Dear All, I got my study permit approval in August 2022 and I will be leaving for Canada in 3rd of December 2022. My question is Can I start the sowp application for my spouse before leaving for Canada? If yes, I would be glad if I could get the list of documents required for the application. I would be glad also if I could get response to my quest asap. Thank you all in anticipation.

I checked my GCKey account this morning and I saw under Eligibility review that " WE ASSESS WHETHER YOU MEET ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA" as against WE ARE REVIEWING WHETHER YOU MEET THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS" Also, REVIEW OF MEDICAL changes from YOU PASSED THE MEDICAL EXAM to RESULTS OF YOUR MEDICALS ARE FAVOURABLE. After I re-login again, All the information have changed to the usual messages on the GCKEY account. Abeg, has anyone experience this before or is this what people refer to as ghost message ?

wow, I’m January 25, no response yet. I’ve been bombarding them with mails, no response. I don’t know what is wrong.

Has your eligibility began ? If no, I will advise you mail delhi-immigration@international.gc.ca. They respond to mail faster than every other channels. We shall all laugh at the end of the day. It is well.

Present Sir ! I noticed virtually all the January 2022 applications do not receive swift attention like those after them. It's so unfortunate. Am actually January 15th applicant and my eligibility review began just 12 days ago after bombarding IRCC with series of mails. The waiting is killing bro. Am waiting for their final decision and I hope it will not take donkey years to hear from them. It will end in praise. What God cannot do does not exit.

I don't know if anyone is in my shoe. I am January 15th 2022 applicant without no significant update from IRCC. My eligibility review has not commenced. This is really frustrating. I know God will intervene and my story will change for good before the week runs out.

I am January 15th applicant. The last update on my account was biometric completed. There was no new message thereafter. Meanwhile, I did upfront medical assessment day before yesterday (16th Feb. 2022) and I had subsequently raised web form to inform IRCC of the development. Let us keep our fingers cross. Everything will surely end in praise.
User1010:
Please any January 28th applicants?
Any update on your application status?
I am a new user but I read through messages to be updated smiley

Congrat bro !

PPR timeline grin grin
God did, to Him be all the Glory!!!

Started my school application around April last year. I applied to 3 colleges and I got admissions for the 3. I had to choose one against others around June. I couldn't apply for visa early due to some family stuff. Both school application and visa were done by me. I was also assisted in getting schools to apply to by my sister who is in Canada and I then applied to them. My program was for January this year but I applied for visa in November and I had to defer cz I wasn't going for online classes. I got my new letter of admission after 2 days and that same day I submitted it to IRCC through webform. I didn't get any notification that they received it though but,a,,# I trusted God that it went smoothly to them. God helped me, He guided me and He made everything easy for me. I am eternally grateful to God!! This afternoon I reminded God that there shall be no delay nor denial cz that has been my request to Him since the beginning. He did it!!

Timeline:
Application: 10th November
Biometrics: Completed 16th November
Eligibility: 20th January
Correspondence and PPR: 10th February

Exactly 3months.

Applications submitted:
1. IRCC forms
2. Letter of admission (old and then new)
3. Passport photograph
4. Passport
5. SOP
6. POF

Thank you guys, I have learnt alot here. Been in Nairaland since last year but joined this platform late December after submitting application.
As I have requested God for it, may He grant everyone trusting Him for PPR and grant speed unto those that theirs are delayed. He will hear and grant in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Keep trusting Him and pray always.
God bless us all.
