Evachi: Evachi, let him/her search for school of interest then search for a supervisor in his area of specialisation. Send a mail to the supervisor with your CV, motivation and possibly transcripts. Supervisors reply will determine the direction of your admission. Many supervisors won't reply so you need to send to many as possible. |

brainkid01: Brainkid1, do not worry at all! They will scheduled a day for you for your interview. I panicked too when it happened to me after waiting for a long time but eventually I was interviewed. Today is 17 Nov and your resumption date is 29 January, so you still have enough time. I will only advise you should seriously start preparing for your interview and to get all the appropriate documents together. Goodluck |

How do one legalize his/her certificates, please. Especially if the certificate is obtained abroad? What type of legalisation does Belgium Embassy recognize? |

ignatiuschinedu:Chinedu, you have to check respective embassy websites. I know Germany is €60 and UK student visa is £450 or so, other visa fees is lesser than study visa. I do not know about US visa fees |

eMidas: Evachi, Germany Visa Fee is 60€ and as at this morning that's 350.02 Naira exchange for one Euro, so you need to go with amount slightly higher than Naira equivalent of 60€ for the day of your interview. Goodluck |

Joysmart: Evachi, it took German Embassy two weeks before they could book me for an appointment. So you need to have a bit patient. I will also advise you call them to make an inquiry about it. Goodluck |

Hello peeps, I have been following this interesting group for a while. I need your advise. I have gotten admission for PHD in Göttingen. I have a non-European scholarship and have submitted all my documents for interview. I have done my interview already and waiting for result. Federal Government have written cover letter reaffirming the scholarship. What is my chance of getting visa? I do not have money to deposit for DB, my account opening request was rejected even before interview. What do you advise I do? |
