I am using my account to apply for them by creating a family group for them ( i am not involved since have gotten mine).
The question now is, will i click ''representative filling the form on their behalf;;? since they are still kids and can't fill it by themselves.
If that is the case, that means i will fill the Representative online form and submit, right?

Question: Does anyone know where to pick up passport? DHL or IOS? I switched her pick up to Lagos from Abuja. What is advisable with the current transition going on with the US embassy in Nigeria?

Hey,
One important thing to keep in mind is that the details in the new application must match the previous one, so you need details the previous agent used. e.g agent said you are a director in ABC company, in new application you can’t be a clerk in XYZ. That’s misrepresentation.
Or the more popular one, agent said she’s married with a kid for home ties….you can’t be single without a child in the new application.
So it’s not just about UCI or creating new login details the information and documents need to match the old application. So she may need to follow up with the agent or request GCMS.

Now she has 1 more reschedule chance left.

Hi beautiful people, please I have a question and I will appreciate every possible answers from gentle minds with helpful answers. A friend applied through an agent, the application was denied. But my question now is, if someone want to reapply in the future, what happens to the email the agent used for the previous application and the ircc account created by the agent that this person cannot access by logging into it. If this person want to reapply in the future, will the person have to register afresh on the ircc portal, and using another email, phone no etc.,hope it won't cause any problem for the new application having know he applied before using different ircc login and email. Thanks in advance and I hope my question is clear enough to get good response.

1. In order word, you wanted to play trial n error but the computer played a fast one on you and " gbam ! you were booked for October, 2025 😀

2. Anyways, you can keep using the reschedule option to see if you will be able to pick your desired date , or probably use the emergency option if need be.

3.. As for the DS-160, yes you can fill a new one in order to correspond or align with any date you are eventually given, and i think there is going to be the " Update profile " option where you will be able to update it in the new website as the new update is still ongoing.

PS: Let's assume the update profile option is not available when going for your interview, then all you have to do is attend your interview with both old and new DS-160s.

You can order the gcms note urself if you know ur UCI number.

This is actually for gcms notes via CBSA

- Go to Google, search ATIP
- Pick the first option from the list of results
- when the page opens, click on next
- click/mark the privacy box and click continue
- on the next page, select Canada Border Services Agency from the drop-down
- from the next drop-down, select foreign national outside of Canada
- fill out your required information in the boxes below
(Use your Nigerian address and phone number pls)
- Pick yes to the question about requesting information on your behalf if so
- pick member of the public for the category that best describes you
- Pick electronic copy for how you prefer to receive your notes/records
- click continue
- on the next page, pick privacy act on the 1st drop-down
- select English in the next drop-down
- select case files for the type of records
- fill out all necessary information below(for UCI number, use the format XX-XXXX-XXXX)
- in the comment box write a short intro and your request. Eg:
Hello/Hi
My name is SURNAME, First Second. I have applied for a visit visa, my UCI is ...... and my application number is ......, DOB. I would like to have the notes for my file
- then click continue
- also click continue on the next page(you don't fill anything here)
- you are taken to the final page where you review or edit your info
- check the I certify box and click continue
- you should receive a confirmation email from CBSA

Yes you can request for your gcms note for an ongoing application to see the current status or notes from the visa officers.

@Jeboy it means a senior officer needs to review the file before a final decision.
Cases like this usually take time to decide from what I gathered from someone currently in the same situation.

1. The customer support staffs want you to go to the embassy with completed credentials, that was why they told you that you cannot use it. You can actually use it , and you will be interviewed, but at the same time ,
if you don't have a very genuine reason, a hard-line consular officer can turn you back as an irresponsible VISA applicant.

2. Go and fill another DS-160. You are not making any payment. You can fill DS-160 as many time as you want to add or remove an information.

I filled the DS160 and selected Lagos as the interview location, but when I went to the new appointment website, lagos was not working as it was say "something went wrong try later". I tried to see if its the same for Abuja and I clicked a date in Abuja now they have scheduled me for Abuja. I am unable to see where to put new Abuja DS160 Barcode number..

My question is can I use the DS160 for Lagos to interview in Abuja?
