RealLordZeus, the scientific, mathematical, logical, and probability incosistencies in the Big Bang Theory are so glaring that it would take only a blind religious adherent to accept it without questioning. The atheists greatest line of defense when confronted with the inconsistencies of their belief (belief, not scientifically proven fact) of the origin of life and the universe is the question - if God created the universe, then who created God? Of course, telling them that God is the uncreated Creator breeds more arguments than answers. There is, however, one salient fact they intentionally pretend to be ignorant of. Let me start with the book of Genesis where it all began. Scholars believe that between Genesis Chapter 1 verses 1 and 2, a significant period of time had passed in the range of millions of years. It is called the Gap Theory or Gap Creationism. Now, here is what.... God has always been on the scene of earth's history, only becoming 'visible' to us millions of years ago. The earth is not 6000 years as many Christians are apt to think; it is much more than that. The earth is millions of years in existence. However, Man's age on earth is 6000 years now and counting. God did not just create and quietly leave the scene for man to forever ponder his point of origin. He has consistently made His Presence known to man with workings and signs that fall outside the scope of the normal, the logical, the scientific because normal, logical, and scientific can never admit as true whatever falls outside their ken of operation even if it is a fact. For example, it is only logical and scientific to conclude that pregnancy in a woman is as a result of sperm deposit from a male. This is normal. On the contrary, Jesus Christ, a very great historical figure, was born without any sperm deposit from any man but His existence is a fact. Quote me on that. But this falls outside the admissible scope of truth using the yardsticks of the normal, logical, and scientific. Now, God has always been active in the scenes of earth's history but He did not vanish into oblivion. The works He does, the words He spoke and still speak, the scientifically impossible nature of testimonies of His existence and presence, all attest to a Being that was and is...a Being older than time itself. If God created life and the universe, then who created God? My answer is who cares? If you can tell the origin of God then you are God. My answer is not based on blind faith, rather, it's based on the question, "Does it work?" I don't pretend to know how God came to be but I know from evidence He exists, He is real in the Bible as He is real in today's world, so my answer is yes, it works. Can the atheists say the same about the Big Bang Theory? Darwin's Theory of Evolution? Can any of them boldly say this theories worked then and they work now? |

The Universe, the solar system, Man, animals, the Sun, the Moon, are all products of physical and chemical reactions over millions and millions of years - says the scientist. It means perfect order came from randomness. For example, let's say the Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy is a product of chance, not well thought-out design that was effectively excuted by advanced knowledge towards that end. The Leaning Tower of Pisa came about through years of physical and chemical reactions independently 'creating' or, say, reacting (which is the more preferred word) to result in a beautiful product of advanced engineering mathematics called the Leaning Tower of Pisa. No argument there. It also means we should thank billions and billions of 'accidental' chemical and physical reactions for the manifest order, complexity and perfection of the galaxy, the solar system, the ecosystem, the perfect amount of different gases needed for the perpetual survival of mankind, animals and plants, the perfect cycle of the ever-changing seasons in different parts of the world, micro organisms, the clouds that discharge rain to the earth when due to maintain the forests and trees bearing fruit and plants in general.... Let us thank billions and billions of accidental physical and chemical reactions for 'accidentally' resulting in the Ozone layer around the Sun which filters ultra-violet rays from harming life on earth otherwise mankind and animals and plants and organisms as well as micro-organisms would have been extinct a very very very long time ago. Just think about the probability of one accidental reaction in a trillion accidents going sour and upsetting the scale of accidental perfections so as to result in universal cataclysm. The probability is zero which is a staggering scientific impossibility. I could go on and on but that would be over-flogging the issue. It also means that this chemical and physical reactions especially advanced earth far above other planets in the sense that it resulted in intelligent life that is not in existence in the other 8 planets of the solar system. Is this a product of accident or otherwise? Given that trillions of accidental reactions ALL resulted in physically and mathematically impossible perfections I'd say we are products of accidents which turn out, as usual, to be perfect designs. Lolz. |

Lolzz. If the lady in question is a Christian and reads her Bible then she should explain this verse where Jesus said, and I quote, "And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire." (Matthew 18:9) |

