Don't mind them. I just wonder why the aide couldn't say this while Akeredolu was alive.

You should have called the HR. Most times it is to test if you are still interested in the job.

I applied to a care home, I was called to book a phone interview, which I did, and I was given a date and time, that reach, time weh I give them pass, so I had to call the HR that same day, and she told me she completely forgot she had an appointment with me. Long story short, I was interviewed there on the phone and I got the job.

So call them.

No mind how I switched from English to pidgin...
Oftentimes, it doesn't change anything in this country that we are, where our usual way of thinking is that you have to suffer and get stressed to get every positive thing. If it would bring any changes at all, it would be negative, you would be told you are desperate.
If a company seriously needs someone to fill a vacant space, they shouldn't forget that vacant chair, should they?

You were just lucky, that woman (HR) is one in a million among Nigerians

Did u later get the job after all the drama
opj21:
no
Lol.....@slickbishop, I get ur point, it's just like it still doesn't change anything. And that's why I was hesitating as well.

Alright guys, I finally called him yesterday (Monday) around 9am since the number is not on WhatsApp and I don't want the situation whereby my mail would be ignored, although I called him on Sunday but he didn't pick.

So when I called yesterday, he apologized and says they are having some internal issues and the mail would be sent hopefully before the end of this week.

I don't believe him tho, it seems the usual Nigerian politics has been played. I have moved on.

Thanks to you all

Please don’t call or send an sms or mail.
Best thing to do is to keep praying for the employment letter to drop.
I’m speaking from experience, lost something like this because I called.
Wish you all the best.
Hmmm....I understand, our mentality in this country is damn bad, we believe in stressing ourselves so much. Thanks and sorry about that, I pray u get something far better very soon.

Jobs/Vacancies / Is It Okay To Call A Company Regarding Employment? by Yide10(f): 10:47am On Oct 09, 2021
I did an interview at the beginning of this week and I was called by the HR on Thursday that the company will be employing me, he asked if I would be available for resumption on Monday, and he was told yes.

He then said I would get a proper employment mail from them, which I have not gotten from Thursday till today, tomorow is Sunday and Monday is almost here.

Should I place a call back to the HR probably tomorow afternoon, if I don't hear from them or should I just keep expecting and move on if I end up not getting the mail?

I'm really skeptical on calling him because of our mentality in this country.
Please house, what's your suggestion on this?

This is serious and it saddened my heart. If you clearly study Nigeria situation, you will know that is not every discipline that Graduate study is worth pursuing. If that man had had PhD in Economics or Business, I know the story would have been changed. Another thing is that, many of these people never attempted to gather any relevant working experience. Some after Graduation... Straight to Msc then PhD. They never had interval or break to amaze working experience. I wish Him all the best.
This one is different, he has work experience.

This one just wants to trend. You can't be have Ph.D, with experience in Education and IT and then lives on N200daily. It's either he is lying about his worth or cannot value himself. This is how they would come online and make going to school look less attractive. The N6000 monthly worthy he is quoting is certainly one of his sources of income. Was it N200 daily income he used to achieve this enviable educational height?
It's obvious u don't know how bad this country is.

And again he said he has experience, meaning he has worked before, he couldn't have attained that kinda education with 200 Naira as he might also have some supporters wen schooling.

Shame to the useless, selfish people that parade themselves as leaders of this country. See talent and knowledge wasting, there seems to be no future in this country.

It's beyond the look I guess, Alex seems to be humble, he doesn't disrespect or address fans anyhow, he respects his fans to the core.

He tries as much as possible to answer most questions and his sense of humor even to trolls is second to none, he hardly take things personally. I think that's the secret, even guys like him not just girls.

Do you have any clue on CBT exams for Medical Officers?

What kind of questions were asked? Were they strictly course related, or they asked those difficult mathematical questions?
Current affairs, English and basic mathematics with few questions based on your profession. That was then, don't compare it with what will happen now, all organizations be it government or not are looking for means to cut people down during recruitment at this period.

Prepare well professionally.

this week some jericho state hospital staff contracted covid-19 and they have to close down the hospital i think they dont want to put new staff in hospitals and medical centres to prevent more staff from increasing covid -19 contacts...they want the covid -19 to reduce drastically
hmmmm, maybe, just maybe.

I think d main issue is the money to pay salaries, considering the fact that the government has spent so much on care of Covid19 and economy is down at the moment.

Tescom recruitment is on going despite the pandemic, don't forget d virus can b contracted anywhere and schools are delicate too, but u know healthcare salary is a bit higher.

Even the Tescom applicants sud prepare well cos it's more likely their CBT won't b cheap as ours, they may likely find a way to reduce more traffic from there as they'v bn reducing it already, some of them did not av the opportunity to finish up their application on the site due to one reason or the other. It's well all the same.

Anybody knows whether there's still a chance if one gets application form NOW? Is the recruitment or selection process in batches? Any Pharmacist applied and joined them for CBT around February/March?
U can't apply anymore bro/sis, u av to be hopeful for another set of recruitment process. I would have suggested u tried Kaduna state own but it's also closed.

If u are a pharmacist, try Lagos health recruitment, that's on going. And i think pharmacists are included, check their site.

they dont know when to call for interviw i was told that..
Hmmmm, same thing I was told wen I went there. It's well. I was also told consultants and nurses are being appointed as at that time, should be about 3 weeks ago now.

Good to hear they're compiling list anyway, cos what I noticed then was that, the recruitment process was stagnant at that time.
