It happened on the 24th April, 2016 at about 23:49 one Engr. Richard Opaluwa who hails from Kogi state working for a construction company- ALCON Nig. Ltd in Bonny Island. He perpetrated this act around the above mentioned time after his usual visit to a popular drinking joint on the Island. He invaded the residence of one Claris -A young girl of about 28 yrs who also works for the same company working for NLNG -Bonny plant complex, violated the young after over powering the young who is about one third of his body weight. He pretended to have visited one of the occupants of her residence- an estate, he went to her room to warm food he collected from his host -an accountant in the same company, in the process of the young girl putting the food inside the micro-wave; this man called Richard dived her and started caressing and sucking her boobs from there over powered her and made clear and easy entry into her. When this was going on the girl pleaded with him to let her off the hook but he vehemently refused, he tied her up and closed her mouth, which made it impossible for the girl to shout for help. After the incident, she used her last breath to call one of her colleagues in the office, when this guy came, after a little brief of what happened from the girl, Richard and the guy invited agreed to plead with the young girl to forgive and not to say what transpired to anybody because of her reputation. This matter was reported to the company management-ALCON and NLNG but it was handled with kids glove, with levity, rather than investigate this matter they rusticated the RAPIST and the girl who was on her own and this rapist -Engr came and violated her.

We kindly call on the management of NLNG and other well meaning Nigerians and women rights organisation to wade into this matter to safe this young promising girl who has been violated by this wicked man. Her job and reputation is now at stake.
