The same question the good girls ask, "Why is it difficult to get a good guy while the bad girls get the good guys?"

Zither are you stalking me? shocked

Knew something like this would come up. I don't do online romance or relationships or that kind of thing. Besides, I have no idea what you look like and on top of that you're married. As regards stalking you, you should know by now that family section is a small place and we bump into a particular name often numerous times as we read through new or trending topics. The occasion for coincidental meeting abounds in such online community. Lastly, if you took the time to make a short investigation into my personality by looking through my comments you would have dispelled the notion of my stalking you because it is a stark contrast with my religious belief as a Christian.

I however believe I courted this reaction from you by unnecessarily throwing compliments your way. It achieved the opposite effect intended which was to convey my respect and appreciation of your wisdom.

Besides, following a member of this forum is likened to stalking them and it is the norm but you will confirm that I never followed you as a member. What else should I say but that you've got it all wrong.

Where did I imply that?

All I can tell you is that it wasn't an accident. You were there at the right time. God led you there through your decision. The best you can do for yourself is to seek to know God. He alone knows your future, your purpose in life. I believe that little girl was just one of many people tied to your destiny. If you don't fulfill it.... hmmm.

You don't have to date for years to know someone is on drugs, etc.
What is important is what you actually do with the dating time. Are u people just going out seeing movies, eating out, having fun, etc?
Get to really know each other...talk and ask questions, observe behaviours and pick up vibes. It is not about just having fun. Open your eyes and the inner eyes too.

Hmmm. Once again, impressive comment. Your hubby must be very lucky. smiley

That woman is psychologically unstable. Putting her in detention only to be released later is injustice. She should be kept permanently in a mental institution after serving her time in jail or she may do something worse to another innocent person, probably an unsuspecting neighbour, and claim a voice told her to kill that person because they planned to kill her. Weird world we live in.

The best punishment is that she has the child and faces the responsibility of being a mother along with her education, career, etc. She won't stop going to church and school if possible. I won't hide her at home or send her packing. Let her live openly with her mistakes and deal with them.
And I wont pause my life to take care of the baby while she goes back to her life. She will figure out a way to juggle while i help out.

You sound exactly like one who would be a very loving and supportive mother but also a no-nonsense mother. My ideal kind of woman. Please am not hitting on you, just expressing my thoughts.

My first reaction would be one of great disappointment. This will be followed by investigation. In the end, since it can't be undone she just has to live with the consequences or whatever outcome of the pregnancy but a dad will always love his daughter. There are things in life that one can never stop from happening or change. We just have to learn to deal with them. Now you see why fathers are over protective of their daughters.

I believe this is not the first time she would manhandle her mother in such manner as to beat her up publicly.

All those years caring for her, watching over her, sacrificing her happiness for her, being there for her only to be repaid with this. Truly, she is worse than a serpent's bite.

why then has he not restored the eyes of people who are still blind??

God is not a magician who waves a magic wand and changes things. He is a miracle working God who does the impossible only if He sees your faith and persistence in seeking the miracle. Many people today have not received a miracle from God, not because they don't have faith but because they think that if they have prayed and sought the miracle for a period of time without results then it must mean that faith doesn't work so they give up and begin exploring other means to restore their sight. They forget that faith is persistent and doesn't quit until it has received an answer to its prayer.

Oh really? And you know this because....

If God created people blind He wouldn't need to open their eyes. If He wanted anyone blind there is nothing anyone could do about it. The fact that He restores the sight of people is a pointer to the fact that He does not create them that way.

It is absurd when people say they have a natural inclination to a particular habit as if it justifies evil. Sin is sin whether you discovered your tendency towards it at a tender age or at a later stage in life. Many times the child is a victim of the carelessness of the parents or wrong association with bad friends. Many times the child's curiousity leads them to a particular harmful or evil habit which grows and sticks with them so that it becomes difficult to change as they grow. Whichever way, we all develop one habit or the other as we grow into adults. We are responsible for developing or keeping them or getting rid of them. They may die hard if they have become a part of us over the years but they still die if we really desire to be rid of them.

