Base on my own experience I apply to attend a 4 days conference in toronto and also indicate that I will also be visiting some interesting place metion during dis period making total no of 10day for d journey. But to my suprise I was issue 2yrs Visa indicating visit and business. This may be due to my little travel histor but they can give more than that from what I found out depending on when your passport expired.

tanks so much. my conference is 4 days but did not mention I will be visiting other places cos I actually won't visit any other place or person. hope it won't be of any disadvantage to me? I also have been to usa and Europe.

Why not just go to the states ? Your story doesn't add up. Why not wait.to be heard from US immigration ?

I've noticed d way u answer people's question here and permit me to term u ignorant and arrogant. If u must know, some people can't stay a whole year without seeing their spouse. My husband n I make sure we see yearly pending when my immigrant visa clicks. If u must also know,it is very hard to get a U.S non-immigrant visa when u have a pending immigrant visa application cos the VO assumes u might end up nt using d non-immigrant visa for its purpose. So my advice for u is that b4 u say people's story don't add up,try and use ur brain and atleast think a little. That's if u've got brains. And please I don't need u to comment on my post cos I don't like ur arrogance.

In addition to those documents you mention you also need to add your marriage certificate, leave letter, bank statement, payslips(6months), evidence of accommodation in Canada or IV. If you have property, car or any other investment in Nigeria you can add that.

It will help your application if you mention the pending US immigration application hence the choice of Canada for the holiday while you wait for the outcome

Hi NL,

Thank you all for the past help, i learnt alot on NL which helped to get a safe landing for my US and France Visas, i apprecaite you all.

I am just a travelling freak! its time to see what Canada is like, would lke to go later in the year during my annual leave.

I have 2yrs UK visa, it expires in Nov, i should most likely renew 5yrs and renew my un-used France Visa around Nov. My US visa still runs till Nov 2016.... i would like to apply for a Canada Visit/Tourist Visa. i intend to go the hotel reserve way like i did with the US, kindly throw an insight on what i need to present to the V0, the docs required, how much time it takes and sureties...

i have been working with an Oil n Gas Coy for 4yrs, i earn above 200k a month, i have a fixed deposit of 6m with GTB and about a balance of 2m(accrued) in my salary account, i also have a car...

i count on our detailed help.
