Politics / Re: Why Buhari Is More Loyal To Niger Republic Than Nigeria By Farooq Kperogi by zaki2: 1:56pm On Aug 04, 2022
Buhari wouldn't have been this reckless and careless in running Nigeria if he doesn't get the the amount of loyalty and support he gets from the Yorubas.

Tinubu may end up winning this election under a heavily tribal and nepotism influenced election.
They have been playing this card right from the onset. No wonder he said he is ready to fight dirty.
My joy is, he may end up the man to finally sink the ship out of his greed and personal ambition.

Apart from relocating to Lagos like flies, the terrorist pigs haven’t accomplished a single thing.
If you don’t believe me, please visit Aba, Anambra, imo and Enugu…and I promise you that it wouldn’t take you too long to realize why the igbos can’t exist without Lagos..
These same Igbos left your Lagos, and the entire Nigeria, to their east, in 1966, but your parents, grandpas and uncles fought them hard, and killed 3 millions to bring them back to your Nigeria. Are you guys not stupid and crazy to think Igbos will die without Lagos?
Have your tribe ever fought to leave Nigeria? Very stupid comment from a stupid fellow. Mumuna angry

Stupid revisionist write up. Igbos made Obi the Ibo candidate from the get-go.
People are beginning to see through your dishonesty. Now you want an issue based campaign, I thought Tinubu sweat soaked agbada was enough to get your candidate to Aso Rock villa. How many weeks did you spend on that nonsense?
Suddenly they want an issue based campaign!

He said this fielding questions on Arise Tv Morning Show.

“This election will not be based on ‘my turn’, ethnicity, and religion. It will be based on a Nigerian agenda to save this Nigeria. Nigeria is in a coma, and it needs a specialist, and that is why I’m offering to save its life or it will die. I’m appealing to people to vote to save Nigeria, and to save Nigeria is to hire the best.”

Check the politics section n see how igbos are limiting d election to religion base which will later come back to hurt them
Igbos are not the only group speaking against the all Muslim ticket. Check very well. Nigerians, including some prominent Yorubas are also voicing against it. Have you noticed that Obedient movement cut across Nigerian ethnic groups, including the south west?
I would like to see BATIST front issues, rather than ethnicity. Imagine, even Lagos state governor self. mitcheeew!

It should be an issue based contest, not tribal nor religion.
Politics / Why Are Tinubu Supporters Trying So Hard To Ethnicise 2023 Election? by zaki2: 9:53am On Jul 14, 2022
Observe their comments both on this forum and other social network, it's all pointing to one direction, ethnicity.
They don't sell the qualities of Bola Amed Tinubu, but his ethnicity. Most of his supporters doing videos online banked on why Yorubas should support Tinubu because he is son of the soil.
Pete Obi supporters cut across board. The Obedient Movement is basically hinged on competence, and Peter Obi has made it clear in his interviews. He hammers on his vision and mission, but that's not the case with others.
My question is, why not tell us the stellar qualities of Tinubu, and why Nigerians should vote for him, rather than his ethnicity?
Why not copy from Obi and make this election an issue based contest, rather than ethnic base contest?

Modified:

They attack Peter Obi movement and try hard to brand it an Igbo movement. Meanwhile, we have large numbers of Obedient and Peter supporters from the Yoruba ethnic group. Tinubu supporters should try and change tactics. Nigerians are fed up with ethnic based politics. If we must vote, it should be based on competence and capacity, not ethnicity.

I don't understand how these Tinubu supporters always resort to pitching Igbos against others? This is the reason I fear greatly if Tinubu should win, because what these guys will do to Igbos will unimaginable. This political hate is something else.
The question the stupid OP should have asked is if any Igbo Muslim has ever contest for any elective post in the South East?

Imagine threatening to kill supporters of other candidates in a democratic setting

I know before election they will do far worse stupid things
If you watched that video with an unbiased mind, you will observed that the speaker is a typical south southerner, probably from Edo.

Besides, he may even be an imposter paid to do damages to the Obi movement. Try and free yourselves from tribalism nwokem

Reno don break the casket make dem kukuma bury everybody with Mat.
I am truly sorry for Peter obi supporters, Tinubu ought to be their target but because of their wide mouth they have made reno his bulletproof.
I hate Nigerians online with their loud mouth, if i were a foreigner i for done lauch xenophobia against nigerians because of their loud, boastful, aggressive and toxic nature. This brings us back to the last BB AFRICA where Nigerias candidate Tayo was clearly favored to win until Nigerians with their loud mouth and toxicity started bragging and insulting the rest of Africa till they all teamed up against nigerias representative.
Nigerians are replicating the same pattern in the music world today insulting American artists, and rubbiNG the achievements of afrobeats artist in the faces of other international artists and telling everyone who cares to know that afrobeats is ruling the world. South african music, ghanian music, jamaican music and currently the US music have all ruled the music scenes without much noise from citizens of those countries, they know how to be magnanimous in victory, unlike the primitivity that holds sway in nigeria.
The other day, one idiot was saying the reason why futures "wait for you" debuted top 1 on billboard hot 100 is because Tems featured in it, until he started collecting wotowoto from American commenters.
It's like u guys don't know what the blacks in the US are capable of doing, same way Peter obi supporters don't know the damage reno is capable of inflicting on Peter obis candidature
I would agree with you, even though, Reno is clearly working a on payroll to damage other candidates and promote his principals, but you see this bragging part, I agree with you 100 percent.
And I will add, that this is spur by the intense tribal rivalry and dick measurement that permeates Nigerian cyberspace, irrespective of the fact that Nigeria is a giant shiit hole, with failed governance all round, we still find some kind of blind exctasy in bragging over nothing but feel good nonsense. If we can only be honest with ourselves, we will never brag online but factor into reality on the best format of salvaging the shiit hole. But that may happen in the nearest future, when we begin to tell ourselves nothing but the truth.
