Reevaluate with IQAS. I had to reevaluate it with IQAS
Myself.

Jesuba:
Rain of ppr!congrats people.
A question pls. Currently in the pool with 392 points and am retaking the ielts to try and get better points. I had my LLB evaluated by Wes ( b4 some of u go ahead with brazen caustic comments, I had already done my ECA before stumbling on this forum) instead of the preferred iqas for law degrees.

Do I go ahead and get my LLB reassessed by iqas? Will change my points significantly or do I concentrate on the ielts alone.

I'm a Newbie here and I must commend you guys on how you look out eachother.

I'm in a state of confusion and I'd like to hear your take on this.

My first evaluation was completed in December 2016. My elder brother in Canada did not receive the hard copy for it as I made use of his address. I mailed them several times to send a copy to him but they relented until sometime in either March or April that they sent a new one to him and to IRCC.
Now the thing is in my new report my name is ONIKAN, Vanessa rather than ONIKAN, Vanessa Bella which my documents and passport bear. I sent WES a mail to correct it but no response till date. The earlier report of December 2016 bears ONIKAN, Vanessa Bella but I dont have the hard copy. They both have the same application number but different dates. I know usually IRCC will not request for the original copy because they confirm it directly from WES but I am worried to use the first report as I have no hard copy.
I recently got an ITA and I'm now confused on which report to upload.
What do you all reckon? Which report is safer for me to use considering all I have said above?
Thanks

Iqas also did not include my middle name on the Eca but will submit like that

Yes. You can request for the result of your medical test from the hospital where you carried out the test, usually for a price. Ours cost N3500 per person.

Please what clinic did you use

Hello house. I have a LLB law and B.L law.

My university degree which is LLB law gives me an Eca equivalent of first professional degree and I don't need to evaluate the B.L. Filling my EE profile should I indicate my LLB law as my most recent study. I did not mention my B.L(law skool certificate) at all as am not claiming points for it

Hello house please assist with this
Any lawyer in the house pls explain how you treated this

I think I have entered once chance.

I asked a friend of mine to help pay for the WES fee online. I asked him to do it for me because I was aware he had applied to several schools in canny without issues. He did tell me that he has someone in US that helps him to do it.

After paying him #70,000 to pay WES fee of CAD 234 (Higher than parallel market rate) . This is what I got this evening.

Guys what do you advise.

I suggest you pay to avoid further issues

They will have your past refusal. When you apply for PR, make sure your POF is solid and does not show that you have had it for a long time. It would throw up a red flag. Your POF could come via sale of property and cars, etc. Because they already have it in their records that you don't have that kind of money from your normal work.

Hello am I also have a similar issue
. I was refused study visa in January this year due to insufficient funds. Am soon to get Ita now and I now have sufficient fund which came into my account in March. The source of the fund is from a property I rented out for 5 years.i intend to get Ita in july and apply in October when the funds will be seated in my account for more than 6 months. My question now is do I still need to proof source of funds even if the money is more than 6 months in my account?

Spousal work experience doesn't add any points so you can still put it in your EE profile pre-ITA and move it to his "personal history" section in your e-APR post-ITA without having to provide employer's reference.

Thank you@40manlappy

Hello house I am the P.A and I don't want to include my spouse Work experience while filling the express entry application PRE-ITA to avoid the hassle of employers reference for him.

Will putting a nil work experience for my husband amount to misrepresentation?

Hi my people

Please I have a question on remarking my ielts, can i use my present result LRWS (8.5,7,7,7) to enter the pool while i wait for the remark result or will it be frozen as it was said on the British Council website?

Thanks all for your responses

You results looks fine. What your present CRS score and what is your desired score.

If you want a remark then you will have to wait till after the remark to get into the pool.

Hello,

My apologies, been a busy period.

Per the NOC,I chose NOC 4423 (by-law enforcement and other regulatory officers) I am a regulatory compliance specialist in telco, so, it might be very different from yours.

For the CRS tie, it simply means that if 5 people have 422 and the cut off point is 422, meanwhile, CIC wants only 4 people, the order of first come first serve will be deployed. Which means, the guys that entered the pool first will get ITA while the last person will not get.

Thankyou

Still filling the EE forms .Do i have to fill my spouse Work experience or just put it as a no (that he has no work experience). Will putting a no imply a misrepresentation?

