Dont mean to be bearer of bad news but what i read online seems to give 40-60 days from file transfer date(ie date file was moved to lvo) to reach IP2 from NA2 and possibly a further 15-60 days to reach PPR.

*BEST TO FORGET WHAT WE READ AND JUST WATCH AND PRAY!*

Forgotten!!! Eyes lifted up in prayer!! grin grin

I totally disagree. It's how and what the receiver does with the response he gets.

When I first asked questions on this thread about PCC and travel history, someone told me to go use google and go get Australian PR. I coulda come back crying blue murder but I laughed it off and went to do my research. I guess it's about how tough one's skin is, as most of the time the person responding doesn't mean to be rude or doesn't even know what he/she wrote is rude. I have been called rude and mean on here before. But it is very hilarious to me, if anyone knows me in real life, I play waaaay too much. And I love people with very good sense of humor. However, I have come to realize that this place is made up of very rigid personalities. so na just to ignore and keep moving.
These days sef, I barely answer anything on this thread or just interact with people from the other Canada thread. I answer more on the Living in Canada thread, because I think the frustration is lesser on there grin and folks on there have very good sense of humor and understanding. No offence to this very informative thread though grin

Be wary of your "personal auditor" on holiday ohhh grin grin grin

Hello house I'm fresh out of school...bsc electrical/electronic engineering with a CWA of 80.1%, I schooled in Ghana (knust). I'm considering a coursework based masters program in instrumentation and control system engineering or any related course (I'm to understand that I might not get it as a direct course in Canada)....please what's my admission prospect looking like, which schools would you recommend i look out for and can I get any form of funding with such a grade.

Dayummm son shocked shocked shocked at boldened....You must be one smart chap to have made that average...as long as it was honest work wink. Congrats on surviving Electrical Machines,Semiconductor Devices,Digital Systems and all that Engineering Math razzmatazz grin Some of us only managed to scrape through by the skin of our teeth....Now listen, *puts hand around shoulder*, I'm sure you are feeling real high and mighty with that CWA but the real work in the real world starts after school and in a couple of years (not more than 1 or 2 max) no one will give a rat's ass whether you had a CWA of 99.9% if you can't deliver in the real world. For your post-grad ambitions kindly scoot over to the student visa thread and put your 1st Class awesomeness to work by starting from Page 0 from right here https://www.nairaland.com/3948393/canadian-student-visa-thread-part and by the time you are at Page 50 thereabout you will be in "pole position" as the Semiconductor Devices lecturer used to put it for your Canada ambitions. Good Afternoon,

Please i just got my FBI character report in the post. can i send it immediately or am i to wait for CIC to request for it?

A 'lil background:
I have submitted my other documents and used a LOE to inform that i was still processing my FBI PCC.
I passed my medicals since the 6th of August, 2017. I however have not heard back from CIC.

What link do i use to raise a CSE?

I think it will be https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx

Hahahahahaha! This made me laff ehn! Initially, I prayed for our file to land in London. I figured oyinbo people would have their act together and that things would move fast there. Hmmmmm.....I danced with joy when we got confirmation that our file was in London. Little did I know.......

At the end of the day, our application took just shy of 5 months, while my friends whose files were in Accra had their applications processed in 3 - 4 months. The point is, yes, I believe that (as Ajujuju2 said) this process teaches us patience, a skill that we would need when we relocate to Canada.

All the same, I pray that London ups their game and starts spitting out PPRs sharp sharp, starting with yours.

God's best,

This LVO file transfer after close to 7 or 8 weeks at the CIO is more or less the trend these days.
We're not staying in LVO for that long this time around.
Say amen.

Amen ooo.....Any info on the trend for times stayed at the London LVO in recent times before PPR?

Lol, always one new thing or the other on this thread.

At least no one would think u'r a guy @toyogirl. Glitteringstar sounds very feminine so I wonder why some people would think u'r a guy.

I also thought Ehrnie was a guy at some point.... The one that surprises me is when peeps see Wura and still call me bro. Never ever seen or heard of any Wura guy.

Anyway that's how forums are. In your mind, u'd ve pictured the possible sex and how the person looks.

I know I've already pictured how some people on this thread look and their personality too.... By their chats, you shall know them....

In Ghana, Wura (Owura) means Mr wink

this is priceless! Just reminded me of an exercise on SWOT analysis we did early in my career and one girl put Nigeria as her threat to achieving her dreams.
I just thought of all the factors that have been grouped together into Nigeria to make it a threat. Nepa, ASUU, Government etc......

Just had to laugh at your nepa no gree me dey oh. We Nigerians all understand this.

these questions are always paraphrased from the answers. You will truly get confused if you are waiting to hear the answers in the objective. let me advice you on what i did. i study the questions very well and ignore the objectives, while the audio is playing, i write down the answers of the question as been said in the audio on my answer sheet. When you are done with the test, go back to the questions and objectives. go through it to find the answer that has the same meaning with what you have written. eg. they might use words like, check the internet for more information. and the answer in the objective will be c) our website has more details. you need to concentrate fully also. wishing you the best

Listen with rapt attention when the 7-star IELTS General Bigfido is giving you tips!!! grin

Hello everyone...had been following this thread for a while now. Very informative.
Pls would like to ask - whats the prospect of someone with an IT support experience (3yrs) but having professional certification yet. Also .is it better to do a professional course (microsoft ,ccna etc) there after migration or here before leaving if one is successful.
Bro, do as many certs as you can now. And above all learn the technology, don't just gather certs like a veteran soldier but actually be able to prove your skills...Better to land armed and ready to hit the ground running than adding learning for exams to the survival hustle. The cert is just to get your foot in the door and hopefully not to be bypassed by some mean ATS somewhere so you can show your reall value and pull out your medals like a 5-star general. wink

We did an analysis in a whatsapp group that I am and noticed that aside from the visa processing office, most people that experienced the delay had been denied entry visas. That seemed to be a contributing factor.

Please help with this - For someone who has worked at a SINGLE company for 2years and 8months, is that enough to claim points for 3yrs work experience OR does it have to be a WHOLE 3yrs, i.e full 36month to be able to claim points for 3yrs?

Thanks for your help.

I sent an email 2 days ago & got a feedback today. I have gotten 'additional documents not required' hence the file movement i guess

Am sooooo sad...

No need to be sad dear...God makes all things perfect in his time...Delay is not denial...It will end in praise for us all. London Visa Office or not.

I presume he can still visit but not study in Canada with the same visa?

Might probably need proof of course being attended during his intended visit as the visa was given specifically for that purpose?
