Yes, if they are above 5 years they will get the RNE (Permanent Residence) but 5 years below will get Naturalize (Brazil Passport)

Note - Delivery is free in Brazil to any kind or form of Delivery, IT IS TOTAL FREE OF CHARGE

And education is free as well to any level, even to superior (University level)

I attended two different free language schools and they still pay me the transport to go to school

Oh Brazil.... Uma Pais Para Tudo

I love Brazil grin

Hey Adigu,

Please check your information again. I think you probably mean the old law before 2017. Siblings of a Brazilian child get Permanent residence irrespective of the age. Unless of course they are also born in Brazil. After living in Brazil for one uninterrupted year, all siblings and parents can apply for Brazilian citizenship and passport.

Thanks

I think we should be informed rightly so people make they right decision and have right expectations. I’m not an expert. I comment on only what I know and clearly state in my responses if I don’t know something.

There are lots of cities that are safe in Sao Paulo not just for Pregnant women, for everyone. Brazilians respect pregnant women, children, old people and special people. Any Brazilian that don't give respect to this people is a Vagabundu.

So to avoid this Vagabundu don't live in favelas, live in the center of the city.

There are many cities but I am used to Santo Andre, Sao Paulo Centro, Tatuape, Mogi, and more

Brazil is too big and that Sao Paulo sef big no be small

Please what do you think about Sao Carlos city in Sao Paulo, is it a good place to reside with my family after my wife gives birth and Joinville in the state of Santa cataria in comparison where would you say is the best. In terms of living expenses, education for my kids, job and other things that can make life comfortable. Thanks

Hey Ifexontop giving birth in Brazil is a wonderful idea and choice and you are making the right decision. Unfortunately, you are not allowed to work on your tourist visa. Violating this rule could compromise your permanent residency application. Even if you still want to go ahead, it is extremely difficult (not impossible) to get a job that can maintain you and you family without a proper visa and Portuguese language. For anyone planning to give birth in Brazil, i will advice that your get all your finances together back home before coming to Brazil. After all public hospitals are totally free. Use the period of giving birth as a holiday, learn the language and explore opportunities. after your child is born, you can use your permanent residency to look for a job. Sorry but i need to tell things as it is so you know what to expect.

Thanks

Could you recommend a safer city and a private hospital for someone who only wants to have the baby and leave immediately?

Florianópolis, Campo Grande, Belo Horizonte, Palmas. Sao Paulo and Brasilia are also safe but avoid them if you want to live the country early. The bureaucracy is insanely slow because they are populated. Any private hospital in the first 4 cities mentioned should be good. Stay in the state capitals and not other cities because all paperwork are done in the state capitals. Thanks

You need an American Visa. Even Brazilian citizens need an American visa to get into the US. A Nigerian needs a Visa to visit. So you must have the ViSa before embarking on such. I hope this answers your questions

Yes you can Visit USA with your Nigerian passport provided you have US Visa on your passport, even Brazilians too need a US visa to visit US and AMericans too need Brazil Visa to visit Brazil, but 10years US Visa is granted to Brazil passport holders without any stress at once,so the best bet is to firstly get your PR and then a year after getting your PR you are eligible to apply for the Brazil passport and Boom!!! you can start travelling round the world with that blue beautiful brazil passport

hmmm bro, to be sincere its difficult to get a job without a PR, infact its not allowed by law. so pls prepare yourself financially and then you can find some cheaper and safe cities to stay. for example in places like florianopolis, curitiba you can get a good service apartment for rent at 1200-1500reais/per month...equivalent in naira of btw 100k-150k/per month give or take...so you can have a budget for the number of months you plan to stay and i will advice you even over shoot your budget and have much more extra cash with you. For me, brazil is the best option to give birth right now with all the several benefits it has and you will forever be grateful that you did it for your child/children

If job is waiting for someone in Brazil, does that mean that person has gotten PR automatically... What can you say about securing work visa at their embassy in Nigeria... Hope they are not that strict with it?

Thanks

OK house...so I travelled to Lagos last month and submitted an application for Brazil tourist visa at the Consulate. My wife is pregnant but we did it nicely that it didn't show a bit. We had a nice chat with the VO and he said we would get a mail informing us to come pick our passports soonest. He said if we weren't available, we could detail someone to pick up for us provided we inform the consulate prior...and all. Howbeit, I had to travel last weekend and I informed a friend in Lekki that he would do the pick up for us when the time comes. Now I have received a mail form the Consulate inviting us for an interview. I don't know if this is an invitation to pick up our passports or another round of VO interview. Mind you every single document submitted was authentic and original so I'm not worried of any such incident. I just want to confirm if this email title is meant to be invitation for collection of passport or not
