This is the video I was talking about, Zbone please tell me how you feel about it.

Cc: dramadiddy and gameboi..

Dramadiddy:
loool u nd karleb una funny oh...na my lucky una dey finish like this...well he plays for the highest paying church currently...in lekki...this present house...when you go for an audition there, u lld have to play like him or better or manageable...
noo the guy is very very good
and I wasn't criticizing him or anything lyk that. I believe if a person can't play what another has played there is no basis for criticism.
Music/Radio / Re: A Thread For Keyboardists by zbone(m): 8:59pm On Dec 22, 2014
Karleb:

My hymns? Ok, here's the list.

1. Silent night.

2. Joy to the world.

3. Deck the hall.

4. The first noel.

5. Hark the herald.

6. Angel from the realm of glory... to mention a few. grin

As per the video, I don't really dig the guy too although I know he's good but there is this Oscar Peterson's video that I have and it's really intimidating, lemme go check my archives.
kk
for the hymns are you using a score or you're playing them by ear?

Dramadiddy:
Lool when you become advanced you wouldn't let any passage in a song have silence..buh he doesnt play like that in service ohhh...dat one dem go pursue am be dat...he just uses it as a bag of things to do when he's on an audition
if he does that in service, some churches will chase him o. i think you know an advanced player by his ability to keep his listener engaged throughout a performance. the ability to control oneself, even if you know a million runs you can play at a particular point shows maturity as a musician. less is more they say.

Dramadiddy:
Well I watched a video of one of the best pianists in this country and I was scared...this guy is craaazzy...well when I kept on watching it...what do u think i noticed?...he was playing simple things, but...with so much speed, esp the basslines and harmonizations, although the chords were complicated, I dont know 70percent of them, but If i sat down to learn it, definitely I would get it... So we all can, there are some guys here that are scared of the way some people play, but the truth is, if you knw what theyre playing, u ll knw all this shakara is only a matter of speed...and the road to knowing what they play is having the right mindset, always rehearse...dont live on past glory...glory dey finish oh!... anyways...enjoy this

the guy is good but over good dey worry am

The night that Christ was born by Kirk Franklin is the one we are working on.
I'm not sure I've heard this song, I'll check it out. I plan to learn "have yourself a merry little Christmas, let ur....". I guess there are different versions of the song, so I'll just find one to work with.

I'm currently working on Emmanuel(Noerman Hutchins), Now behold the Lamb(Kirk Franklin) and the ones I might be given today.
nyc songs, I have tried playing both songs before.
I think the intro is the hardest part of now behold the lamb by kirk especially one trill part lyk DAT asides that its a very simple song. Emmanuel, has some nyc chords in it.
Music/Radio / Re: A Thread For Keyboardists by zbone(m): 7:18pm On Dec 19, 2014

Bros..... pertinent questions from this story

1.) Didnt they have toilet facilities in that female hostel abi how come they were urinating inside a bucket

2.) Even if they were urinating inside a bucket ( as weird as it sounds) would they have placed the bucket right in front of d hostel in full view of everyone

3) or is it that the girls quickly donated urine while u were trying to 'escape' and poured it on you

4) or is it that they had urinated already and were just waiting for you to be the partaker?

5) lastly how did you know dat the content of d bucket was urine. By taste or smell grin

Oya talk true bros, you added a little maggi and salt to this story. grin grin grin grin.

any minor can work for the 2,3,5,6,7 nd sometimes 4...the dominant can work for the 7,6,5,4 and 3 while the major can work on the 1,4 and sometimes 6...that one of what it will resolve to, i seriously dont knw hw to explain it thru writing
thanks. I will try to use these ideas. hopefully I can come up with the right questions. you're the best.

Dramadiddy:
zbone I got some chords that have fourth chords in them, we have(On C) :

1) Dom13 : C G Bb E(hope ur hand cn stretch for this E sha),//A D G
b) Dom13 : C G Bb// E A D

2) Domb13b5b9 : C G Bb E//Ab Db Gb

3) Dom#9#5 : C G E//Bb Eb Ab

4) Min13 : C Bb Eb// A D G

5) Minb13 : C G D//Bb Eb Ab

6) Minb13b9 : C G Db//Bb Eb Ab

7) Minb13#11 : C Gb D//Bb Eb Ab

cool Minb13b9 : C G Db//Bb Eb Ab

9) Maj13 : C G B//E A D

10) Majb13b5b9 : C G B E//Ab Db Gb

yeah, I just took a proper look at the chords. I couldn't make some of those stretches on the L.h though. I like the voicings, they sound really open with the fourth chords on the R.h. do you have like examples like on what bass note I can use any of these chords and what chord it will usually resolve to?

I want to quickly correct an impression. I do not hate falcao nor do i prefer van persie or wilson more. Falcao has proved to be a fighter and how he has fought to overcome his injury problems is one thing i commend him for. But i cannot start a player who still struggles for fitness. I do not care whether he's happy staying on the bench. If you must make my selection you must play according to my philosophy. I shall play other players who are fit and hope the injured ones get fit on time. Thank you
Louis na you be dat?
