VO: Who would be sponsoring you?

Me: I got a research assistantship and my uncle's company would foot any balance.

VO: What does your uncle do?

Me: (in my mind, I said uncle's company o. I know say you hear me well.) He is into the importation of this and exportation of that.

VO: Okay.
@bold> This was what i meant last time...and justwise almost crucified me. congrats!

Time2Smile:

VO: You are going for a PhD, what research would you be working on?
Time2smile: I would be working on Neurodegenration research. The department has an ongoing collaboration with the School of Behavioral and Brain Science on the molecular mechanism underlying neuro degenerative diseases such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's diseases. (She wasn't looking at me but was typing and nodding so I continued) We would be using various molecular biology tools such as Real PCR, Next generation DNA sequencing, Micro array analysis to look for genes expressed in Alzheimer's disease but not in healthy individuals (I actually said all this but not as smoothly as it reads, by now I had her full attention).
Big congrat to you...been waiting for this.

these are the kind of transcript i love to read...really happy for you

Penn state univ,
UT Austin,
Stanford Univ ( targeting a scholarship specifically for their prospective graduate student).
UT Austin is ok. they do give funding especially for PhD.
I applied last time(Msc) and was given just 4160 dollars had to ditch it because it was not enough, but my friend was given full funding for PhD last year.

I do wonder how an individual who ask dumb and trivial question manage to graduate and how they intend to continue with their post graduate study... it's a pity.
Anyway kudos to ladies like lagosismyhome and gentle men like walspring who take out time to answer such questions, they are very good teachers... left for me such questions should be completely ignored.
I got a full scholarship and visa by simply making use of Nairaland and quora without asking questions. If at this stage we can't do our own research how do you intend to do a serious research at postgraduate level. it's a pity sha

You're talking about the DHL office at Ademola Adetokunbo road Wuse 2 right?
I'm not sure if I'll be able to get it before noon on d due date ( 2 working days after the visa is approved) so I can book an afternoon flight out.
yes ademola adetokunbo wuse II.
just get there in the morning on the due date or a day after... You won't spend more than 10 min there to get your passport...

Hello y'll.. . Pls who knows the usual passport pick up time at Abuja after someone is granted the USA student visa.
I know the pick up location is DHL office at wuse 2, usually 2 working days after the interview but I don't know the time; whether it's morning or afternoon?
Pls reply ASAP!!
THANKS.
just go there anytime of the day. Also try not to wait for them to send you message for pick up because they might not send. I waited for their email or text for more than 10 days and had to just go there to check if it was there only to be told it has been available for pick up more than a week before I came.

Hi ladies and gentlemen, My visa was approved on Tuesday 30th may 2017, in abuja us embassy by 7:30a.m. I checked my appointment page today to see if my passport is ready for collection only to see "your passport is still with the us embassy.." is it normal considering today is suppose to make it three or four working days. beside I'm suppose to collect it in abuja.
