Good morning Oga Justwise, FrontPage Lawyer and other gurus in the house, Please I need your guide on how to package my account for the renewal of my visa. I am planning to get 2 years, I travelled twice last year with my six months visa (1st trip 7 days, 2nd trip 1 month). I work in reputable organisation with 8 years in its service. My dilema is that I do not keep hold of money in my account, buy I have N1.7m in my cooperative account. As my salary is paid, i put part in my cooperative while the remaining goes into my building project and household expenses. I earn N145,000/month. I am happily married with 2 kids. Please, guide me on how to package my account for my renewal. All other papers are intact and readily available. Thank you.

@ Poster, To begin with,

1. Who is sponsoring the training?

a. If all expenses is going to be paid for by your organaisation, your account balance does not count, so you needed not to bother about your account balance but an evidence that the company pays your salary into that account every month. Tha's your link with the organisation with relavant cover letters from the organisation and payment for the training etc.

b. If you are the one paying for the conference, you need to block all the loop holes by avoiding huge deposit and make all necessary payments.

2. Build your account and re-apply.

3. Good luck.

Good day everybody,

i am new in this forum but i was attracted to it because i noticed that there is many guys who have a good understanding in the travel issues. i hope some one can advise me in my issue.

I work in an Egyptian branch in Egypt for an English company in UK.

The company asked me to apply for a UK business visit visa to UK to train me for a new product.

I have some friends in the same company who traveled before for the same reason (training) advised me to submit an HR letter and bank statement summary beside the invitation letter from the company and borrow some money to make the bank statement summary look better (big mistake i realized it later) but they done it before and worked with them.

so i followed their advise. and i applied for the visa

i received a refusal note (the first) because of :

The clearance officer wants to see the salary transactions in my account and my marriage evidence (my Ties to Egypt).

so, i applied again and submitted the bank statement in details with my salary transactions and my marriage evidence and my house papers.

and i have applied again.

i received a refusal note (the second) because of :

the large deposit prior of my application.

Now i should payback this deposit to its owner again.
Now, i have two refusal because of my ignorance but they will think i am dishonest, what should i do?
Now i missed the current training chance.
but it will be some more in the future and it is good for my career and experience.

shall i forget it?
shall I wait for the next training chance and submit a fresh bank statement (depend on my salary only with regular transactions) with a fresh application or it will be a waste of time?

will they treat the third application with its merits or they will consider the previous refusal reasons and will ask for the origin of the large deposit again (it will not exist in the third application)?
and if i applied again shall i mention any reason for this deposit or not?

any help or advise will be very appreciated.

Frankly speaking, if PDP had judiciously spent these $$$ on our infrastructure, there wouldn't any need for them to bribe anybody before wining an election, Nigerians would have willingly voted for PDP. I weep for my country. May all of you never know peace considering the number of children you turn in orphans and wives you tune to widows. God will judge you all.

I am disappointed with this officer's comment. He commented as if he does not know how his colleagues thieves in uniform behaved at the airport. Instead of him to cover his face in shame, after all, they are all shameless, no pride. On idiot approached me when coming into the country from UK last month, because he saw my luggage tagged heavy, he asked me to come and give them something because my luggage was heavy, I shouted at him and asked me to go. Minister of interior should please do something about their sordid behavior. Relevant authority do an undercover work to bring the bastards to book. They are disgrace to human kind.

They are all thieves. The guy that hold news paper on the table where your luggage is being checked is the one collecting the money, he would ask you to slip it in between the newspaper. They are disgrace to this nation. Something must be done about them even the civil defense at the entrance and those under the bridges. They do not have pride at all.

I had similar experience with KLM from Lagos to Schipol and Citi-Jet to London City Airport in Sept. I waited to pick my luggage on arrival at London City airport but got only one out of 2. I reported at the counted and was asked to fill a form that it would be looked for and delivered to my address. Surprisingly, what was broght to me the following day shocked me as bad with just few items was brought to me. I futher reported this to Air France/KLM and City Jet, I was asked to produce Police report, affidafit and receipts of the items in my luggage that i would be refunded. Lo and behold, where would i get reciept of Aso-Ebi, Hair extension (lots) my shoes, Kilishi and other items from. That's how i forgo everything. But when I was coming back home, I kept receipt of every single items in my luggage in case of eventuality but I thank God that my luggage was intact.

