A 19- year old student of Law at the Ahmadu Bello University is suspected to be down with the deadly Ebola virus in Kaduna. The Public Relations Officer, Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, ABUTH, Bilyaminu Umar, while confirming the case on Monday when contacted via phone said the student was diagnosed at ABUTH, Shika, Zaria, and that he showed some symptoms associated the the disease. “Yes, there was a case of a suspected Ebola patient. He is with the Faculty of Law, ABU, Zaria and will be placed on isolation. I am out of town, but will confirm details on my return from a trip,” he said. However, experts have said not all patients who manifest some symptoms of the virus end up testing positive to the disease. Although the ABUTH spokesperson confirmed the development, only the Federal Ministry of Health, in conjunction with the Kaduna state government, can authoritatively confirm if the case is indeed that of Ebola. Politics / Re: FG Directs Federal Universities To Re-Open Immediately by zabilon(m): 3:01pm On Nov 28, 2013 |
kokoA: The both parties are going about it the wrong way. FG cannot force these guys back to work. ASUU is used to threats right from the military era so GEJ is child's play for them. Government should just ensure that they keep to their own side of the bargain, this will make ASUU loose sympathy and they will have no choice but to go back to work. Besides, this year is gone already, no meaningful academic work can be done before the festive periods. Both parties should use the remaining part of the year to resolve this nonsense. SHUT UP.... HOW CAN YOU SAY NO MEANINGFUL ACADEMIC WORK WILL BE DONE THIS YEAR?... DO YOU KNOW SOME SCHOOLS WERE WRITTING EXAMS BEFORE THE STRIKE?DO YOU KNOW SOME PEOPLE WERE JUST A PAPER TO GRADUATION OR NEXT LEVEL? DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY STUDENTS COULDN'T GO TO CAMP CUZ THIER SCRIPT WASN'T MARKED..... NO OPEN YOUR LAZY MOUTH DEY TALK SAY TILL NEXT YEAR... HALF D YEAR NEVER DO YOU'RE LAZY SELF TO REST?! |