Homosexualism is pure evil. Don't justify it; get rid of it.

ModusOperandi:
You don't believe in God but you believe in Jesus? I don't understand how that's even possible.

He said that through Jesus he now sees the Father clearer. Let's just say he wants to know God through Jesus Christ and not the God in the Old Testament.

My problem with this is that his view of God contrasts with the Biblical fact that God is the same yesterday, today and forever. If, however, he accepts and understands God better through Jesus Christ then there's nothing wrong with what he has written. Afterall, Jesus is the bridge to the Father. This writeup is an example of that.

No proper investigation carried out into the matter and he just published it based on the account of a total stranger. Tarnishing the image and reputation of someone on the so-called evidence of words. This is the height of gross misconduct. What if at the end of the day it turns out she was actually lying and trying to defame or blackmail the Pastor? Especially these days when women can go to any length to get what they want without working for it including bringing a man down so they can use him as stepping stone to achieve their desires.

The question is who are these Prophets to determine what will happen in a man's life, even the Holy bible said; who will say a thing & it comes to pass when the Lord hasn't commanded it so...? I 've told him to seek God's face instead of some prophet that keep giving them nightmare for prophecies...

I agree with you about the guy in question seeking God for himself. However, the fivefold ministry gifts are not cosmetic gifts of the Body of Christ. They are there to edify, exhort, and guide the people of God. True servants of God do not give you their opinion on such matters and even if they do it is Only after they have given you God's opinion or will on the matter. Remember, Christians are exhorted not to despise prophecies.

Not all men of God are genuine. He should make efforts to confirm the truth from two or three genuine and trusted servants of God and should couple it with the witness God gives him as he seeks Him for answer then he will know the direction to take. The lady should also ask God to reveal His mind to her concerning the matter to confirm what the Prophets said. In the mouth of two or three witnesses a word is confirmed.

Kelrob, never forget what I am about to tell you though it is already written in the Word of God. It is this - wherever the children of God sow the seeds of the Word of God the devil will send his own children to sow weeds there. It is very very very normal.

The devil will do anything to discredit the manifestations of the Holy Spirit. His work is to sow doubt which his atheists children are very competent in doing. Never argue with them. Always ignore them. I never argue with a blind person about the colour of anything. All he sees is black in everything.

If you must argue with them then do that through your consistency in following God. Just like the devil they will flee as you resist them being firm in the Faith.

My prayer - may God keep you in the Faith and help you fulfill your purpose for which He sent you to earth.

The signs are there. She has been warned repeatedly through prophecy that the guy is not her true future partner. That guy should leave that girl because he will hurt her seriously in the future despite all his confessions of love for her now.

She will be foolish to go ahead and marry him love or not. The guy should just move on and look for his missing rib elsewhere.

Some peeps here parading the banner of Reason are naturally opposed to my religious opinion just as I am to theirs so please do not quote me in that regard as it is a gross waste of ink. I speak to spiritual minds, not carnal ones.

Delishpot, you will soon find, like the Facebook girl, that some men are beyond the reach of reasoning. The rib ish is just a symbolic notion that only applies when a woman is bethrothed to a man. She is first a creation of God like any other man. If she is created from a man's rib then whose rib? Why don't the men say they are created from the dust to make irrelevant the process of human reproduction?

I used to think it was just my brothers using a term of insult whenever they called the Western and Northern relationship slave-master relationship until one mindless slave in the front page said the Fulanis with their bloodthirsty and customary slaughter of people all around Nigeria are not the problem, that the Igbos peacefully agitating for a separate State are the problem. It was then I realized it is a fact having witnessed this firsthand.

Is this the reason why they hardly comment on any thread reporting the murderous rampage of the Fulanis all over the country? This being a case in point.

I have consulted the gods on your behalf. The gods have smiled on your request. I will help you and make you the greatest pastor that you will steal all the members of Oyedepo, Idahosa, Adeboye, Kumuyi, and T.B. Joshua in one day. Even all the crippled and paralyzed in T.B. Joshua's church will run to your church on hearing about you. You will build the largest church in the universe.