In fact, don't leave the house. Stay there. Let him do his worst. You are not some housemaid that can be sent packing at anytime when the employer is tired of her presence. You are not on a monthly salary as wife. You are his WIFE for goodness sake! You have always taken good care of him, you left other men to be with him. DO NOT GO ANYWHERE. Stay right where you belong. He should be glad that he only got some beating for his adulterous nature. Tomorrow, who knows what would befall him should he persist in his cheating ways? 11 Likes |

I believe you acted in haste. There are some people that a simple and severe caution would suffice to make them desist from their cheating ways. Maybe he feels hurt you denied him that right and that you preceded caution with punishment. Anyways, you did what you believed to be right the outcome no matter. To the matter, I think his telling you to leave his house is his best response to the shame of being caught in his game and disgraced publicly. Best to leave him to lick his wounds and reflect on the futility of his adulterous ways with its many unexpected, unwelcome and dire consequences. He needs time alone to come to his senses. Give him space to do that but before you do that notify his parents or anyone he respects. In my opinion, you may have acted in haste but you have just saved your husband big time....maybe he knows it and is not willing to admit it. 1 Like |

Yuji: Their hypocrisy is not new. Nextprince, his brother-in-bigotry, is also well known for this (right now he is turning every stone and leaf, searching every crack, nook and corner in hopes of finding a topic against the Igbos to satisfy his incurable addiction of insulting them). They are quick to insult the Igbos but when they see threads where a Yoruba man or woman is the suspect they quickly turn to 'peace preachers'. Look at their pitiful condition. The concoction of hypocrisy, bigotry, tribalism, and obsession with the Igbos now makes them suffer Multi Personality Disorder. I hope there's hope for them. 9 Likes 2 Shares |

Yorubas, Igbos, Hausas we all have contributed to the good and bad of the nation so what is the deal with trying to make a particular tribe blameworthy for crimes committed in the nation and outside the borders of the nation? In addition, I detest name calling when a particular member of a tribe has been reported to be involved in a crime as if crime is tribe specific. I hope we can put that negative habit to permanent rest. |

Ereolamide: Believe it or not many elders and Igbo people condemned his hate speeches. Truthfully, Kanu made salient points concerning the state of the nation under the decades of Hausa/Fulani rule which calls for concern and address, however, I and many others condemned his hate speeches right from the beginning because we are all humans. I have a number of Yoruba friends and I won't trade that friendship on a cause for separation built on hate speeches. I would rather we separate on friendly terms than as enemies. I support the agitation for Biafra with reasons but it should have nothing to do with my relationship with anyone from another tribe. It is myopic to think that ALL Igbos think and talk like Nnamdi Kanu as if it is logical to reason that ALL Yorubas think and talk like Oba Akiolu. At least, many groups of thought have sprung from the East and beyond to voice their rejection of separation being pursued by Nnamdi Kanu whereas none spoke out against Oba Akiolu's genocidal hate speech. Don't think for a moment that the Igbos have abandoned pursuing their cause for separation. That is false impression. We all are pursuing the common cause for a separate nation which is a universal right of nations under a federation but we don't want the achievement of our cause to undermine the peace and security of our country that's why some Igbo groups have made their voice to be heard expressing their dissociation as regards pursuing this goal under Kanu. What more do you want? |

This looks like the end of what once was known as Nigeria. It began with the president who called a nation of people 5% and acted accordingly. This sparked a flame of division that grew and grew and has engulfed the entire nation. Had he reacted differently or wisely by carrying them along in his prejudiced policies the case for agitation would not be as intense as it is today and there would be no threats issued to different tribes to vacate regions. Not blaming president Buhari for the actions of the Northerners or the Middle Belt indigenes but the current state of events can be clearly traced back to his biased statement and actions excluding one of the major tribes of Nigeria from his political appointments and infrastructural development plans. So unwise. My take is let peace reign but the ball is in the court of the Northerners. Whatever they decide will determine if this country continues its story peacefully as Nigeria or is torn into independent separate chapters. |

