This is ARAB ROAD- KUBWA in Bwari Area council. Abuja. This road leads to several estates including the likes of Dantata Estate. But see what Bola (Local waste carries) have turned this beautiful bridge into. They'll go around picking waste from people houses,Then dump it there. One can't even use the pedestrian anymore because it's covered with waste.

It's an eye sore. Knowing we've people in authority that passes through this route but do nothing about this baffles me.

Please I wish this can get to people responsible for evacuating waste in Bwari Area council of Abuja. Because the dirt on that bridge is a threat to health. People's homes are less than 20-50 meters from the bridge. You can then imagine flies coming out from the waste on the bridge to people's homes.

And these Bola boys needs to be call to order.

I have been gambling since around 2014 and never for once have I ever decided to quit despite destroying my life, career, relationships, and self esteem. It was as if I was cursed with it. I was so addicted to gambling that I'd rather gamble with my money than to buy cloths on my body. I've read so many stories here on nairaland from people who suffered similar faith, but I'd be looking out for comments from people who would say gambling isn't that bad just to encourage myself. Now I'm at level zero. I have no job, no money, no relationship, but friends who are also addicts. I'm cutting them off.

I believe it's not too late for me to make it in life, so I'm believing in God for miracles. Some people might think i can still relapse when i make some money, but so help me God I won't. I have eradicated anything that'd remind me of gambling, deactivated my betting account and focusing on how to make my life better. Betting can never get you rich. It is what I've come to realize anyways.

I don't want to ever return to gambling even when I make enough money. Right now I'm just looking for money to eat and survive.

I hope those going through same would take that bold step and come out of that shell of bondage. It is well.

The Holy Bible used by late Arch Bishop Benson Idahosa of the Church of God Mission, Benin City, Nigeria for the preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ all over the world during his life time has been handed over to Rev. Dr. Chris Oyakhilome of Love World Incorporated (Christ Embassy).

Handing over the Bible to Rev. Chris in Benin as part of the event in the commissioning of the Faculty of Engineering built by Rev. Chris, Rev. Mrs Margareth Idahosa described Bible handover as an emotional moment for her. She said she believed the tranference of the Bible is divine. In her words, Rev Idahosa noted said "yesterday morning we had an emotional moment as the Idahosa Family as led by God gave our son Rev Chris a family gift".

"We have held on to this gift for the last 22 years after our father Archbishop Benson Idahosa left for glory March 12th 1998, and we are rest assured this our action is Divine".

She further stated that in the red box was the personal Bible of Archbishop Benson Idahosa which he used to preach for many years in over 150 countries of the world while proclaiming the gospel of Christ and bringing healing and redemption to millions.

Rev. Mrs Idahosa said she believed the gift will be a blessing to #PastorChris who she referred to as a son. She said they are glad to be associated with Rev. Dr. Chris Oyakhilome and his ministry.
