I had an inquisitive mind when I was in school but you dare not question Aunty and Uncle for teaching you nonsense. It is not in the syllabus. They are taught to teach us nonsense handed down by Europeans. You see it on Nairaland, people will condemn everything African and tell us the white man's way is the best. Their brains have been programmed. So many people have tried to change the syllabus that was not designed to make us think critically but the defenders are Africans who enjoy the status quo.

Yoruba will say oduduwa grandchild became oba of benin. Benin will say ekeladaran is oduduwa and was a child of an ogiso.

Ijaw/urhobo/ itsekiri will say they got somewhere first and the others is a settler.

Fulani will claim communities in the north saying they settled there first while the indigenous people in that region will say otherwise.