NPComplete: Until you post the more intriguing sources this link is balderdash as it is just lectures on the subject. |

plaetton: Again, you keep digressing and dodging the point. Quit the lecture and provide proofs, examples to back your opinion up. For example, give me a name or two of Muslims who died for hours, were certified dead but came back to life and reported having experienced and seen Allah. Prove your point. Besides, you have managed to avoid giving any explanation regarding the possibility of a person dying and coming back to life even after being certified dead by medical practitioners. The longest a person can stay without oxygen supply to the brain is 4 - 6 minutes at which time resuscitation is possible. However, after the elapse of that time frame the brain function becomes dead which means the person dies and nothing medical science can do to help them. They are pronounced dead and the time which death occurred is recorded. When a person comes back to life after being brain dead for a very long period of time it is called resurrection. Tell me how Daniel Ekechukwu and Dean Braxton manage to defy science and come back to life after hours of being certified dead. |

Like seriously? The greater the height you attain spiritually in your Christian walk the more careful you should be as that's when you are more likely to fall. There's no such thing as being above sin when you are still in a corrupt flesh. Eyes on Jesus. 1 Like |

NPComplete: Knowing that a great many of them were unbelievers and non-Christians when they had NDEs and OBEs. Not everyone who has an OBE or NDE sees heaven or hell or God or angels or demons. Ernest Hemmingway is one of such examples. That said, please give me one or two names of faithless people who died for many hours with proof like the ones I mentioned above and came back to life to testify to the reality of a being or nothing other than God. I await your response. |
![]() |
plaetton: I have established that there's life after death through this scientifically inexplicable but verifiable happenings. As regards your question, you may need to hear Dean Braxton's testimony if you want to know more. Faith does not make something abstract a reality neither does the lack of it obliterate the existence of reality. Like I said, give me examples of similar testimonies of witnesses to the existence of Allah or Zeus. How many peeps have had experiences of speaking with them? Who has spoken to Allah or seen him? Zeus? Krishna? ToothFairy? Now you see why their experiences cannot be proof of the existence of mythic gods, gods that remain only in the pages of the books where they were spoken of unlike the Christian God. |
![]() |
plaetton: Very relevant to the issue of God's existence. First, his resurrection has nothing to do with science which is the final authority of the atheists. It was not an act of medical resuscitation. This already punches a big hole in the atheists argument that there is no life beyond the grave and that humans do not have a soul that lives forever. Secondly, corpses don't have the intelligence to exercise faith but his testimony holds that God brought Him back to life. If he had no faith in which its absence should erode the existence of God how did he come back to life? Finally, Zeus or Amadioha or the ToothFairy or Allah would be real beings only if there were thousands upon thousands of cases defying scientific explanation as obtains in Christianity where they were witnessed by those who died and came back to life. Why aren't they making themselves known? Simple, they are myths but Jesus is not; He is very much real and present. While pondering this, if you care to explain I would appreciate it to know the scientific reason why Dean Braxton died for two hours and came back to life and testified to God's existence. The doctor who was treating him when he died also confirmed this report. Why did he see Jesus, and not Allah or the ToothFairy or Amadioha? Like Daniel Ekechukwu, Dean Braxton's story is a proof of the existence of Jesus Christ and God the Father. Give me testimonies of people who died and saw Amadioha, Allah, Zeus, Ra, etc… then you will have an argument. |

plaetton: Tell me why Daniel Ekechukwu who died, was certified dead by qualified doctors with evidence, and his corpse deposited in the mortuary came back to life after many hours though he was dead, brain dead, body rigid, and had no sign of life even through the night he was in the mortuary? Do dead people exercise faith? Google Daniel Ekechukwu before you ask me who he is. |

Weak argument. I have a simple answer to your question to prove that God exists: His existence is independent of faith. In the era when the gods you mentioned were worshipped they were not known all over the world except in the geographical territory where those religions were practiced. Today, they have become objects of history because time has exposed them as myths. However, God, the God of Abraham, who has been before the gods you mentioned including Allah is widely known all over the world yet there are hundreds of millions of people who don't believe in Him still He fills the past, present and future, faith or not. The gods you mentioned faded away because they are temporary inventions of man; God is eternal and as such He remains present throughout eternity. 6 Likes |
