Travel / Healthy Tips To Have In Mind Before Flying Pregnant by Zodblog(m): 8:33am On May 05, 2019
Today we are going to brief you on healthy tips to have at the back of your mind when flying pregnant.we all know how important this moment are in every woman’s life. For that reason we guide you on your pregnancy travel journey with tips to help you and make you comfortable when flying pregnant

Consult your doctor or midwife

Is very advisable to speak with your doctor or midwife before making plans of traveling or booking your flight ticket anywhere. Mind you that domestic flight within the country is perfectly fine, but a 12 hour flight to London may be a bit more strenuous on your body.most pregnancy are risk free and travel is something a mother can consider doing during these precious nine months – as long as your healthcare practitioner gives you the go ahead

Is flying going to harm your baby

Flying won’t harm your unborn baby and there is no more chance of early labour or any other complications while flying pregnant as with both feet in the ground.

The best time to fly while pregnant

Out of forty weeks of pregnancy which spans three trimesters, you experience different level of comfort. For most persons the second trimester will be the most comfortable. Woman experience mild to moderate level of morning sickness, various fatigue during the first trimester, with all this. you are really going to be very uncomfortable, At the last trimester you are going to be feeling quite heavy and too uncomfortable to be flying from one destination to another. So from 13 to 28 weeks will really be the best time to fly. You will feel most like your regular self and flying will be a breeze.

Unforseen circumstances during flight

Be rest assured that in the very slim event that your not feeling great and something happen, The airline staff are trained to assist you in any way that you may possibly need.

Were you should sit when flying pregnant

Growing weight hovering over your bladder, pregnant woman tend to need the bathroom quite often then the normal person. So you should get a sit close to the loo, ideally. This is towards the front or back of the cabin class, and of course, on the aisle. Unless your traveling with friends or family member who won’t mind being disturbed by your bathroom breaks, don’t forget to always make sure you book your seat in advance.

Heavy luggage

No one love the idea of carrying heavy bags around, pregnant or not. So please do yourself a favor by packing as light as possible to avoid having to carry any heavy luggage. Use suitcase on wheels and where possible, please do ask those around you to help lift your luggage up onto conveyor belts and into the overhead compartments on the airplane itself.

What to wear while flying pregnant

Consider your comfort first and that of the baby inside of you, so is advisable to go for looser pieces of clothing, maternity gown and pants are ideal as they allow for your expandable belly – ideal for when seated for long periods. Your feet need to be as comfortable as possible so think trainers,rubber-soled flats, sandels and all of those comfy shoes. Even better than regular laced trainers? Velcro straps for easy-on, easy-off access when flying pregnant.

Keep moving

Avoid sitting for long, stretches at a time and walk up and down the aisle to keep blood flowing. Pregnant woman are often more susceptible to blood clots and of course, Those unpleasant swollen ankles! Make sure you stretch and move your feet at least once every 30 minutes or so. And try to get up and out of your seat every two hours of sitting at least

Snacks for flying pregnant

Whether you’re flying for long distance or short distance, make sure to pack in some snacks. Your airline may not have the best option available for you to make your choice from, so don’t forget to pack your favorites in before flying. Eg fruit bars, nuts, energy bars and biscuits those can go a long way when trying to keep hunger at Bay. For dietary requirements during your pregnancy, make sure to book on time with the airline. Mind you, that your encouraged to eat variety of Foods and to enjoy everything in moderation, but if any specific food is making you feel extra bloated or just uncomfortable during your pregnancy then talk to airline staff up front.

Stay hydrated

Make sure you have a bottle of water beside you when flying.it may counterproductive as your going to be making use of the bathroom all the time, but it’s generally importanto stay hydrated when flying pregnant. Staying hydrated can keep early and false contractions at Bay,so you really want to keep that water at your side

Cut-off time for flying pregnant?

Most airlines insists that you can not fly once you have passed the 36-weeks mark. With just a few weeks untill your due date, are you traveling far away from your birthing facility? There are, however, some exceptions and most airlines are happy to accept a latter from your doctor stating that you are fit and able to fly up until 38 weeks into your pregnancy. Make sure you check with your airline ahead of time.

Japan as we all know is a land of production, and it's passport has been ranked the most powerful passport in the world with it's citizens enjoying visa-free/visa-on-arrival access to 190 destinations.

From the record of Henley passport index which source it's data from the international Air Transport Authority (IATA), Nigeria gained visa free access ( net-free-access) to three new countries, making it's visa-free access to 46 countries in total.

Speaking on the methodology of the ranking, Henley said: for each travel destination,if no visa is required for passport holders from a country or territory, then a score with value = 1 is created for that passport.

" This same methodology is also applied if a passport holder can obtain a visa on arrival, a visitor's permit,or an electronic travel authority (ETA) When entering the destination. These visa-types require no pre-departure government approval, because of the specific visa-waiver program in place.

Where a visa is required,or where a passport holder has to obtain a government-approved eletronic visa (e-visa) before departure,a score with value = 0 is assigned. A score with value = 0 is also assigned if passport holders need pre- departure government approval for a visa on arrival, in this scenario we do not consider 'visa-free'."

1 Cambodia*, 2 Maldives*, 3Timor-Leste* 4 Benin*, 5 Burkina Faso, 6 Cameroon, 7 cape Verde Islands, 8 Chad, 9 Comores Islands*, 10 Cote d'Ivoire(Ivory Coast),

11 Djibouti*,12 Gambia*, 13 Ghana,14 Guinea,15 Guinea-Bissau,16 Kenya*,17 Liberia, 18 Madagascar*,19 Mali, 20 Mauritania*,21 Mauritius*, 22 Mozambique*,23 Niger,24 Rwanda*,25 Senegal, 26 Seychelles*,27 Sierra 28 Leone,29 Somalia*, 30 Togo, 31 Uganda*,32 Cook Islands, 33 Fiji, 34 Micronesia,35 Niue, 36 Palau Islands*, 37 Samoa* 38Tuvalu*, 39 Vanuatu, 40 Barbados,41 Dominica, 42 Haiti,43 Montserrat, 44 st.kitts and Nevis, 45 Iran*, 46 Lebanon*
