Please I need a lawyer and a surveyor. Please can someone refer trusted professionals, preferably with a Lagos office? Thanks. |

uboma: Thanks for replying. But what is the implication of simply copying the first purchase agreement and adapting it for this second one? And can a survey be edited with new information added? I paid N180k for the first survey, and I'm looking to reduce or avoid this cost altogether. |

Hi everyone. A while ago I paid for a plot of land somewhere in Ogun State through a lawyer, after all necessary verifications. However, the land owner has now asked me to come pay for the vacant plot next to mine if I like it. I have the funds to purchase it, and it seems to be a good location, all things considered. But I need help with a couple of issues: 1. Will I have to pay another agency fees to the agents that linked me up for my original purchase? 2. Will I need to get lawyers to draft another purchase agreement for 5% of the land value? 3. The survey I did covers only my plot. Will I need to carry out a separate survey? Thanks. |
