Supposedly, a tech enthusiast, Jose Rodriguez has just found a method which triggers iOS 12.1 lock screen bypass by exploiting the group Facetime feature.

Rodriguez says, this bypass does not necessarily require using Siri, unlike the previous passcode bypass methods for iOS 12.

How does the screen lock bypass work?

According to Rodriguez, invoking the newly introduced Group FaceTime feature in the iOS 12.1 could allow an attacker to access user contacts. To exploit this bug, the attacker must have physical access to the device.

All it takes for an attacker is to call the target iPhone from any other iPhone, and invoking Group FaceTime after the call connects. The Group Facetime is the latest feature for the popular app.

Group FaceTime allows video chats with as many as 32 contacts. It means the feature involves access to the contacts stored on the device. That’s where the glitch resides. An attacker can simply tap “Add Person” from the menu, and then click on the “+” icon in the next screen. This is it! The entire contacts list now becomes exposed to the attacker. From here, the attacker can easily access further details for each contact by simply tapping individual contacts.

What Apple needs to do about latest screen lock bypass

The recent iOS 12.1 lock screen bypass method comes right after the release of the updated iOS. Although, Apple has patched the previous passcode bypass bugs in this version. The current vulnerability is still awaiting a patch.

The new exploit specifically works for iPhones as it involves FaceTime. Almost all iPhone models running the iOS 12.1 are vulnerable to this attack method. What’s more worrying is that, at present, no workaround is available for the vulnerability.

Apple needs to get a patch as soon as as possible because this could lead to major social engineering attacks.

How can people be so cruel, are you the one who gave him life...theres no right to take his life for any reason!! Well the woman that did is called Saratu, and she has been arrested in Lagos state for allegedly burning the private parts of her seven-year-old nephew, Razak Qudus. According to PUNCH Metro, Saratu allegedly burnt the boy’s private parts with a stove after he was accused of stealing N100.


The victim, who is a primary four pupil in a private school, lived with the suspect in the Afariogun, Oshodi area of the state.

It was gathered that Saratu’s neighbours reported the matter to a coordinator of the Child Protection Network, Ebenezer Omejalile, living in the area, who in turn reported to the police. The matter was reported at the Makinde Police Division, Oshodi, and Saratu was arrested.

Speaking with PUNCH Metro, Omejalile said the victim had been taken to a hospital for a checkup while the police had charged the suspect to court.

He said:
“The victim is her nephew. The boy attends a private nursery and primary school around Afariogun Junction. He was accused of stealing the money in the school.
“The woman brutalised the boy’s genitals. While we were at the police station, I also informed the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team, Alausa. I am sure justice will be done in this matter. The boy has been taken into government’s custody.”
A social worker said that the Lagos State Office of the Public Defender had also been involved in the case.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, confirmed the arrest.

She said:
“The suspect rubbed pepper on the boy’s genitals and started beating him. The boy in the process fell on a burning stove and incurred burns in his private parts. The suspect has been charged to court and remanded in prison.

1) They Pray: Look around you every Nigerian who is successful today, has been that because of God. Irrespective of the tribe or religion ask a successful man(CEO, Designer, Actors, Entertainers, Artistes) what is the reason for your success and he'd tell you that its God and no morning passes without him going down on his/her kneels to thank God.

2)Map out their day: Successful nigerians are known to always map out what their day should look like either on a notepad , phones or tablets...they never want go be caught unawares or probably doing the wrong thing at the wrong time .

3)Hit the Gym or take a run: Most successful Nigerians ensure that their mind, body and soul are at a great balance so they ensure they hit the gym few times in a week or even go running whilst listening to their favorite morning podcasts, motivational messages or music tracks.- Take a walk at Lekki-Ikoyi toll bridge in the mornings and you would know.

4) Eat a healthy breakfast: yes a healthy breakfast...you know the saying "the way through a mans heart is through his stomach " well lemme rephrase it "the way to a productive morning is through a healthy breakfast"capiche? You dont want to go and have pounded yam and Vegetable soup by 7am or 8am when you know you have tons of work to do at the office or you have to drive through lagos traffic -you cant let LASMA catch you sleeping

5)They read: Yea- I know most people find reading boring , but that's what successful nigerians do. Aliko Dangote reads an average of seven new books per week, that's how he keeps his mind renewed and keeps bagging all the millions.for him the saying "Readers are Leaders" never grows old.

6)Renew their Dreams and goals: Common now, do you think the goal Femi Otedola had when he was 14 years would be the same now, or Media Mogul Mo' Abudu..the visions she has now for her Tv station cant be the same with what she had 5 years ago..so renew them, and note them down. Look further and think where you want your business to be or where you want yourself to be.

7)Successful Nigerians get all their tasky jobs done in the morning when they are well balanced amd stable, they do not procrastinate and move heavy jobs to noon.
Lastly successful Nigerians do not care what people are saying behind their back, they are focused on doing right by them, God and their Country.

Yesterday the ooni of ife was carrying out his fundamental traditional rites in the city of

Daughter of the greatest boxers of all time Laila Ali was caught in an Interview with Robin Roberts on Good morning America.

During the interview Laila Ali had a little time to reflect on some of her fondest memories with her dad from childhood, all the way up to recent years.

Before her time of reflection, Roberts asked Laila how she felt within that moment and she said, “I’ve been feeling the love since before my father passed away. But I can say I’m obviously really sad, but I’ve been sad for a long time.”

She further explained, “You know just watching my father struggling with Parkinson’s disease, I feel like he was trapped inside of his body. So I have comfort in knowing he’s not suffering anymore.”
Laila also revealed to the host that the entire kids (9 of them) stood by his side when he took his last breath at the hospital.

“Thank God, all of us kids, you know my father has nine children total, were all at the hospital. And all had the opportunity to be with him when he passed away. My sisters were saying Islamic prayers, so it was a very peaceful time, we sent him off in a very peaceful way. And we all were there, that doesn’t always happen. Everybody has the opportunity to be there so that was very nice.”

Muhammad Ali’s jenazah (Muslim Funeral Prayer Service) will take place Thursday at Freedom Hall in Louisville, KY. His funeral will take place Friday at 2pm at KFC Yum! Center.

Not quite long Operatives of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC recently arrested the managing director of Fidelity bank of the said bribe and also raided the offices of Sterling Bank Plc. Now Yesterday May 6 they (EFCC) stormed the headquarters of Access bank in relation to the $115 million bribe election bribe reportedly dispensed by the immediate past minister of petroleum, Diezani Alison-Madueke..

They reportedly interrogated The Manager Mr Herbert Wigwe for several hours by operatives of the anti-graft agency..
