You are most definitely NOT from the South of South region of Nigeria OR the from Niger Delta.

Just right below is a newspaper article from March 2024 featuring Chief Edwin Clark who is a foremost Ijaw and Nigerian nationalist commending the President Bola Tinubu administration for starting the Lagos to Calabar Coastal highway construction. He also told Tinubu in an open thank you letter to also simultaneously finish the East-West Road, and other major roads in Nigeria. Chief Edwin Clark has NEVER insulted the current Tinubu-led Federal Government or told them to stop the construction of the Lagos to Calabar Coastal highway like a vast number of some well-known narcissistic Ibos on this Website and other online platforms have been saying due to envy and ethnic bigotry!

=>https://nigerianpilot.news/2024/03/30/clark-hails-tinubu-for-lagos-calabar-coastal-road-project/

One of the NL posters from the South East earlier this week could not even hide his bigotry and envy when he posted that the Lagos to Calabar Coastal highway should have passed through the South East and proceeded to mention the routes in Iboland the road should have passed through. More than 98 percent of those openly condemning this public-private partnership road construction on NL and other online platforms are well-known Ibos or Ibo monikers and this is the reason why Dave Umahi also said the man who contested the last Presidential election and came 3rd was further inciting the South East against the success of the road construction because Dave himself has come under attacks online by these group of Ibos!

Tell me, how can a coastal highway pass through the South East which has NO coastline or shares direct boundaries with the Atlantic Ocean? This shows a complete lack of critical thinking from some of these young and ill-informed NL posters tbh.

My brother, the Niger Delta are not interested in whatsoever highway.

This attitude of tagging anyone who doesn't align with your view Igbo is nauseating.

It's incorrect and highly NAUSEATING for you to boldly say that the Niger Deltans are NOT interested in the highway. Who made YOU a mouthpiece for the Niger Delta? Are YOU more Niger Deltan than Chief Edwin Clark and other Niger Deltans who have commended the construction of the Lagos to Calabar Coastal highway?

You are stating the economic importance without knowing the direction of this road. Poorly tutored agbadorian.

Now show me where this road project will pass through in Rivers State and name the location.

Make sure you don't run away from my question.

The Road was designed by Architects in the Fed Min of Works and I don't know if you are more knowledgeable about road design than them. He doesn't have to show you where the Road would pass bcoz he was not the designer.

Stop playing! Nigeria does not have money for the road how much more train to be included

It would have been a speed train route for commercial goods and people, as it would aid movement of raw semi raw and finished goods arround the southern region

Your ignorance is what made you to believe that fraudulent map.

The shorelines in Rivers State and Bayelsa state including Delta is not same as Lagos state.

Because the criminals wanted to steal in trillions with this project, they never told you that coastal areas in the aforementioned States are peoples ancestral homes. It is not exactly what you have in Lagos state.

Are you going to uproot those people from their swampy villages with mangrove forests and creeks because of coastal highway?

Travel and see, that is part of education.
Since you have failed to name the locations where this fraudulent road will pass through, then begin to think now and ask Thièfnubu your criminally minded uncle serious questions about this project. grin grin

Your ignorance and bitterness are the reason you don't want to believe that map.

Now we are warning you guys about this project....

Do you guys ever learn?
Obi too might have done worse,
Under Obi as Gov, doctors were on strike more than a year in Anambra.
Point out to his legacy in Anambra.
Today, but today you people have turned him to your hero with zero achievement
Despite the shortcomings of Buhari, he delivered second Niger bridge that Jonathan could not achieve for South East despite overwhelming support Jonathan got from South East

No one in his right senses Will say such project is not good.
The issue some people have concern with is the timing. Can our economy afford such project now? Should we not get out of the red and into the green, stabilize the economy before investing in the this?

I am glad of the economic prospect of the road to the South-West and South-South people.

Especially that Ondo state axis.

Oga shush that mouth of yours if truly the road is linking existing federal roads. How come it is costing that much? Something doesn't add up. The design you are showing here doesn't link all the.ports in the south South. Make una take am easy to dey lie.

Nigerians must think well before criticizing

Dude the map you showed is the coastal line and not the road. Secondly can you explain the humongous amounts for this project of it links existing road infrastructures. Thirdly the road is not linking all then ports that one is a lie. It is not linking Koko port, Warri port, PH port or Calabar Port. Even at that there is no economic sense to link all the ports via a 700km road. That one is pure BS. That money should have been channelled to renovate existing roads and build new ones that connect the ports to the hinterland.

Beach resort on the Atlantic Ocean in Banjul, The Gambia. There is a newly constructed coastal highway in Banjull, but it is not on the coast.

Coastal highway in Banjul is it linking various ports? Banjul is a long stretch of coastline, and so it makes economic sense for a coastal road linking various beach resorts. In Nigeria's case it is pure unadulterated BS to build a 700km road connection ports, on what basis? This is the question FG has been unable to articulate to the masses.

This is what other countries do on their coast lines.

Bro I am well versed in West Africa. Using Gambia as a case study is pure BS. Banjul is a long stretch of coastline. So having a coastal road to link resort effectively makes pure sense as it serves as a tourism booster. In Nigeria's case it is BS. On what basis are you linking ports in the South, when the hinterland which can feed them with goods for exports and can serve as the outlet for imports are in a poor state?
