Arrested kidnappers are released due to lack of conclusive evidence. While matchet, calabash and other tools may be found with them, these are nit enough to get a conviction in court. It is only in cases were the perpetrators are caught with body parts or a victim is available to testify that the kidnappers can be brought to justice.

So don't be surprised is Evans becomes a free man 2mao or this man that was rescued by the police today resumes kidnapping next 3 years.

Personally, i don't approve of lynching. However, i wish we could just lock them up forever.

Usually, when you work in a place for a long period of time (say 5 years or more) , you are entitled to some gratuity when you resign.

What your company is doing is that they are trying to avoid paying that gratuity by terminating your contracts and offering you new ones so in ur files, it will be that you were newly employed. I won't be surprised if it becomes an annual thing.
This way, someone who spends as much as 25 years in the company will not be entitled to any gratuity on leaving as the duration that will count will be from his latest contract

Absorption by the Vagina is also involuntary (if it were voluntary, people would not need condoms to avoid unwanted pregnancy). The Vagina was made to absorb seminal fluid beyond your control. The Anus was not made to absorb fluid and so it expulsion of it is beyond conscious control.

In Islam, Sex is not a sin. It is unlawful sex that is a sin.

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has said that there are no €˜killer anti-malaria drugs in Nigeria.


The Acting Director-General, NAFDAC, Dr. Yetunde Oni, who stated this yesterday at a news conference in Lagos, said the reports in the social media on the ‘kidney-killer’ malaria drugs were false as there are no such drugs in the country.



Against the backdrop of the dangers posed by the drugs, the Senate had flayed the NAFDAC and Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) for not adequately waging the war against the influx of fake and sub-standard items into the country.



The NAFDAC boss said the allegedly banned drugs are oral monotherapies containing single Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) such as Artesunate as contained in Arinate tablet, Amodiaquine contained in Comoquine, Dihydroartemisinin contained in Alaxin tablets and Pyrimethamine contained in Daraprim tablets which are not recommended for the treatment of malaria in Nigeria.



She said the agency is committed to the well-being of Nigerians and so wishes to douse the tension and correct the misinformation on the social media and mainstream media about the banned drugs.



Oni said: “We want to douse the tension and correct the misinformation on the social and mainstream media about the 42 anti-malaria medicines purportedly banned by the European Union (EU) but allegedly circulating in the country.



The Acting DG, therefore, urged Nigerians to use the recommended anti-malarial medicine Artemisin Combination Therapies (ACTs) for the treatment of malaria, which is in line with the guidelines according to the WHO and the Nigeria National Anti-malarial Treatment Policy.



She, however, noted that with the progress made in the anti-counterfeiting technology device (Scratch and Text) put in place by the agency to monitor fake drugs, the agency would in some weeks deploy software on phones to checkmate the status of any NAFDAC regulated products.



Responding on the use of chloroquine as an anti-malarial drug, Director, Registration and Regulation Affairs, NAFDAC, Mrs. Titi Owolabi, said though the drug is in the market, it does not serve as anti-malaria as it has its own functions.



She urged Nigerians to stop using the drug in the treatment of malaria as it serves another purpose.

I can love like no tomorrow, but i can do opposite just as well.

I've used to be an introvert ( or I thought i was), though i was always outspoken amongst friends (max i have at a time is 3) until my Undergraduate days, 300L upwards, when people usually say that i have two personalities of which one is great and the other is irritating, i found my self to be an ambivert

Sometimes i can be very jovial, almost talkative in class or in the midst of other crowd. I engage everyone in a discussion and make jokes about almost everyone. One would almost mistake me for a comedian. People love this guy, coupled with the fact that i was among the best in class.

Other days, i will just be on my own, not relating with anyone, just doing my thing. In such cases, I get questions like 'what's wrong?, 'You are not cheerful today' and i will be like 'nothing, I'm fine'. This introvert side of me has caused a lotta misunderstandings especially with the ladies as they expect to always meet that outspoken and jovial guy they kno, and on days I'm not, they will think i am mad at them for something or i am snobbing them, or i just don't want them around.

This lead me to being extra conscious around ladies and try to make my extrovert side available always, a feat i couldn't achieve even with tedious effort. I tried many times to do away with my introvert personality but to no avail. I have stopped trying and have accepted both sides of me.

I do party on occasion and i party hard on such occasions.

I Currently have 3 friends (the highest I've ever had) out if which i frequently communicate with 2 because they contact me frequently. I hardly call my friends. They do most of the calling.

I rarely chat, mostly visit Facebook and Twitter as a ghost (hardly update, comment or tweet)and This is probably my longest post on Nairaland.

As much as i wished (i have stopped wishing) to always be an extrovert, I love the Introvert part of myself as i rarely feel lonely when I'm alone and it gives me ample time to think and plan.

One major problem we have in this Fuvked up country is the Judiciary! One can easily get a pass after killing somebody.

The bail here does not mean he is free. It only means he will not be in jail until his case is judged after which his money will he refunded. If he is then sentenced, he will do the time.

Bail is actually free. The amount attached to a bail is just a collateral sum you pay to ensure you don't abscond while the case is on. Bail sums are usually accompanied by you having to provide one or two guarantors as well who will also put down collaterals as set by the court.

Once the case is concluded, regardless of whether the accused is sentenced or acquitted, the bail sum is usually refunded by the court.

In cases where the accused cannot meet the bail conditions, he or she stays in jail until the case is concluded. If later acquitted, will be set free. If sentenced however, the time spent in jail while the case was on going will be deducted from the sentence and the rest will be served.

In the case of this rapist, i don't think he will be able to meet the conditions as, apart from the 500k, he is to provide two sureties that will also put down 500k each as collateral.

Based on the questions, I recently wrote a dragnet test for Chevron internship last month at Benchill school in Warri. The verbal reasoning was 20 questions to be answered in 16 minutes which comprises of 4 comprehension passages and 5 questions culled from each comprehension. The quantiative reasoning consists of 20 questions in 16 minutes raning from simple interest, ratios, percentages etc. Goodluck to you guys.
