ulterior motive of the Nigerian troop clearly unfolded.

The people were now scampering for the safety of their lives having experienced what happened in Igbodo and some other places. In the Midwestern region, able bodied men went into hiding leaving women and children at the mercy of advancing soldiers. The people of Benin went identifying their Ibo-speaking neighbours from house to house for executions."

How does this news prevent a people from seeking self-determination?

.. I honestly don't know why some Yoruba folks can't let these people be.

It seems a lot of folks are oblivious to the fact that Nigeria is bankrupt and it's only a matter of time before it implodes. So if certain folks want to leave the cesspit, either by hook or by crook - why can't you let them be? Or are Yorubas so messed up these days that they don't believe that they can survive without Igbos cos it is starting to look like that?

You have a people who have been stuck in the 60s cos of Nigeria, yet they are the biggest proponent of the shiithole. If that isn't a classic case of Stockholm Syndrome, I don't know what it is. Or what have Yorubas achieved collectively since the 60s cos pictures of all Yoruba states, apart from Lagos aren't nothing to be proud of. Then almost all the states are heavily indebted and it is only going to get worse due to how bankrupt Nigeria is right now.

Anyway, there are tons of Yorubas out there who wouldn't mind donating in whatever capacity to the Biafran cause, if Igbos can develop a proper strategy that won't alienate those in the South and maintain territorial integrity. Igbos need to start reaching out cos apart from the cows and cow jockeys feasting on free grass in the zoo - the country is a disaster.

Why was El-zak's health not allowed to deteriorate and lead to the inevitable since that is what the proponents and praise-singers of evil have been clamouring for all over the place?

nwanne se ju gi obele ajuju....are there no brown roofs in South Eastern part of Nigeria?...am even tired of hearing biafra...if it's nt british are delegating on it,then u wil hear EU has supported a referendum, which way na...all i can say is God bless Nigeria...

If you're no impersonator go to your kindred and give them that message of yours. Possibly start a campaign from there and see who is deceiving who.

There are many of your type out here on NL claiming the claimable. You're most needed in OduaArewanistan republic. And therefore you can't determine the future of millions of Igbos.

Take your campaign to some other quarters of like minds.

What do you expect from a typical Urhobo person?

Many of them are too scared of Igbos abandoning them at the mercy of Yorubas and Hausa-Fulanis.

Whatever their wishes they can only determine their own future and cannot determine for Easterners.

Woe unto those that tremble before men of power and that worship false gods. Destruction and perdition awaits those who bow before Baal, who exalt the servants of Belial, who kiss the ring of the Baphomet, who say ”Buhari is God” and who crawl at the feet of the Lord of the Flies.

For example you have no right to tell the courts how to administer justice and who and who not to grant bail. Again you have no business to tell the legislature which laws to pass and how to run their affairs.

Again you have no right and neither do you have the power to pronounce any Nigerian citizen guilty of any crime unless and until a duly constituted court of law has done so. You cannot be the prosecutor, judge and jury in any criminal proceeding and this is especially so when you initiated those proceedings and you are the accuser.
...
To attempt to do so is not only unacceptable and irresponsible but it is also heartless and unkind. The fact that most of our senior and respected lawyers have refused to tell you this simply because they are scared of you or because they are looking for patronage from your government does not mean that what you are doing is lawful or acceptable. What you are doing is morally and legally reprehensible and it is unacceptable in any democratic and civilized society.
...
You have no right to attempt to cower or intimidate the fourth estate of the realm, which is the media, or attempt to pervert and corrupt the Nigerian public with daily doses of lies, falsehood, deceit and propaganda which is being duly and dutifully administered by your Minister of Information and your numerous media aides.
...

Mr. President I wish to remind you that it is an incontrovertible fact that in just seven months your government has succeeded in marginalizing the Igbo more than any other Federal Government in living memory and certainly since the civil war.

This is a record that you ought not to be proud of. What the Igbo want is fairness, equal rights, equal representation, equity and respect. They also believe that they have the right to determine their own future and make their own choices.

Mr. President I do not believe that this Is this too much for them to ask given the fact that they have contributed, perhaps more than most, to national development and integration in the last forty five years?

It is not too much to ask given the fact that no less than three million of their people, including one million innocent children, were slaughtered during our civil war in the name of keeping Nigeria one?

I have no doubt that you will remember this very well Mr. President given the fact that you were one of those that prosecuted that war and fought in it.

You will also remember the brutal mass murder and the war crimes and crimes against humanity that were perpetrated against the unarmed and defenseless Igbo civilian population of Asaba in 1968 when over one thousand of them were rounded up, taken to the town square and shot to death for no just cause.

The soldiers that carried out that unspeakable act of cowardice, brutality and barbarity were under the command of your professional colleague, the late Head of State, General Murtala Mohammed. Mr. President that was a dark, shameful and ignoble chapter in our history which still cries out for justice and reparations.

Needless to say the pain of such horrendous events and numerous others that the Igbo have been subjected to by the Nigerian state and those that control it over the last fifty five years still haunts them.

The truth is that regardless of the obvious contempt that you have for them the Igbo will continue to insist on justice, fairness and on having their rights respected in our country.

If you refuse to address their numerous and legitimate grievances and you refuse to treat them with the understanding, sensitivity and compassion that they deserve, the agitation for self-determination, secession and the yearning for the establishment of a new nation called Biafra will wax stronger and stronger until it reaches dangerous and irresistible proportions.

That is what you are toying with Mr. President and if that were to happen be rest assured that the Yoruba would take a cue from it and so would the people of the Niger Delta. It would effectively signify the beginning of the balkanisation of Nigeria.
...

Whether you and those with your world view like to hear it or not, that is the bitter truth.
