Politics / Re: INEC Boss, Mike Instructed Me To Cancel Akpabio's Votes" by Yorubaskullmine: 1:03pm On Jul 21, 2019
Bennycollins:
Yes Akpabio tried to rig, but did it without sense. Essien Udim, his LGA , is a rural LG. Ikot Ekpene , the headquarters of the senatorial district, is much urban with far higher registered voters, could not return a total near 70k votes. But rural Essien Udim were reported to return over 70k votes. Very funny. How many registered voters do we even have in Essien Udim? What was the turnout for the elections. INEC would also present their case before the tribunal. Remember there are accreditation documents and electronic data showing total accreditation and votes cast.
The returning officer should even be ashamed of himself. As an academic that you are, if the REC ask you to adjust results without any reasons, you shouldn't sheepishly do it without objection.

Ibos love to deceive themselves, feeling like they know how to do business. There type of business is the reason the economy is not growing, it is one of the reasons the naira keeps losing value. Trade can never be balanced with their type of business hence the perpetual loss in the value of naira. They import all the nonsense abroad because of their extreme love for money. If not for crude oil, they would have killed the naira totally. Hausa/Fulani aint lazy, they are farmers , not even peasant farmers like your folks, they are mechanized farmers. 80% of all the cash crops that are being exported out of Nigeria are found there, 80% of the mineral resources too. They are not interested in the media. They face their business and do it well. Do you know the number of trucks of cattle, yams, onions, ginger, etc that get to Lagos per day. I am sure no. Asari and uninformed southerners are not aware. Farming; crop and livestock is a legacy that can be passed to the next generation. Owning of shops to sell battered metals (spare parts) and second hand clothes aint a legacy and will die naturally as Nigeria develops. Don't get carried away with your unstructured businesses.....

They keep saying they have businesses abroad, i live in the slums of Oshodi, i don't know where the businesses are here. Yea they travel to China for substandard commodities and bring them to Nigeria to sell. What is igbo man business in Malaysia?? Lol
Jealousy is eating up your spine. By the way your roof is falling and you are here hating on igbos.

From the comments i have read it's obvious that the trouble with Nigeria are yorubas. The op opened a thread eulogising the good and illustrations people of Anambra. Of all the people that threw shades at the op, it was these set of demonic yorubas that displayed their inferiority complex. Truly it sucks to be a yoruba.

They didn't kill anybody, they wanted a state of there own, how should he have handled the situation let them shout they get tired, the fool couldn't do that, instead sent soldiers who were willing to attack innocent people in a show of force, when the real terrorist are been paid by El Rufai.

I think the Anambra state gov't needs to talk to the Chinese embassy to have strong words with the Chinese firm contracted to build the airport. It's obvious nothing is happening on site two years after the much publicised launch in which the esteemed likes of the Obi of Onitsha and Chief Anyaoku graced the event!

I feel some fraudulent companies just like signing of MOUs so they can use it to tout for other businesses. They show these MOU to potential customers to deceive them that they're a big business, and this is the intention of some of those companies that signed MOUs with the Anambra state gov't but haven't even picked up a shovel never mind commencing construction works; they now have a document showing they've signed MOU worth millions of dollars and can now use it to 'big up' their image!

You failed, I lived in Lagos for about 13 years. I still have about 3 properties in Lagos (Ifako-Ijaiye, Lekki (Ajah by LBS) and Ikorodu. You are the one that does not or have never lived in Lagos. Most of the roads Fashola reconstructed, as he never constructed any that I know of, except maybe Ikoyi link bridge and few others were POORLY done. No sidewalks, No gutters, No bedrocks for a terrain like Lagos, just asphalt on top of sand. Majority of them are already delapaded or full of potholes. Ask people who have been to Enugu State what Chima did there and stop celebrating mediocrity. In fact Ambode came in and started the internal roads, The Airport Road alone have swallowed all Fashola did. Check out the bus stop in Ikeja, designed like what you see in Canada and US. The rebuilding of Oshodi - Abeokuta Road that people are complaining about is a world class effort. The guy did marvelously. I could also remember Ambode reconstructed about 144 internal roads. That is visible achievement. Not Fashola that came to build debts. Most roads you see are PPP and tolled. Not government effort. You are the one paying for Lekki roads my friend. Not Fashola.
