Pls those who recently did Dropbox IW should assist with my enquiry. Thanks

ZainMili:
Please can someone assist me?
I submitted my passport for IW drop box on 05/10/22 together with the email requesting me to do so at the DHL office in VI but still no update even after mailing the consulate.

I initially withdrew my passport after 6 weeks of using the drop box IW as I didn’t get response and needed to travel to UK and for this reason it too them 2 months plus to allow me to resubmit through email acknowledgement.

Please is this how IW drop box is currently experiencing delay in Lagos? Can anyone assist me with good advice on what to do next?

Pls folks who use the drop box IW of recent, what’s the time frame you got response to come pick up your passport?

I feel u should get started because it took my guy more than two months to get his ready.
I did mine on the 7th of this month,I paid first at our consulate in JLT Dubai and went with 2 passport size photograph and got my passport renewed the same day and I collected it same day also.
Just do either PCR test or book laser DIP test and make sure is valid within 48 hours and you can proceed.
Best of luck!

good morning and thank you for the reply. but please I don't know the licensing body for microbiology how can I get that and concerning COGS exam. where can I register for it. thank you
Don’t they give u guys license to practice as a microbiologist? If they don’t, then I will suggest u access the site and see what are the requirements for ur profession.
COGS is not an exam. It’s a letter from ur licensing body stating u r eligible and licensed to practice and u have no issues with ur council.U just request for it from ur licensing council and it would be sent to where it’s required. Just do a google search please.

Good afternoon everyone.please I need answers to my questions.thank you.
I would like to ask what a current practice lincence is. and if it's compulsory for a dha license or it's the same as letter of experience from previous employer
then am a microbiologist. and I want to apply for dha under the allied, please is my bsc enough to apply for this license. thank you
Hello. Please check some few pages back. DrKay, Justi4jesu and myself answered a similar question. Current license should be this year’s (2018 ) license issued by the appropriate licensing body for ur profession (Microbiology)and yes it’s compulsory and it’s not the same as employment letter. U may also need certificate of good standing (COGS) from ur licensing body (council). In addition to ur Bsc, u will need ur transcript (supporting document), at least 2 years post graduation experience letter and some other documents. Will be here to answer further questions. Best of luck

Please I have a question for all the medical practitioners or someone with d answer to my question.

I am planning to apply for DHA licensing and I need the step by step procedure, as am a bit confused. My questions are:

Do I need to get Visa first before I begin the process of applying for the DHA license?

Is it after you have passed the prometric you apply for the license in DHA site?

Is it the DHA that will fix the prometric exam and centre for you, If no pls which site does it?

What was the cost for the exam and DHA license application?

How long does it take to process your application and get them send you the license after application?

The questions mat be in-congruent, but just give me the right&first step to take and other subsequent steps.

Thanks.
1. U don’t need to get a visa first before u can proceed. Just have all the necessary documents scanned and proceed by signing up at www.dha.gov.ae
2. After passing your Prometric exam which u can write in Ghana because it’s closest to us or in UAE., u would be issued Eligibility Letter. It’s with the Eligibility Letter u will use to get a job. After securing a job, u will be required to upload ur employment letter/labour card and Issuance of malpractice form, then ur license would be sent to u via courier. Mind u , ur employer will be the one to pay for cost of ur license.
3. You choose the center for urself. I choose Ghana because it’s closest to me. Once u have paid for ur PSV, they will send u a link for the Prometric exam where u will choose ur center and date.
4. The cost of the application varies with ur profession. First stage is 210AED for credential approval. PSV is 1338AED (5%VAT included) and the Prometric exam 240USD
5. It depends on u bro. If u have all the documents ready and u have ur cash (master card because u pay online) it won’t really take long.
Credentials approval takes like 72hrs. That’s if they don’t request for additional certificates/documents. Once u u r notified, u pay for PSV, it will take another 48hrs to generate ur Eligibility ID. Once u have the ID, it will take like 3 to 5 days for it to be activated. Then u can use ur ID to register for the Prometric exam. Once u choose the available date , u can proceed to write ur exam.
U MUST have 2 years post graduation experience.
U can buzz me for further info. Best of luck bro. Be positive, u will surely pass the exam. Mind u.... BEST OPTION WINS THE DAY IN DHA EXAM.
Best wishes.....

You can ask the embassy. And the Ministry of Interior.

If you carefully read my replies. I didn't say all whom previously did it are doing it wrong. I said that is the new rule book they have silently started using. Don't worry...we will soon stay hearing stories that touch the bumbum.

You don't need to believe me. Just go confirm at the UAE embassy in Nigeria or Ministry of Interior in UAE. Not a big deal.
Bro I just asked a question. I’m sorry if it made u angry. Guess we r all here to help one another. Thanks for the info u shared. Best wishes

It is the Ministry of Interior decision not your employer's decision. So if your employer only collects only the PCC certificate from you, they can be told to ask for the biometric part as well. So you are at the mercy of the staffer and policies of the Ministry of Interior Affairs.
Pls where did you get this info from?. People that did attestation when they attested only the certificate and recently secured a job were not asked to attest the biometric page at the Embassy also. Please I will need u to explain better how u got this info. #justasking
