The CP belongs to a law enforcement agency. If the security stability of a state depends on who attends a burial, he has the constitutional right to decide who attends such a burial.

A group does not need to be armed for it to pose as a security challenge.

Have you ever witnessed a riot before or a lynch mob? They all begin as an unarmed crowd of people. And then riot can begin with just a mere word of mouth, and before you know it, you have killings and burning of properties.

As for Boko Haram and herdsmen, it is not like the security agents aren't doing anything about it. I believe you were not asleep when policemen foiled a suicide attack on a Winners Chapel branch. I also believe that you have not been asleep all this while that Operation Rattlesnake 3 of the Nigerian Airforce has been dealing with ISWAP in Borno.

The fact that Boko Haram and other violent groups are still present in Borno does not mean the police or other security agencies should not do their work of enforcing law and order in other parts of the country.
