Religion / If You Are Disorganized, You Are Not God-like, Here's Why. by yummyyummy: 8:43am On Oct 15, 2017 |
http://www.musingsamplified.com/2017/10/daily-word-tonic-14102017-if-you-are.html Genesis 1:1,31(KJV) In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth...And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. Born again (checked) Spirit filled (checked) Tongue speaking (checked) Etc Etc (checked). Fantastic! But are you organized? Are you tidy? Or is clumsiness synonymous with your personality? You CANNOT maximize destiny and enjoy to the fullest your redemptive blessings if you are not organized. Don't take my word for it rather consider how God, the Almighty himself operates. 1. Before He made the fishes and sea creatures he made water first. 2. Before the animals and creeping things He made the grass, herb yielding seed and tree yielding fruit. 3. Before He made man, He made sure all man would need for survival was available. Now that's order, spirituality is not an excuse to be clumsy, dirt and untidy. Be like your father in heaven, let your life be organized. Do have a God-full day. P.S: Not saved yet? That is you have no personal relationship with Jesus Christ. As a child of God, idiocy or cluelessness is not your portion. The Holy Spirit is your access to robust understanding meant to shape and add color to every sphere of our lives. When the Lord inspires, understanding comes and with understanding comes life, abundant life as seen in the relationship between the two scriptures below; Psalm 119:144 (KJV) The righteousness of thy testimonies is everlasting: give me understanding, and I shall live. ↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕ John10:10 (KJV) The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. First step is to allow the Holy Spirit control you, richly indwell you then comes inspiration and understanding follows. With this sequece, you will begin to undoubtedly enjoy abundant life in all areas of life. Religion / Hilarious Video: How Powerful Are You? by yummyyummy: 12:32pm On Jul 25, 2017 |
Watching the clip http://www.musingsamplified.com/2017/07/hilarious-video-daily-word-tonic.html?m=1 as shared by IROKOtv on facebook reminds me of the words of the bible... Psalms 66:3 (KJV) Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee. The corollary to the last sentence is that through the smallness of thy power shall they enemies (manifesting in form of spiritual, physical, emotional, financial, psychological, mental etc challenges) triumph over you. How then do you get power? ↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓ Act 1:8 (KJV) But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. No Holy Spirit No Power. How then do you have access to the Holy Spirit to be empowered? Simply ask God. You have the redemptive right to be given according to ↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓ Luke 11:13 (KJV) If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? |
Religion / If The Lord Does Not Help You No One Else Can. No One by yummyyummy: 11:49am On Jul 25, 2017 |
Source>>> http://www.musingsamplified.com/2017/07/daily-word-tonic-22072017-if-lord-does.html?m=1 2Kings 6:27 (KJV) And he said, If the LORD do not help thee, whence shall I help thee? out of the barnfloor, or out of the winepress? This may sound incredulous knowing the propensity of humans to depend on another for help but it is the very truth. Consider the relationship between the scriptures below; John 3:27 (KJV) John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven. ↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕↕ 2Kings 6:25-27 (KJV) And there was a great famine in Samaria: and, behold, they besieged it, until an ass's head was sold for fourscore pieces of silver, and the fourth part of a cab of dove's dung for five pieces of silver. And as the king of Israel was passing by upon the wall, there cried a woman unto him, saying, Help, my lord, O king. And he said, If the LORD do not help thee, whence shall I help thee? out of the barnfloor, or out of the winepress? The reason why people are often disappointed is because they look for help in the wrong places. From the scripture above, the woman was looking up to the King for help but man is limited while God is limitless. The King could not help him and he rightly acknowledged this thus directing her to the KING OF KINGS. Yes, God will most times use human channel to bring help but understanding and recognizing that He is the source of the help enables us to look unto him FIRST and ALONE according to Psalms 121:1-2 and Psalms 147:10-11 Need help? Turn to the right source. He is Jehovah Ezer, THE LORD MY HELPER and the good news is that He lives up to His name all the time. Politics / It Is Time For Lai Mohammed To Stop Talking And Start Communicating by yummyyummy: 11:37pm On Jul 20, 2017 |