For people waiting for the profiles to be updated with siblings' point, your profiles will be updated automatically but it might take days. See below extract from CIC website.

DEPARTMENT OF CITIZENSHIP AND IMMIGRATION
Current instructions last amended on June 6, 2017.

Notice: Amendments have been made to the Ministerial Instructions for the Express Entry Application Management System and came into force on June 6, 2017. The Ministerial Instructions were modified to:

Add Comprehensive Ranking System points for at least one sibling in Canada:
15 points for at least one sibling in Canada who is a permanent resident or Canadian citizen, residing in Canada and 18 or over.
Add Comprehensive Ranking System points for good French-language proficiency:
15 points for test results of the Niveaux de compétence linguistique canadiens (NCLC) at level 7 or higher in all four language skills in French (listening, speaking, reading and writing); and,
Another 15 points for test results of the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) at level 5 or higher in all four language skills in English, in addition of test results of NCLC at level 7 or more in all four language skills in French.
Add a new approach to rank candidates with the same Comprehensive Ranking System score:
The Express Entry system will continue to rank candidates by their CRS score, but where a CRS tie exists, all tied candidates will then be ranked based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profile.
For consistency and clarity, the Ministerial Instructions were also modified as follows:

Note: All changes are in place since June 6, 2017. Some foreign nationals might not see their Comprehensive Ranking System score change for several days.
All scores will be updated before the next round of invitations to apply where the Express Entry system detects that points are changed. There are no new questions to answer in the Express Entry profile. Foreign nationals do not need to update their profile unless they wish to provide new information related to these changes.
Applications for permanent residence for foreign nationals invited to apply before June 6, 2017 will be assessed based on the previous Ministerial Instructions.

What Crs tie?

@Yimiton I have been trying to reach you on my NOC issue?

Stick to the NOC classification on CIC's website.

Thanks but the issue still remains my NOC is not under 2011 but 2016. What NOC can i choose for a regulatory compliance officer under 2011 NOC as CIC uses 2011 NOC

Hello ,

On the issue of NOC. Inoticed my NOC is not under the 2011 NOC classification but has been included under NOC 1122 under NOC 2013 classification. I also noticed that CIC still use NOC 2011 and hardly refer to the 2016 NOC. Is this a problem

@ysmd says she wants to put compliance officer in her job history and put accountant in her personal history for the exact same period, is that not something a VO would wonder about?

Compliance officer being 2014 till date (which is the period am claiming points from).then am accounting experience 2012- 2014) which am not claiming points for.

If it won't fly can someone tell me how to rectify my marriage cert before I put in my application

This is important for those who are yet to submit not to make mistakes. If you go married in 2016 and your job at that time was working in a bank as a customer service manager, you will or should have entered in the place for profession BANKER. Now when filling this form the NOC for banker and customer service are similar. A LOE stating that a generic profession of banker instead of being specific job title would pose no problem. However if at the time of marriage your profession was banker and you entered lawyer (because that's what you graduated from school with) , I think that poses a problem

What am saying in the long run is that your NOC in your marriage certificate should be in sync with your 10years history and job history if applicable.

Someone here explained how a different NOC on marriage certificate has held his friend back from PPR. Think about it why is your profession at the time of your marriage not the same as your work history. The VOs are trained for this job to look for loopholes.

I hope I haven't confused anyone. This stuff is important.

I hv worked as an accountant within the past ten years 2012- 2014.My reason for putting accounting was becos I always wanted to practice as an accountant
. If I show add my certificate from Ican will it still be a problem? The NOC am claiming for is compliance officer while my accounting experience will be In my personal history

Morbolar:

In addition to this, can one explain the difference in the profession stated on the marriage cert and NOC used? For instance if you studied Pharm and the profession on ur Marriage cert is Pharmacist....but u are not practicing as a pharm but as a product manager NOC 0601. Pls clarify cos i dont assume these things are cast in stone

Thanks
Hello am in a similar case. I am a chartered accountant but work in a bank as a compliance officer since 2014. On my marriage certificate (got married 2015) my occupation is accountant can this affect me?

1) 6 months

2) its advisable to if you can. But at least 4 months statement before entering the pool (this is hoping you dont submit as soon as you get ITA, you can use part of your 90 days to make up for the remaining 6 months)

3) This shouldnt be a problem.
