Some of our old roads were constructed when Nigeria housing was never this complex. You can’t go and repair 1970 roads just for sake of repairing them when new one can be built to open new frontiers and link states more faster.

Going by your logic, the Lagos state govt should not have tried to build the rail system that is now a pride of Lagos, because we still have many potholes in Lagos. Going by your logic Buhari should have built the 2nd Niger bridge since we have many potholes and poor electricity all over the country. Going by your logic Babangida should not have built the 3rd mainland bridge, a very complex and expensive undertaking.

Tinapa failed but the Lekki Free Trade Zone has not failed. It is the site of the largest refinery in the world right now.
