Not applicable to this scenario.

God didn't build USA or other developed countries.

We should have handed Nigeria to God and stop conducting elections undecided

So funny, Nigerians did not even know what they want or maybe being spoon-feed. Everyone saying failure but can't state categorically and how he failed shows that Tinubu is doing well in the right direction but Nigeria didn't want to bear any cost like pains. Let's keep this, till just 6 months of dangote selling fuel to the Nigerians from July, then we come back to say another thing. No pains no gains!

So your hope is on Dangote and not on Tinubu

We would be making a bad mistake to score him high just as is a bad mistake to score him low. The reason is there is no president in Nigeria that will ever give us a satisfactory performance in a country where you have weak and destroyed institutions.

The decay is continuing and worsening.

Unfortunately, Nigerians themselves don't want strong institutions, we prefer strong individuals whereas no society can ever produce a strong leader where there is no strong institution. No, there isn't! That is why in places where there should have been rays of hope like churches and mosques, we only have sour experiences.

Look at the past and present of certain political figures who are going up and down because they want to be president. Who among them is the kind of messiah figure we always crave? Bunch of untried and/or unconvicted criminals.

That is why we say brake it up or down so that we can go back and build strong relevant institutions which people can own and trust. If we restructure, aren't we going to have good leaders produced and nurtured by our institutions and for our development ?

A country where terrorists are in charge and untouchable; a country where deadly dealers are celebrated saintly saviours; a country where citizens would rather in a season take N90 billion for Mecca hajj subsidy and only God knows how much for Jerusalem and turn around to say they want a developed country like UK and US who don't send their wealth to Saudi Arabia; a country whose citizens would rather go to UAE to hide and enjoy stolen wealth but wouldn't learn and use the example of the 7-emirate structure to replicate similar or better development at home; country which ranks amongst the poorest in the world but boasts of the richest in Africa and in the world; a country where lots of people, including religious leaders, go about with unquestioned questionable wealth... Is that a country?
There is a need to score him, If A president does not perform we as a country are meant to vote him out and elect a next one and same faith meets him too if he/she fails to perform, until we reach the promised land!

Who facilitate or brought Dangote to Lagos? Check it well. He knows a day like this will surely come. That is being visionary. Moreso not only Dangote, just watch as things unfold as we go on. I know most youths started knowing jagaban from 2023 election, now and soon, you will know details of how he became and meaning of Asiwaju.
Re: What Is Your Rating Of Tinubu’s Administration In One Year? by Hueyreckless0007: 11:50am On May 19
He does not deserve to sit on the seat of power.
Man had no vision, just wanted to become president so he can loot his share. May God help us all.

OK. We await the unfolding and the manifestation of Asiwaju in Tinubu.

What do we stand to gain if he falls?

Colossal failure.

If we are to be honest with ourselves, in every indices or parameter for measurement, the score is negative.

Power = very poor
Economy = very poor
Employment = very poor
Agriculture = very poor
Fuel = very poor

FDI = very poor( rather than the influx of foreign investment, it has been an exodus of businesses leaving Nigeria). The cost of doing business has tripled due to the high cost of fuel, diesel accompanied with a dilapidated power sector.

Security = 40% the menace of herdsmen or whatever we call it has reduced drastically. We still have loads of cases of insecurity here and there, but way better than the previous govt.

Can the government still get it right? Yes, I think so.

The first step is admitting the current policies are not working and a rejig of the policy framework.

1) a state of emergency should be declared in the power sector and the privatisation process revisited. The present system is not working and might not work if we continue in the same trajectory.

2) fuel subsidy should be re-instated. This is the only short term solution to bringing down high inflation, since the change we desire in the power sector won't be feasible in the short term.

3) I think the govt should go into mechanised agriculture with the sole aim of selling them off to private investors. The current rudimentary style of agriculture we have in Nigeria can never feed Nigeria, talk more of export. The 90bn expended on pilgrimage would have done a whole lot in this sector.

On a scale of 1-10, I will score him 1/10

You are dispassionate, I agree with you fully except on the area of hope for a turn around. With these crop of vultures in government, you don't expect to arrest decay, what then will they feast on?
