I just got admission to kogi state polythenic and there was ethnic crises in the campus and the school was closed so I had to travel back to Lagos and this was less than 48 hours I resumed. The school was opened , I traveled back to school and getting to school those that called me to resume are still in Lagos and I heard no where to sleep. So it started raining, I later remembered I had a toaster a day when I just resumed, luckily for me I could still trace his house. I carrried my bag crying and calling my mummy cause it was raining with heavy wind. I got to the guys house he has not resumed too but the landlords daughter welcomed me, she even asked me to have my bath but I was like is where to put my head that is important. The next day I board a bus back to Lagos, those that called came back to school the day I left for lagos |

alexialin: I'm not disputing your argument but my question is why was Davido not affected by the drugs ? Were they not together in the club before the death of Tagbo, why did the two other guys died later, was it that they just went to order for another fresh batch of drugs. If the drug kills like I wonder why majek fashek is still alive. Is it not possible for these guys to be injected with drugs and still kept some in the car to erase the possibility of murder? Is it not to justify that Tagbo was killed by drugs or to shut the guys up not to give evidence about Tagbo's death. I am not rulling away the drug aspect but there's also the possibility of murder 1 Like |

I think what your mum ought to have done is to tell you her spirit does not go with the lady and ask you to be patient, obsevant and be prayerfully but for her telling you outrightly there that she would have nothing to do with you, I think she is biased and it is very possible she has someone in mind for you or it has to do with ethnicity or church denomination. Lastly, ask your mum politely on a soft mode if she has a lady for you, with that it's possible you find out the truth and if you noticed she is not taking anything personal then just take it to God in prayers, he answers prayer that I'm sure of |

[quote author=mostyg post=56194007] Lots of people are advising you to leave your mum's house. I would advise otherwise. You don't run away from challenges, you face it. The problem here is not with your mum who would always be happy with you around here but your sister. Call a family meeting and set rules in the house. Your mother being the owner of the house decides who and who not should stay in the house. Go and pay a visit to your sister's husband and tell him all that transpired. Involve the police already but with caution. Your wife could possible be responsible for the hidden certificates and damaged clothes. Don't ever underestimate the extent to which a woman could go to proof her point. At a very old age you would also be willing that your children do not leave you living alone. Please do not leave your mother alone.[/quote You are saying he should not leave his mother, what is the mother doing about the missing certificate, the mother gave the couple her words and she was not there for them. Where was the mother when part of the house was burgled? What is the assurance that the whole scenario was not a set up between his mother and sister cause the guy was ready to leave the house for a week and his mum objected it. As for the husband, he is not man enough, even in his presence his sister was ready to beat his wife no wonder his wife fought bad, she knew her husband his weak, haa!this guy is too weak and the mother and sister are taking advantage of him. You are on nairaland because it is not your certificate that is missing, that is the reason why you are telling your wife not to report to the police. What if your wife certificate is found in a crime scene? is that when you will be reporting to the police that the certificate is missing. If you are not a party to this certificate set up allow your wife to go and report at the police station not because of your sister majorly but for future.if your sister is truly the way you have described her she will not return the certificates especially if she does not have one. Please leave your mother's house, you want your mother to be happy at the detriment of your home and your wife's happiness. 1 Like |
Religion / Re: Thread For Members Of The Celestial Church Of Christ. Halleluyah! by yebo: 6:12pm On Mar 12, 2017 |
what i can say about this church is that the church doctrine is ok but there are lots of faith sherpherds, fake in the sense that they seek other gods just to perform miracles, amongs the major problems of this church is that many of there sherpherds are literates and are not employed and because they want to live big they seeks spiritual powers in order to perform miracles and get money. what of adultery, i know of a shepherd that has 3 fat women in his house, i just ask myself that what kind of example is this man showing, the rate of adultery is very high in celetial church, it happens in other churches but this cele's church is high. i dont know there problems with english language especial here in ibadan, i dont know the church that does english service, this is also one of the things i hate in the church. if there sherpherd and there prophect can stick with only jesus, the church is ok. and so many members have forgotten the reason y they are in church, they believe they are there to be prophesied to they have forgotten they are there to worship God. the church realy need to sanitised there sherpherd and prophects |

elektra:just like you have said" it never ends well" my Sil is exactly in this situation, getting to know my husband more before i got married to him, i discovered my Sil, her husband and children stay with my father-inlaw, not just accommodation but also feeding them, my SIL does not work in the same state where her family resides so she leaves for work on mondays and comes back on fridays, my Fil decides to give his rented apartment to my Sil husband to manage it as agent in order to get income, do you know that my SIL husband brings ladies to my father-inlaw house to sleep with them while the wife is away, i'm not just assumming this cause i saw him several times and he knows, my Sil takes care of her children, buys cloth for them, pays the children's school fees while my father inlaw takes care of the accommodation and feeding, its a long story which i dont know how to express it, the truth is sometimes in late september (2016) my sil did not see her husband, she thought he has travelled for business outside the state so when she did not hear from him she contacted the husband family members which they also said they have not heard from him. two weeks later my SIL Saw a missed call on her phone( international line) she didnt bother to call back, so the husband decided to chat her on whatssap that this is your husband but my Sil replied by telling him that my husband is in Nigeria, so the husband displayed his picture and also sent him his pics, he is now in USA. After all she has done, this is what she deserves, his family members are also supporting whenever the wife complains that her husband his not providing for the family, all they say is that he does not have. what hurts me more was that this man which the family claims does not have funds cheats alot, and you will see him attending shows, snapping at the shows and displaying it on whatssap. my Sil never felt it that much cause she was prepared for it, she had lived has if she is never had husband. it never ends well. long story dont know how to express it |