The gods have granted your desire. All they request are just a few pieces of sacrifice to make it possible.

- a tooth from a living man-eating shark. Don't kill it or make it sleep in the process of getting the tooth otherwise the sacrifice will be rejected. the gods will grant you strength and inspiration

- an upclose and personal selfie picture with a grizzly bear that has just been robbed of her cub

- a flask of water gotten from the mid-point of a whirlpool in the sea with video as proof

- the skeletal structure of a 3000 year old whale still intact

- a full grown vulture with full natural hair on its head

- 7 eggplant leaves without veins

- the shell of the oldest turtle on earth

- and the heads of twenty full grown cocks that have never crowed in their lives. They're special sacrifice for the gods

- and finally, 7000 dollars in cash. The gods don't need your money. They only request it as a pledge of your utmost sincerity and willingness of your desire to pursue your dream.

As you can see they are very easy to procure. After all the items listed above have been provided I guarantee you that you will be the newest billionaire in the world with signs and wonders at your beck and call. I made Oyedepo who he is. He is my son. I am tested and trusted. Let me know if you are interested so that we can proceed to the next step.

Atheism is a temporary delusion. Whether here (earth) or there (afterlife), the outcome is certain - strong belief that God exists. Their constant denial and argument all sum up to an unavoidable and inescapable conclusion of God's existence.

abegi, he said the gospel truth. All our pastors are thieves. I can say it any were. U are part of the covetous mind he is talking about

It is ignorance that makes you call all pastors thieves. There are many pastors unknown, not wealthy, having little flock, suffering selflessly in the discharge of their duties as shepherds appointed by God and doing that happily and here you are shouting ignorantly.

There are lecturers who are known for sexually harassing students but does that make all lecturers in the world guilty of the same wrong? Soldiers and policemen are well known for their brutality but does that make all of them one in behaviour? Many accountants are known for falsifying information but does that make all accountants dishonest?
Religion / Re: How Do One Know For Sure That His/her Sins Are Forgiven Them? by Zither(m): 6:17am On Jun 18, 2017
You know God has forgiven you through faith. The righteous shall live by faith. Whatever you do as a Christian is based on faith. Without faith it is impossible to please God. Even, the exercise of faith does not end in our death on earth here. It continues till eternity. Faith is ageless. God calls those things that be not as if they were and we are the children of God. Like Father like sons.

The Word of God says there's no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit of God. Any thought that condemns you or makes you feel guilty for the sins you have repented from is not from God or His Spirit. That is the Accuser, the Devil speaking to you by impressing lying thoughts in your mind to make it seem as if the thoughts originated from your mind. You see why it is of the greatest necessity to renew your mind daily lest the devil pollutes it entirely with his lies and make you turn from following God through that deadly sin called False Humility by which the devil makes you think you are no good for God, that your sins are too much for God to forgive, that your past cannot be forgiven, that you are so evil or have done so much bad things that you don't deserve God's love, etc. The more you linger in false humility the greater the danger.

Again, this shows why as a Christian you must be extremely watchful whatever thoughts that enter your mind. You cast down every evil thoughts and imaginations that are contrary to the Word of God. The mind is a battlefield. The battle to keep it under the authority of Jesus Christ is fought everyday of our lives.

Not stepping into the Promised Land was God's judgment on Moses for refusing to give Him the glory when he made water come out of a rock. God made Moses see it but He told Moses he wouldn't step into it Today, Moses is with God. God forgave him but he punished him. Lesson: never ever take the glory that belongs to God. God Himself will give you His glory but don't touch the one meant for Him.
Religion / Re: How Preachers Successfully Exploit People by Zither(m): 5:32am On Jun 18, 2017
Don't forget that the judgment of God is also coming on those passing judgment. Your Scripture quotations are wide off the mark of your subject matter. I keep saying this, leave men of God alone because you are not God who called them and who will also judge them knowing this that the judgment of preachers will be stricter. In the same vein, their reward is greater. To judge them is to disrespect the authority of God Himself. Beware, Mister.
