MaziOmenuko: Good write-up Mazi, I can imagine the work and analysis that you put in to produce that. Like you rightly noted, chip deployment at this stage of the game is going to decide a lot of moves up nd down the table in the closing legs of the season. Especially when some are looking to deploy their chips with the aim of winning specific H2H battles in some other mini leagues rather than concentrating on massive point hauls to improve rankings. But then, that’s the beauty of the game. GW35 is a hole in the ground, a pitfall and I am of the opinion that planning for it will decide how many points anyone gets in the run in between now and the end of the season. Your weighting of the chips is interesting to note. I would rate them differently. And in weighing them, I am of the opinion that one must consider current team, gameweeks possibilities and the strategies one plans to adopt in the run in, so in that respect I think we would all have different weights. Given the closeness between a DGW34 and a BGW35, a free hit chip is a more massive advantage than a WC in my opinion. I am down in 17th and believe a top 10 finish is feasible....... so I will simply aim for a top 5 finish and hope I don’t fall too far down. I hope there is space Well, the field is set.........let the games begin. Flaming Eagles |

MaziOmenuko: My team is in the stalkers league. And I asked if I could register more than one team this season. So trust me, I am not adverse to staking for more than one team. More fun that way. So see ya next season |

sod09: Guy, read what I wrote na, said I finished in top 20 last season and asked for codes this season but didn’t get. Won’t say it if it ain’t so, and you can check this same thread ........ let’s just have rules. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2017/2018 by Zamzummim: 3:39pm On Apr 01, 2018 |
sod09: Thanks for clarifying bro. But it does not work either, they told me to start at Conference cup two seasons ago and I won it. So I won the Conference league two seasons ago and finished top 20 last season and didn’t get codes this season. So, that’s why I say make rules and stick with them. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2017/2018 by Zamzummim: 1:57pm On Apr 01, 2018 |
Nihilstjnr: I don’t think what you just stated here is the rule, I finished in the top 20 in this league last season and I was not given the code to join the FA Cup this season, even though I asked. That’s is why I say if you want to make it standardized, set rules and stick with them. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2017/2018 by Zamzummim: 1:53pm On Apr 01, 2018 |

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2017/2018 by Zamzummim: 12:45pm On Apr 01, 2018 |
MaziOmenuko: Mazi, I hear you. Like all games, there are rules. Clearly this has not occurred before and Mukina did not contemplate it happening that is why the league is still open. So I personally will stand by whatever he/she decides and will take out any team he/she says should leave. In so doing she would have set out the rule and that will become the rule going forward. So, I will simply wait until we hear from him/ her. The teams I manage are not all in the same leagues because some have rules, either qualifying or against having two teams. All the Nairaland Cups have such rules, This would be a good opportunity to set out the rules for the general league. Either on number of teams or when teams cannot join. Mazi, I greet you. |

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2017/2018 by Zamzummim: 12:06am On Apr 01, 2018 |
2eggs1goal: People join the Nairaland league every game week. Mukina does not lock it up in GW1. Same way people join all big leagues that are not exclusive. If I had joined into No. 1,000 now you won’t care. If Mukina wants to take out my team, he should also take out all teams that did not join in GW 1. And guy, I don’t care if I win it or not, just adding fun in the game. After this game week Viqta still goes top. But you bet an gonna be chasing his ass down! That’s the fun in the game. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2017/2018 by Zamzummim: 12:00am On Apr 01, 2018 |
Nihilstjnr: The cups are exclusive. Mukina gives people codes based on their performance the year before. The Nairaland classic is however an all comers affair. Come, play and win. I am a member of Nairaland, I have been playing on Nairaland for 3 seasons now and I am entitled to join. All comers bro. Your team is not even playing in the Nigerian league, you are in England set. Dont be scared of a little competition, go tweek your team and try harder. |

When this comes on stream it will change life as we know it! It will probably be one of the biggest scientific corner man has turned.....imagine the possibilities: .....no need for electric wires if electricity can be transmitted wirelessly ...... engines designed to generate power from fossil fuels and any other source become obsolete ......electricity generation become king of the block! add your possibilities.... awesome |

Car Talk / Re: Man Crying As His Range Rover Burns (Photos, Video) by Zamzummim: 8:59pm On Jul 21, 2016 |
Man on the ground crying because his Range Rover is burning - that is the picture of a poor misguided man who bought a Range Rover with his last money to show off to friends and relatives. If you can really afford a Range Rover, you can easily afford insurance! Imagine the story of he had insurance: Man steps out of burning Range Rover and calmly walks to the side. Stands there watching as bystanders pour water and sand to try to stop the fire. when they dont succeed and it is a complete write off, he takes out his mobile phone from his pocket, takes a picture of the burnt out car for insurance purposes, hails a taxi and zooms off. And everyone will gather around and wonder, and this Nairalander will post here how they say a BIG MAN calmly watch a Range Rover burn....... WHEN YOU ARE BIG, YOU ARE BIG. 1 Like |

Cancity234: Hmmmm, still a close one. both of you on 31 points each now. but it appears Kane is in line for 1 bonus point which wins it for Viruz. If the 1 bonus gets scratched off because of his yellow card....... you still lose..... You both have 1 goal each so it comes down to number of changes made. you have 38 and he has 37. pele. See you next season! wish me luck |

Cancity234:Error ma guy! I am not playing Abana FC in the Conference cup this week. Look well. Yes, i probably might lose the h2h this week, but i am sure you have not noticed that it is a tactical move on my part . lemme explain ........ even if i lose the h2h this week, you still cant go ahead of me, that means i end the season as head of the Conference Cup table as we go into the play-offs! You can congratulate me on that before I add another laurel on my hat! Now, the tactics part ......once you make top 8, use the last GW before playoffs to arrange your team, take point hits if necessary and prepare for the play-offs thats what i did, knowing that even if i lose you cant catch me. And since we are on the subject of predicting futures, my crystal ball tells me that your first opponent in the play-offs will be Viruz FC. he will most likely finish in 7th position at the end of this GW. Pele, end of the road for you .....him gonna tear you a new hole! |
