Duchess Meghan Markle has spoken out on the Black Lives Matter movement and the riots taking place over in the USA, as she addressed graduating students from her former high school Immaculate Heart in Los Angeles.

SpaceX lauched NASA astronauts from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in the US for the first time in 9 years, making history.

Elon Musk’s private space company on Saturday launched NASA astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley into orbit, successfully beginning SpaceX’s first crewed mission. The company’s Falcon 9 rocket and Crew Dragon spacecraft took off from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida at 3:22 p.m. ET. The capsule is the first privately designed and built spacecraft to carry astronauts to space and is bound for the International Space Station.
Just after 3:22 p.m. ET, the Falcon 9 rocket carrying Crew Dragon and the astronauts lifted off from the launchpad. About 12 minutes later, Crew Dragon reached orbit successfully.

Madonna’s 14-year-old son David, danced in a now viral video to fight racism and honour George Floyd after his tragic death amid brutal arrest.

George Floyd died on the 25th of May in Minneapolis following a brutal arrest which was caught on video and showed a police officer kneeling on his neck as he cried out: ‘I can’t breathe’.

A heavily pregnant Ugandan singer went into labour while performing her song at a concert.

The happy looking singer was dancing while performing her song to a crowd of audience when suddenly she felt a sharp pain, shouted and dropped the microphone.

She fell on her knee, holding her baby bump before she called the attention of the stage security to help get her off the stage. It took the efforts of two security officers to carry her off the stage to get the proper medical attention she needs.

Police officers drew their guns at a 21-year-old black male for failing to stop after he ran a stop sign in Texas.

Several police officers pulled their guns and repeatedly screamed, “Show me your hands” at the black male even though he was clearly already showing them in the video which is fast going viral on social media.
NaijaLife reports that a video shared online shows 21-year-old Tye Anders being confronted by police officers who had their guns drawn on him as he laid on the ground. Anders can be heard frantically expressing to officers that he’s afraid that they are going to shoot him, and several witnesses, including family members, can be heard expressing the same concern.

Later, in the video, Anders’ 90-year-old grandmother walks towards Anders and then falls on top of him as officers move to handcuff him. All of this apparently started over Anders running a stop sign.

Anders yelps in distress when the Police orders him to stand up and walk towards them.

According to the Midland Police Department, officers attempted to pull Anders over after he drove through the stop sign. Instead of pulling over immediately, Anders continued driving until he got to his grandmother’s residence, at which point the officers, with their guns drawn, ordered Anderson to exit his car, which they said he initially refused to do.

An ABC TV News reporter, has gone viral after he went on air wearing a suit coat and no pants, not realizing everyone could see his legs.

The TV reporter, Will Reeve appeared Tuesday on “Good Morning America” for a segment about pharmacies using drones to deliver prescriptions to patients.

There was pandemonium yesterday in the ancient city of Benin City as more than three vehicles were involved in an auto crash as residents rushed to beat the 7pm curfew set by the state government.

According to reports, the incident happened at the popular Upper Mission Road in Benin.

The Governor of the state, Godwin Obaseki, some days ago, imposed a curfew in a bid to curb the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

As at time of this report, no death was recorded at the scene of the incident as individuals involved were rushed to a nearby hospital.

A facebook user identified as Asuqo Asuquo Udoma has shared photos of a bag which contained a picture of a man and other fetish items presumably used to diabolically put the man in a ”spiritual bondage”.

The facebook user was however kind enough to remove the yet-to-be identified man’s picture and proceeded to burn the bag and its mystical content.

The General Overseer of The Lord's Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement, Pastor Lazarus Muoka has asked world leaders to relax COVID-19 lockdown and allow churches to reopen.

He said if churches are allowed to reopen, they will crush coronavirus in one minute.

In a video which was shared on the church's official page on Facebook, Pastor Muoka said that God allowed the Coronavirus pandemic to happen so everyone can return to him. He stated that the devil has taken advantage of the virus and looking for solution elsewhere, instead of returning to the house of the Lord.

Pastor Muoka further added that if the world returns back to God and enters into a covenant with him, Coronavirus will be crushed within one minute. He also slammed world leaders for tampering with churches in a bid to a cure to the deadly disease.

The Presiding cleric of Resurrection Praise Chapel a.k.a. “Jehovah Sharp-Sharp” Archbishop Samson Mustapha Benjamin has been released after perfecting his bail conditions, following his arraignment for violating the lockdown order in Lagos state by leading a protest to the Chinese embassy.

the Pastor was arrested after protesting against the alleged maltreatment of Nigerians in China at the Chinese embassy in Lagos.

He was subsequently arraigned in court on charges of “failure to stay at home contrary to COVID-19 Regulations’ and “conduct likely to cause breach of peace”.

Archbishop Benjamin who pleaded not guilty to the charges, was granted a N1million bail and also remanded pending fulfilment of the terms. His co-defendants, Jerry Abel and Johnson Benjamin (1st and 3rd defendants respectively) were each granted N500,000 bail.

The cleric has now been freed after perfecting his bail conditions.

A young Nigerian mother has found herself in serious trouble after she was spotted in a viral video encouraging her son to smoke shisha.

The lady was found after a search was initiated online.

Actress Mary Lazarus who shared an update on the search, said the lady has been found.

The young mother claimed she "jokingly" made the video on March 24, but has realized that she made a terrible mistake.  The lady who is expected to undergo counselling and therapy revealed that she lives in Festac, while her son stays with her relatives. Her son has now been taken to a hospital.

In Nigeria there is a law which prohibits the sale of tobacco products via the internet, single cigarettes and small packets of cigarettes. The law also restricts the sale via vending machines and to persons under the age of 18. However in the last few years, there has been several calls for an intensified restriction on the use of such products by young persons.

Exposing children to smoking makes them more susceptible to asthma, allergies, ear infections and eczema (a skin condition). They are also at risk for sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).

A Pastor in Delta state has accused officials of the Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA of wrongfully detaining his wife and baby.

In the video posted by activist Harrison Gwamnishu, the pastor who resides in Ubuluku, Delta state, said he had a clash with one of his neighbor who according to him, sells “Indian hemp”.

The pastor said he warned the neighbor against selling the banned substance close to his own side of the compound, but his warning didn't go don well as his neighbour got angry and used a cutlass to chase him around.

The clergyman said he immediately reported the matter to the police who were unable to arrest his neighbour because he ran away.

The pastor claimed he got a call from the said neighbour, vowing to deal with him. He said he was shocked when he received a call that his wife and their two months old baby have been arrested and detained by NDLEA officials in Ogwashi-Ukwu, a town in Delta state.

He appealed to Nigerians and the state government to come to his aid so that justice can prevail and for the NDLEA officials to release his wife and baby.