Is any pastor who is not into politics is a righteous person? I disagree, what happens to pastors who are auditors that do not disclose the true profit of the company he has audited, what about pastors who are not into politics that embezzled church funds, what happened to pastors that fornicates?are we saying pastors that are not into politics do not commits any sin? Politics itself is being practice in every aspect of our Lives, politics is bei,g practice in the church, in polygamous homes, between parents and children , in offices and where is not. Most of us see pastors as if they are not humans, I tell you meet with these pastors outside church and see who they truly are, you will see that the major difference between you and a pastor is that post they occupy and most of these men of God just mind the way they behave because of the post they occupy. |

Family / Re: Your Experience During Childbirth In Nigeria by yebo: 1:03pm On Jul 07, 2013 |
I gave birth to my second Son a month ago at Ibadan, I gave birth in a new clinic along d new challenge Apata express way, the Hospital service is nothing to write about, I can never ask my Enemy to go to the hospital. My first problem with the hospital started when the doctor wanted to give anti tatanus injection which I explained to him that I've taken 3 doses out of d five doses and that I'm due for the next dose by Feb dis year, I was given d 4th dose by Feb n d Doctor was telling me dat I'm suppose to take another dose 2months later but I refused. My first Scan as at 16 weeks shows dat my baby is lying transverse so d Doctor saw it n was just threatening me dat it possible I go tru a CS section so since I av my first born Scan result at home I went tru it n I found out dat d baby was also lying transvere as at 16 weeks n by 32 weeks it has changed upside Down so I wasn't scared, by 39 weeks there was no sign of Labour n d Doctor was trying to Induce me so I explained to him dat my first pregnancy too was like dis dat there was no labour sign until I went tru Virginal Examination but d Doctor wnted to induced me which I refused n he finaly did the virginal Examination for me on 29th of may between10am n 11 am , by 8pm when my Husband was preparing for work d next day d labour sign was showing gradually by 8:30 I was on my way to d clinic. I got to d clinic n I was asked to go to d labour room, can u belive it dat while I was in Labour d doctor stil want to induced me, one of d nurses was giving me sign but I didn't get d message not until they brought d tins he wanted to use to induced me dat I now got d message so I told d doctor dat I don't wnt to be induced. I had a tear directly from my virginal to my Anus as I'm talking to u due to d Doctors negligence. D whole labour p pain n child birth was less dan 2hrs, I was Discharged before 12 noon d next day, d clinic does not have Electric boiler, stove nor cooker to Heat water, my baby was not properly examined it was when I got home dat I discoverd he had Jaundice. It was a terrible experience, I nid to call d nurses to check my Bp before it was checked,I also called a nurse attention to myself stomach pain n dat d bleeding is much all for d nurse to be complaining dat I didn't allow her to sleep. |
Family / Re: Your Experience During Childbirth In Nigeria by yebo: 12:29pm On Jul 07, 2013 |
I gave birth to my first son in a private clinic, I so much appreciate d Matron because at every point in time, she would tell you d situation of things and tell you what to do, when I was in labour she told me the cervix is not yet wide enough for d baby to come through so by d time I really felt d baby down in my private part n I was shouting she just told me to keep Quiet dat I shouldn't shout dat when. I'm feeling d Labour pain I should just open my mouth n gasps for air, to God be the glory I entered d Labour room by 5:25 n by 5:35 I gave birth, she told me d doctor told her dat I av Fibroid I said yes, she said I need to camp dat she needs to use her hands to pack out d blood very well due to d fibriod thou it was. A bit painful, when she was about to stitch d place I was cut she told me so when she was stitching it by d time she got to d fleshy part of my private part she told me dat dis part is going to be painful so I prepared my heart for it. After d child birth my Bp was monitored every 2hrs so also was my sons temperature was monitored, his navel was also cleaned every 2hrs. There service at d clinic was supered. |

Ur aunty shld tank God dat shes opportuned to knw dat her husband is using his younger brother has next of kin, I tink it is an opportunity for her to roll her sleeves n start saving for her children, she shld work hard n invest for her children. Now dat she's fighting for next of kin, does she knws wht d husband has written in his Will or will write in his Will? Fighting d husband is not d rite thing now but to sit down n tink of how to personally invest for her children. Dis is one big mistakes most married men do, dey involve their relatives too much in their properties instead of carrying their children along, dey allow dem to knw all their properties and investment n by d time d husband is late u see dem fighting over d properties with d children but d less properties dey knw d less problem for d children |

I do take money from my husband pocket only when I need a smaller denomination between 20 naira and 200 naira at most not that I don't have cash on me but I do take permission before taking it, d only reason y I don't take permission at times is when he's asleep n I need d money at that time n when he wakes up I'll let him knw. U there not tell my husband that u don't have cash on you, he wld be terrible mad at you, u must av informed him immediately u are running out of cash n he wld knw how to reimburse you, he belives anytin can happen dat we require money. So there's no reason for me to take any amount above 500 naira from his pocket especially when its above 500 naira upward. |
