drpossibilities:
The statement should be "The suspect is currently been severely beaten and tortured to confess." No be only interrogation.

Quite unfortunately you are very correct. One of the girls happen to live in my street and she said the pastor was badly beaten, they placed a 2 million naira bail on him.
What I don't understand is why this particular girl's parent had to pay 10,000 naira to bail their daughter, are the girls not victims ?
The girl said that they are 13 in number not 30 that is been reported.

Hi guru's in the house.. I need your help

Whenever I want to save something in my system, be it microsoft document or a movie I want to download with opera, mozilla or chrome, I always see 'not responding,' and then 'close or wait to respond' which will take forever till I close the page.

I have tried deleting and reinstalling , but still the problem is still there.

I use windows defender as antivirus and I still have alot of space in my local disk.

Please help a sister. .. what do I do apart from formatting the laptop?

Thanks

Disable Windows Defender then install Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, do a full system scan to remove malwares. After, install another anti-virus (eset, kaspersky etc) and do another full scan. If the problem persist then you may need to do a system files repair "https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929833".

Pls elaborate more

White people and other races of man are evolutionary branches from ancient Africa dwelling people (Black men). There wouldn't have been branches (other races) in the human line if these Africans did not make a conscious effort to leave the African continent.

Nairaland / General / Re: I present to you MY HERO! by zoraro(m): 3:47pm On Sep 05, 2015
J3da:
WHAT A FAKE WORLD…
A child comes into the world crying,
Everyone is rejoicing…
He starts growing
Everyone loves him and desires to carry him and call him nice names
He starts trying to succeed and people are encouraging him to rise up
But when he starts making progress, the problem starts
Some will become jealous, looking for how to pull him down
He dares them and steps on their toes to climb higher
They hate him and curse him and call him names, even wishing him dead…
Unfortunately he dies and everyone starts crying…
They start saying wonderful things about him
“He was a good man”
“He was nice”
“He was faithful”
But if I may ask, “Why will he suddenly become good after death?”
“Will anyone give his/her life for this man to come back to life?”
What if a miracle happens and the man starts rising again from the grave?
Wow! Everyone will jump up and run for their lives…
Hahahaha… what a fake world!
Aren’t this world and the people fake?
Pretence and deception everywhere
Fake celebrities on tv, borrowing ladies and cars to shoot videos just to make us admire them and wish we were as wealthy as they are
They act very sexy parts and appear half-nude in movies
But they try to appear descent in real life
So the life in the movie is far different from the real life?
If so, why do we try to copy the ‘TV-life’ and not their real life?
There is always a beautiful face on the cases of creams and soaps
It’s just to deceive you and make you believe that the
beautiful woman on the pack has been using the soap, therefore if you want your skin to be like hers, you have to buy the soap or cream…
What a terrible lie… You will be shocked to know that the woman on the pack has never used that soap or cream, she is a model that was hired to make the product sell…
Oh! It’s obvious that we live in a fake world,
A world that cannot be trusted
A world that will not last long
A world that will soon fade away
So I have no other choice than to stick to my one and only Jesus
The Alpha and Omega
The best companion ever
His yes is yes and no, no
Even if the world fades away and throws everyone into danger, you will never be disappointed with Jesus by your side
WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN JESUS,
ALWAYS A FRIEND, FOREVER A TRUSTED FRIEND,
DISCONNECT FROM THE WORLD AND STAY WITH JESUS AND
HE WILL GUIDE YOU TILL THE END..

Let's hope that your "one and only Jesus" is not fake too in the end. Just saying o. grin

VickyRotex:

Now, for someone who has attempted suicide once, is it right to leave him at home and go to Church, for hours, with nobody monitoring him?
Since his parents couldnt get him a counsellor to get rid of depression, why dint they monitor him closely? I still maintain my stands, I blame the parents more. The guy is dead, there's no point blaming him for taking his life. If they had assisted him earlier, he'd have got his confidence back.

You are absolutely right, I don't know why some others are not getting your point. He should have been under surveillance for some months at least after the first suicide attempt.

Buhari is Buhari and nor "Northen Presidents". No doubt things would have been a lot more different had his first coming been longer than it was.

Jonathan had no reason to fail as much as he did or leave an empty treasury. No time in the history of the country did we earn as much as we did under Jonathan. What is there to show for all that?? A couple of locomotive trains which we only saw during campaigns. Where are they today?? Did Jonathan even fulfil a single campaign promise of his in 2011??

That dude leaves a lot to be desired from an adult honestly. He simply didn't know what was required of him as a president.

If under President Jonathan administration Nigeria earned much more than other administrations why are you not giving him any credit angry.
