BK or whatever.

First and foremost, u r biased and mischievious.

Your question is anything but objective. Why didnt you  ask-'Are Igbos, ' rather than 'Why are Igbos, '
This means that u v already convicted us b4 taking us to court.

Brother, yes u r my bros as long as u r a patriotic Nigerian,we need ur apology. U insulted us.Ur statements and claims are highly provocative and uncalled for.

We(Igbos) have a forgiving heart.Do the needful and rephrase ur question and I'l give you what ever answer u need. Thats a promise I mean to keep.

Until then,I hope that going forward,u and people like u would respect the spirit and constitution of this great NL forum in ur posts and contributions.

Politics / Re: I’m Vindicated: [Nigerian] Banks Were Not Examined By Soludo In The last 5 Years by Zak: 1:07pm On Jan 10, 2010
Hello guys,

How could we be so naive and short-sighted?
Why must we crucify Soludo?

Following the current global economic meltdown, remember that without Soludo's consolidation, there would be no banks left standing for Sanusi to audit.Sanusi would have inherited failed, distressed banks.Just as in America and Europe.

Like it or not,Soludo was and remains a genius. If he were still CBN Gov,he would have handled this crisis in a manner that would not put our economy at risk. How many bank workers lost their jobs during Soludo'time?
How many are out of job today courtsey of SLS?

I'm not saying that Soludo is a saint, but he remains the best thing that has happened to our economy. That's why we need him to come home and help transform our state.

The PROFESSOR had 5 offers from intl.organizations.But he turned them domn.He doesnt want to be a global economic and academic icon when his own state is in economic and political ruins.Charity they say begins at home.
So,at least we owe him our support and understanding.

In conclusion, could you pause for a second and think of what would have happened if Nigerian banks were not consolidated in 2005? If you answer this question honestly,I put it to you that you would not find the voice to insult the erudite professor again.

Thank you.
Politics / Breaking News-yaradua Returns To Nigeria Next Week: Source, bbc by Zak: 12:04pm On Jan 09, 2010
BREAKING NEWS:

Information reaching our news desk this morning reveal that the long awaited and ailing Nigeria leader,President Musa Yaradua, would return to the country early next week, next month, next year or even in 2020!

However it has become imperative that we document his landmark achievements so far,as Commander in Chief of the Federal Republic.

Our ailing President has been tauted as the greatest leader the beleagered nation has known since gaining Independence from the British imperialists on Oct.1,1960.This conclusion is precepitated on the fact that he has managed to deliver democracy divivdends to the door steps of millions of Nigerians, despite his obvious physiological and mental challenges.

Unlike President Obama who won the Nobel Peace prize because of his potential achievements on the global peace thearter,Yaradua won the prize of the greatest Nigerian leader of all times because of the following indelble milestones:

-The Notorious 7 point Agenda(woeful failure,mission unaccomplished)

-Self-Imposed 6000mwts power target(disastrous performance)

-Adoption of AAondoka Constitution,2007-date(Successful).Features:
(a)Invisible President=Invible Presidency=Unknown Govt=Anarchy.Which means that Yaradua or Turai can Govern Nigera from any where in the world as long as they wish.
(b)Legalization of Oluwole.Example, sighning of Nigeria's budget by an unknown President in a foreing land.
(c)Illegal swearing in of Nigeria's new Chief Justice.
(d)Still counting as Aandoka's Constitution of selfish neseccesity is still in the works.

-Inclusion of Yaradua=Snail in Nigeria's official meal menu.

-Inclusion of Nigeria on the list of states with large concentration of potential terrorists. In other words, countries who are unable and unwilling to combat the social evil.So we have Iran.Iraq,Somali,Yemen, etc as new allies!

-Oxford Dictionary adoption of the word;MUTALLAB. See below:

Mutallab<mu-ta-lab>;n : A rich kid who attempts to throw his life away for silly reasons. Synonyms - 'Idiot, Ode,'

Usage Examples: 'Are you a Mutallab?' 'Stop this Mutallabness.' 'Get out of the road you Muta-Muta.'

Local Dialect Use>'Wo ma Mutallab ori e', 'Commot for, diaaaa! Mutallab oshi', 'Aga ma Mutallab isi gi kita kita'

accepted abbreviation> Mu-Mu

-Enthronment of mass unemployment in the system.(Mission accomplished). Thanks to Sanusi.

-Rebranding of Nigeria.(Mission accomplished?). But we dont see how you can rebrand unemployed and hungry people.Especially when our thiefing and overbloated leaders are exempted from the rebranding excercise!

Dear reader, going by the forgoing,it is hard to believe that Yaradua is not our greatest President so far.
And dont be surprised if this piece turns out to be a product of the great Oluwole industry in Lagos,SW Nigeria.

Note that this industry and other sytemic failures of our times are due to the generic failures of our successive leaders from Indepence till date.

Politics / Re: Senate Gives Obama's Admin 7-day Utimatum To Remove Nigeria From The Black List by Zak: 6:58pm On Jan 06, 2010
to be honest with u,Nigeria deserves to be blacklisted.
What with our penchant for rampant breakdown of law and order?
why wont terrorism thrive in Nigeria? Look it didnt start today with Farouk.
Unless we address the issue of insecurity in Nigeria,Boko Haram and others will continue to torment the country.

Jobs/Vacancies / A Job At Last by Zak: 12:08pm On Jan 13, 2007

The Journey was anything but EASY.
I served in Zaki LGA, Bauchi State. My three-month stint in Lagos, after NYSC POP on August 17 2006., in the UNIVERISTY OF UNEMPLOYMENT was the most challenging and trying of my young life.
But by God, I prevailed.
Fellow Nairalanders, so shall you prevail in Jesus Name, Amen. I submitted CV,wrote tests uncountable. Many Banks are still calling me for tests n interviews. However, they came a minute too late. For I had already pitched my tent with IBTC Chatered PLC.
To the Glory of GOD, we resumed work in Nov. 2006.
So shall u resume yours this New Year, amen.
Best Regards,
Zaki CLO Emeritus.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Intercontinental Bank Final Test Result by Zak: 3:44pm On Oct 23, 2006
I understand that one of the purpose of the current Intercontinental Bank Share offer is to raise funds for the setting up of 34 new branches in the country.

That is where we job seekers come in. They need us. That test cannot be such a scam. Unless the bank is a scam as well. I hope I am right.

For now, we can only pray and wait. No matter what, no matter the kind of short-changing potential employers may do, people like you and I who don't have "longlegs" are going to get jobs!

AMEN.

Thank you, nairalanders,
Zaki CLO,emeritus.
