Good Morning House, please I need your help. I am trying to book a TB test for my daughter and I but anytime I trying booking online, it keeps saying no available dates. Also, my passport expires in September and I will need to put in my visa application latest next month to avoid possible issues because of the passport expiry date. How do I go about getting a TB test done by next week latest. Also, is it possible to renew my passport although I still have one currently running? I appreciate and welcome any reply that will help. Thank you. |

Good Afternoon all, My friend got admitted into Wolverhampton Uni and has been asked to attend a Pre-CAS interview. Anyone gone through the interview before? What was asked and how long was it for? Thanks 1 Like |

Good Afternoon all, I'll be starting my masters in September at the University of Derby and will like to know the estimated time, based on your experiences that I should pay my confirmation fee? I initially planned on paying in May but I'll like to know if May is safe as I read somewhere about a prospective student who waited months to get his CAS. I plan on arriving in the UK by August. Also, I have a child but was advised by my mum to initially leave her behind so I can settle properly and she will join me instead during the post study work period. Can I process her visa as I apply for my post study visa since she won't be applying with me this period? And for anyone currently in the Uk who has had similar experiences, how long did it take before your child/children were given visas? I am a single mum btw and I have gotten legal ownership over her Thank you for your responses. |

Thank you so much for the response. I know Oanda but i needed to be sure as i saw a few people mention Paga and CBN rates (not really sure if they were making reference to the visa application stage). For the sole custody document, will i be needing a lawyer to go about this? or is it something i can get done myself after making necessary payments the court? LagosismyHome: |

Hello my fellow nairalanders , I have read through all the pages of this thread and the information shared has been very useful. I'll like to ask a few questions to gain more clarity. So i have gotten admission to study Finance at Loughborough University and i want to find out : 1) I am a single mother and bearing the full financial responsibility for my child (she's 3 years) but her father is somewhat in the picture in terms of emotional availability for his child, would a consent letter from her dad be sufficient to present at the embassy to allow her travel with me. 2) I applied for a scholarship offered by the school and still awaiting decision on my application. I want to play it safe and pay my deposit to get my CAS but do you all advise that i wait to get a decision. i am worried the decision might come out too late and I've seen from a few people on the thread that CAS processing might take a while. 3) What exchange rate should i apply in estimating the funds needed in my account. I am aware i will need to show proof of the balance of my fees plus living costs for my daughter and I. what is the exchange rate you all are using in this estimation? 4) Given resumption is still in October and I plan on applying for my visa by September, is it too early to take the TB test? 5) Do I need to present the hardcopy of my transcript at the Visa Center? 6) I have family in Leicester willing to accommodate my daughter and I, can their letter of support in accommodation be used as my proof of accommodation or it is not mandatory to show proof of accommodation. Thanks in advance. Hope we all get our visas |

I did well in the proficiency in excel/ Word. My essay section was okay too. My interview panel said I did well in the presentation/interview so i’m a bit disappointed that I wasn’t contacted but God knows best. And when success mails for AC dropped, a number of us chatted about it on this platform so i’m also wondering how come Just you for now has this bit of information. Not that i’m doubting you in any way. enawt: |