Source>>> http://www.musingsamplified.com/2017/07/it-is-time-for-lai-mohammed-to-stop.html?m=1 Preamble 1. This is for all the current opposition parties who may one day become the ruling party. A vociferous spokesperson of your party does not necessarily translate to an effective Minister of Information and Culture. Halo effect it is called. 2. Thoughtless people are careless talkers. Nigeria has a fair share of thoughtless leaders hence incessant careless talks. “Most states today have more than one festival a year, but the packaging and lack of capacity has not enabled them to make the most out of these festivals. There’s a particular masquerade in the south east, it takes 100 people to dress him, another 100 people to UnCloth him. If this masquerade is well-packaged, it can provide employment in one week for more than 1000 young men. These are some of the untapped potentials.” – Lai Mohammed, Nigeria’s Minister of Information and Culture Above are the words of our backwardly but nonetheless aspirational Minister of Information and Culture. This statement was in 2016. I thought I’d heard it all until four days ago, precisely Saturday 15 July, 2017 when the minister during a visit to the headquarters of the Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON) outdid himself with another bombshell. He said the Federal Government plans to stop the production of Nigerian movies and music outside the country. According to him, “this government has agreed that henceforth, whatever we consume in Nigeria in terms of music and films must be made in Nigeria. We cannot continue to go to South Africa or any other country to produce our films and then send them back to be consumed in Nigeria. The Broadcasting Code and the Advertising Code are very clear on this. For you to classify a product as a Nigerian product, it must have a certain percentage of Nigerian content” According to him, this is bad for our economy and unfair to consumers because “when they get there, they will patronise the economy of that country and then bring the products back to Nigeria for us to consume. It is like somebody going to China or Japan to make a product that looks like palm wine and bring it back home to label it Nigerian palm wine”. These words sound patriotic but has the government also been devoted to the improvement of the creative industry in Nigeria? Our honorable minister should consider the following before making such pronouncements next time. Politics / Three Things The Lekki-vi Flood Says About Nigeria by yummyyummy: 11:21am On Jul 10, 2017 |
Source>>>http://www.musingsamplified.com.ng/2017/07/three-things-lekki-vi-flood-says-about.html?m=1 My good thoughts are with all the victims of flooding in Nigeria over the weekend. Sadly, lives were lost in Suleja. I pray for comfort and succor for the families of those whose lives were cut short by that flood. In Lagos, Nigeria’s own mega city and poster boy for urbanization, the rain decided to pay special attention to Lekki-Victoria Island area of the state. Streets quickly became rivers for kayaking. Properties were destroyed. One thing I can tell for certain is that auto mechanics will be smiling to the bank in the coming days due to the many cars damaged by the flood. The rain has come and gone, at least for now, let's hope that it won't come back with renewed vigour in the course of the week and victims have started counting their losses. We can blame everything else for the flooding, even the village people but please Lagosians, do not pin this on global warming because that will be the lamest excuse to give for our inability as a society to evolve, to be better and to do better. Here are three lessons to learn from that flood. Even though it happened in Lagos, this wonderful state is a microcosm of Nigeria therefore the lessons here is applicable nationwide. 1. Our setup is largely a charade, an amalgamation full of sad ironies Victoria Island (VI), Lekki, Victoria Garden City (VGC) and Banana Island arguably holds 80% of Lagos' wealth. Arguably because this is my personal assumption based on intuition fuelled by Pareto principle and not empirical evidence. VI is the commercial nerve center of Lagos, although Ikeja may try to raise eyebrows on this. Lekki, VGC and Banana Island create an impression of wealth and luxury. Just two days of heavy rainfall and these places were overwhelmingly flooded. Drive through the streets of Lekki and one will be amazed how poorly the drainage system was designed. So that is my point? Rich place, poor infrastructure. Nigeria comes to mind. Oil rich yet poor in all ramifications. Sad but true.
