What solutions would you proffer?

It's simple, and it's the responsibility of the government. They all are leaving for a reason which we all know. So it's up to the government to make available what it is they are seeking in overseas.

Health / Impending Healthcare Crisis: The Alarming Doctor Exodus In Nigeria. by yuskel(m): 6:00pm On May 26
Yesterday, Saturday, I was at Hetta Medical Center in Sango Ota, Ogun State, to see a doctor because I needed to know what exactly was wrong with my health.

I arrived at exactly 10 am and met the receptionist, to whom I handed my card so she could look for my file in their database. Afterwards, I took a seat at the reception, staring at their plasma TV while waiting to be called to see the doctor. There were other people there as well, waiting to see the doctor—many more than I was used to seeing there.

I wasn't attended to until after one hour when my name was called to meet a nurse at the back of the reception who checked my vitals (blood pressure and body temperature). After recording them, she ordered me to sit and wait to see the doctor.

It was another hour and a half, around 12:30 pm, before I was finally called to go see the doctor.

While waiting impatiently at the reception before I was called to go see the doctor, I heard a man beside me voice his displeasure to the matron who passed by, saying that he had been there for more than two hours and had yet to see any doctor. He inquired from the woman what the problem was, as this wasn't the norm since he had been visiting the hospital.

The woman apologized profusely and explained that they were badly in need of qualified doctors at the moment. She said two of their doctors had just traveled to the UK with their families a few days ago, leaving them with only one doctor at the moment (whom she was certain was also preparing to leave very soon). She went on to lament how this has been the trend with doctors in their hospital and other private and government hospitals for some time now. Once they are employed, in less than a year or two, they are out of the country.

She said the shortage or lack of qualified doctors in both private and government hospitals is a challenge that is really biting hard these days.

And right there, it started to dawn on me the negative effect of brain drain in our medical sector. Something needs to be done as soon as possible before this becomes a national crisis.

This is what should be baffling our National Assembly and not changing our national anthem.

Many thanks Bro.
I have deactivated the auto accept already.
I would also try to stop incoming ride request next time I work.

However where would I see the option to stop new incoming request on the app during a trip?

Felicity0001:

No space in the moniker bro it's either felicity001 or felicity0001

As for your issue, either you stop incoming request while on a ride or you don't accept incoming request while on a ride.
Also, deativate auto accept.

Wish you speed

I am a new driver here and I have been observing this thread for a while. However I need an assistant with the Bolt App settings.

Bolts usually send new rider requests to me when I am about to finish a current ride, and most time this new rider will call immediately asking me where I am bla bla bla. Out of being impatient most of them cancel which really affect my Driver Score. If I canceled it too it will also affect my score.

So the question is how can I set the app not to send new rider request until I am done completely with a current ride?

U will be asked of your location during registration. So if u want to work in Lag u pick Lagos. If u pick Abeokuta, u cant operate in Lagos.

Get peppermints leaves or spray and put in all places they like to stay. It will drive them away. Thank me later

I heard this also works effectively to chase them off.

Give them eviction notice. If they refuse to move, then send area boys to throw aways their loads.

Cheif when last did you go for your mental check up?
I think it's high time you go see them at Yaba.

You are correct, their is a trash bin nearby.
Thanks for this insight.

sixtus3606:

Oga, it's either you park close to a dustbin, or you place a dustbin close to your car.

Now you know the solution.

Buy charcoal and place it at strategic points in the car. Rats can smell the charcoal and will be fooled into thinking that the place is burning.

They will not return. I had a similar issue last year while in Nigeria. I saw a post here and did the same thing.

Just build a small house for the rats. They are mammals just like us and have families to feed and cloth, they also need shelter which is why they use you car.

Is this sarcasm?