I paid 192k for Air France to London City, my schedule DD is September, few days later it came down as low as 165k and few days after that it sky recketted to 248K. Crime / Re: Scam/ Forgry At NIPOST Office, Who Do I Report To? by zoomzu(f): 9:08pm On Aug 27, 2015
Based on my experience with how postages works, the sender shouldn't have put a value of 100,000 on it. The duty charged was based on that value. If item got lost in transit, the OP would not hesitate to request NIPOST to pay the value of the item. Next time, you undervalue it. OP, just pay the amount charged and collect your item.

This happened to me last week, I erroneously paid the sum of 150,000 into wrong beneficiary's account. I approached the bank and I was sent an indemnity for to fill and submit for them to block the money so that the person won't be able to withdraw it while I persuade him to refund it or approach the court to get a court order for the bank to reverse the transaction in case the person refuse to vulontrarily approach the bank to pay the money back. The person was given excuses but I went to court to get the court order and my money was paid back. I like the way GTBank responded to my pleas. Let's try to be good to ourselves. GTBank Thank you.

Hello Good People in the House,

I need your guide on like questions or what to be avoided on this trip of mine. I came back from U.K on a 6 days conference trip. (I spent just 6 days as stated in application) but now I intend travelling back in September on leave to visit my cousin who had earlier invited me for visit but refused ( i did not appeal because I was not keen to travel then but not have my visa which will expire before the end of the year). Is there anything I have to do. I intend spending 25 to 30 days in U.K with on approved annual leave from my office. Thanking you for guide. Regards to Justwise for always being there at all time. am asking this because i used my biological fathers name for my passport and do not want to create the impression that i am deceive them which am not..
thanks in advance.

Bros, just stick to information earlier provided because they have it in their database. I don't think your parent DOB is a material fact to your application unless you are submitting a paper that has your parent DOB on it. Do they know when my parents were born. It is what you tell them that they will know, just be consistent with the information you are giving them.

Good day Justwise and Fellow Gurus.

My company has been invited by a UK engineering company for pre-inspection of equipment which we acquired for a university here in Nigeria under a Government contract.

The documents I have available are as follows:

(1) Invitation letter
(2) Marriage certificate
(3) Children birth certificates
(4) Wedding photographs
(5) Evidence of business activities
(6) Certificate of incorporation
(7) Company tax clearance certificate
(cool Personal Income Tax card.
(9) Statements of account for the last 6 months. (company)
(10) Hotel reservation.
(11) Explanatory details of how the trip will be beneficial to us.

Because my personal statement of account has only 400k. I have decided not to include it, but use the company's account for the trip. Please advise.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

@ Poster, It is good to include your salary account irrespective of what the balance is, it is just to show that your are connected to that organisation after all, you are not the one paying for the trip. Ensure you indicate you available for the trip as provided by the organisation and when it gets to a section where you are being asked, who is paying for this trip, put your organisation.

I had less than that in my account when I applied but my organisation provided all the papers for my visa and £2,047 for my trip including DSA. You are good to go. Don't forget to include photographs that shows your personality professional wise, be it meetings, delivering lectures, installations and sort of. I wish you all the best. Justwise was my guide during my application and my visa came quicker than expected. Just 5 days.

Respected forum members,

Please, what is the correct interpretation of: How much do you have for your trip? Does it mean, the total amount I want to SPEND for my trip OR the amount I have in my BANK ACCOUNT, and from which I will spend for the trip.

Lastly, must the amount I HAVE for the trip be the same balance on my bank statement or can it be different? For example, can I say I have 1 Million for the trip, but show 2 Million on my bank statement instead? Does this make any sense, please.

Kind regards....
Total money you have for the trip is the amount you want to spend on the trip which is flight+train+hotel+shopping. It is not your account balance but the amount you intend to spend out of your total bank balance. If you are going to be accommodated and fed, just state the flight cost and possibly amount set aside for shopping.
