Travel / Re: Pls I Want To Travel To Canada How Do I Start An How Much Is The Cost by Yonnie13: 7:00pm On Oct 29, 2017
Good evening everyone. I am applying for post degree studies in canada and I when I saw this post I got a little scared cos I graduated with a 2.2 .please what are my chances of being accepted and also which schools will be best in my situation. Thanks
kife:

Embarking on Post Degree Studies in Canada is a great choice
as Canada will provide an opportunity for International students to get Post graduate work experience.

Generally, Masters Programs are quite competitive in Canada and as such they require a minimum of 2.1(Second class upper) and First class.
*However depending on the strength of your **application, students have
been able to get in with a 2.2. A strong application will include work experience, GRE & GMAT Scores if required and strong references.*

Please visit www.uni <http://www.aucc.ca/>versitystudy.ca
for a complete list of all Canadian
universities. On this website you can search by program choice and you can
get direct links to the Universities of your choice and how to apply.

If you are unsuccessful with your Masters application we can look at applying for a Post Graduate Diploma.

Godspeed.

wud lyk to apply for undergraduate studies in norway..bt i heard d embassy dnt giv visas to undagraduate, plz hw true is that?

JagaJaga1:
You need to provide an account statement to the school at this initial stages of application but you have to pay the money to a norwegian bank when you get admitted. Just note that most nowegian varsities admit students once a year [Summer session]. What program and school are you applying to? Note that Norwegian embassy doesn't give visas to applicants going for undergraduate studies.

~One more question: Why are you using an agent when you can do it  yourself? That agent doesn't know anybody in the school or at the embassy.

@effizy NTNU is one of the best universities in the world and there is a possibility of you getting a job before you graduate as oil coy come for career fair in the school. But first get application form to enable you send in your documents before you start bothering.

Ok thanks a lot

No it isn't true. NDDC accepts schools from other countries, especially Canada. There are scholars presently schooling there.

informed247:
Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has over the years achieved relative level of success, while this is commendable, most Niger Deltans expects more from NDDC. I am writing this with serious bitterness, about 3 days ago, I stopped over at Birmingham from London, met with some Niger Delta Students, I was almost overwhelmed when they disclosed that NDDC sponsored them for their masters, as we chatted further, such feelings was instantly murdered at the instance of these students, who received scholarships since 2015, claiming NDDC is yet to pay their maintenance fees. I was bittered, disappointed and was forced to register in nairaland so I would raise this issue, from personal observation, this students were already in the mood to go protest at the embassy, what a shame! when will NDDC gets things done properly? why send students out to foreign land, if NDDC cannot take care of them? must students protest in UK for NDDC to pay up their allowances?

On the Contrary, I was told by one students sponsored by PTDF in London, they have received their allowance within a month after registration, why can't NDDC get it right? The sad thing is that almost a year ago Mrs. Ibim Semanitari, former acting MD of NDDC claimed she has payed these scholars, these lies and wickedness must stop, I was even more surprised same NDDC have just awarded scholarship to scholars 2016, when they are yet to sort out 2015 scholars, this is unacceptable and should be condemned by all Nigerians. Angered by the plight of Niger Delta students, we have put in place measures to confront this inhumane treatment from NDDC, if nothing is done about this by first week of February 2017. Please Share this around until it gets to NDDC.

From a concerned Nigerian
