Vs = {5/(25+5)} × 30 V = 5V
Rs = 0.1 kΩ/V × 5V = 0.5 kΩ


1/R = 1/Rb + 1/Rm + 1/Rs
1/R = 1/5 + 1/2 + 1/0.5
1/R = 2.7
R = 1/2.7 = 0.37 kΩ


Vo = {5/(25+0.37)} × 30
Vo = 5.912 V

i do not know how this negative thought came out from ur mind,what u dnt know is that i have the solution with me already i am only doing this from passion.do you remember that no tertiary institution is session talkless of giving out assignment to their student because the question above is not from secondary school as you think.......if u cannt solve it just view and leave, you do not need to distrupt the open minded people that will try their luck...have a good day.

Internal resistance of the meter=maximum voltage range *sensitivity
rm= 10*0.1=1kπ

Rt= (Ra *rm)/(Ra+rm)
Rt=(1*5)/(1+5)=0.83kπ

USING POTENTIAL DIViDER RULE,

Vm= (30 * 0.83)/(0.83+2)
Vm=8.799V.

Hence, the reading of the meter Is 8.799v

Resistance in parallel sec= ((5*10^3)*(2*10^3))/(5*10^3)+(2*10^3)

=1.429kohms

the voltage on the meter now is
=(1.429*10^3)*30V/(25*10^3)+(1.429*10^3)
= 1.62V

1/5 + 1/2 = 7/10

Therefore, inverting the result gives Resistance in Parallel = 10/7 Kohms

Total Resistance in the circuit = 25 Kohms + 10/7 Kohms = 185/7Kohms

Applying ratios...

Voltage across multimeter = (Resistance across multimeter/Total Resistance in the circuit) * 30V

= [ (10/7) / (185/7) ] * 30
~ 1.6216 V
